Yes, but I don't let it get to me... I know I am fat. Most of the people in my grade are only 100 - 120 pounds. I am about 142 lbs. If I'm not fat then I am chubby...

Nope. I know I need to lose a little bit of weight. I've never been discriminated for it though.

I have been discriminated for my fabulous mustache before though. A teacher of mine hinted that I needed to shave. B-but, how could I?

I am really skinny. My honest weight ranges from 98 pounds to 101 or 102. I am only 20 years old.

All through High school, I had people ask if I was anorexic. No. Not even close. If you could see the way I eat, I have some news for you. I practically eat like a cow. I LOVE to eat. Even when I am not hungry. I just have a VERY high metabolism. I have always had trouble gaining weight. This goes for my parents. They are stick thin...so...where do I get it from? I do, however, wish I could gain a little bit more weight so people can quit asking me.

All my friends and random people always came up to me and was like "Wow, you are skinny" or "Omgshhh you are so skinny, how do you live?" or "Man, you are tiny, put some meat on those bones!" Its...SO..ANNOYING! I cannot gain weight, first off, and how I live? I eat....A LOT thank you!

No, honestly, I think being called "Too skinny" is just as bad as being called "Too fat". Its rude. If you are gonna call me skinny, you better make it a compliment or say my body is nice, because I get the fact that I'M SKINNY!

People these days

I know how you feel! I eat a lot and I don't gain. My mom said,"Where do you put it all?" she wasn't making fun of me as she wish she could be the same way as me. I weigh 110 pounds and I'm 38 years old. I might gain a little during the holidays and I'll lose that weight at work. I've been called a "tooth pick" or "bird legs".

Yeah, I forgotten to mention, my Grandma always teases me with my weight and says I "need to eat more" when she's the one to talk, because she was stick thin, until her 60s.

Anywho, yeah, I been called "Bird legs", "chicken legs", "Skinny mini", "tooth pick", and even a "Skeleton" .-.

Korth Norea is a huge issue. Somalia is a huge issue.

This, is not.

I hate to do this, but payback is an old grey mare and you never miss a chance to do it to me:

"Appeal to Worse problems" fallacy.

On topic, no because I'm only slightly chubby(I'm 5ft 4in and 195lbs that pretty well distributed instead of all being in my gut) and I don't wear tight or revealing clothes that show it off. I use wear black shirts as well.

Damn, got me there XD

.. or did you? The OP never specified what a "huge issue" is, therefore, we have a bit of a Schrödinger's cat scenario.

Huge is relative. If a problem is causes someone psychological stress than it's huge from their perspective.

I'm not overweight in the slightest so I haven't been made fun of in that department. That said, I've seen people attacked both verbally and physically for just being a few kilos overweight, kinda sickening.

I have been abused for being really tall and broad though, which is weird.

Yep. All throughout elementary and middle school I was teased for being the 'fat kid'. I'm still overweight (170lbs, 5'3), but the bullying stopped in high school, so that's cool.

I've picked up about 20 lbs since being pregnant, but other than that no.

But to those that think it's okay/not a big deal when people make fun of others for their weight, karma will come and bite you. It's NEVER ok to tease someone about their appearance.

Discriminated? Hm... No. I've gotten plenty of comments, though. I'm "skinny", or so they say... But I can't wear much feminine clothing without feeling terrible and self-conscious, so I turn toward less tight clothes that don't show how much I'm... not so fit. >.<

I hate it. I want my old metabolism back!

I weigh 175 pounds, but I look like 150. Really dense muscles, y'know? I've always been lean, even as a kid. So.... no. If it was 175 pounds of fat, yeah, I'd be totally obese.

Yeah a bit,I'm not super skinny but i could stand to gain a bit.

Protip for lightweight people who want to stop people from picking them up: If you keep you base wide when they try to pick you up (just basically sortof keeping your legs apart like a table),it's harder for them to pick you up,and you can further prevent them by actively resisting by shifting your weight. It's hard to describe, but while your doing it you just know what to do.It's worked for me :P.

It's been an issue my entire life, as far back as I can remember.

In Jr. High and High School, I used to swim competitively, would go to practice 5 days a week, 2 hours a day plus ride my bike the 10 miles to the pool and back and didn't lose weight in spite of all of the exercise.

That being said, I have no health issues due to weight (Not diabetic, no high blood pressure, no heart issues) and it's not as if I am constantly eating or eating junk food. (I have people comment all the time on how little I eat).  Doctor has investigated thyroid function but says I am not a candidate for thyroid meds, I simply (as the doc put it) "have the metabolism of a near-dead sloth".  I was always "the fat kid", I was constantly put on diets as a kid, and as I mentioned, I used to do a bunch of exercise and none of it ever made a damn bit of difference. I have also been told I am a very poor candidate for weightloss surgery.

I got bullied and beat up ALL THE TIME In school, I have been snickered at and called horrible names for as long as I can remember, my stepfather MERCILESSLY picked on me and the phrase I hate the most is "You could be so pretty if you were thin".

That being said, I refuse to spend my life obsessing over it and feeling bad about it.  Barring some major illness or very expensive, invasive surgical procedures which I have no desire to undergo, I am what I am and even if other people can't look past it, I am pretty at peace about it.

I don't exactly know, since I have luckily not known that rude kind of people and I don't pay a lot of attention to others but I feel awful about myself sometimes because of my body weight and that kind of lowers my self-esteem, makes me feel more embarrassed about my self and as well stops me sometime from doing things such as being with others.

But I don't think that the fact that you're chubby, thin or normal says anything about you and it's more important what you have inside than outside. I might be overweight or chubby, but I'm content about my life, like my friends and love my family that still likes me (I hope) even though I'm overweight, so I have almost nothing to complain about.

Yes, so much yes.

It didn't really start till middle school, and while it didn't make me feel bad, it certainly got on my nerves. People still make jokes about my weight but I just suck at keeping the weight off. I barely eat, maybe once a day and I have resorted to starving myself on and off to lose weight, which worked, but it didn't really make much of a difference. It's just annoying as hell to see my best friends eating more than what should be humanly possible and gaining nothing but if I eat a few more things here and there, I gain weight immediately. Metabolism sucks. I'm the one shaming myself for my weight while everyone else doesn't really care what's of my weight, Meh, exercise and diets do nothing for me either. But still, discriminating someone because of their weight is just stupid and idiotic, don't judge a person based off their weight, judge them based off of their character.

People never teased me about my weight. I was always normal weight for my height (not too skinny and not too fat). My weight tends to fluctuate here and there, but overall I'm never in the overweight range.

My brother likes to tease me about my weight on occasion, but I allow him to since he was discriminated for his weight when he was younger. He was overweight when he was younger and I remember him coming home from school in tears sometimes because kids would be mean to him  :(.

But now, it's a whole different story. While those bullies stayed short and scrawny, my brother lost a lot of weight and gained tons of muscle. No one picks on him any longer. In fact, people are always staring and admiring his figure  :D. I'm very proud of my brother .
