Who else is in the Wonderbolts' reserve?

It was just a silly joke because of Spitfire`s behavior on Rainbow Falls. And I don`t think it was said that she can`t ever again try to be a Wonderbolt.

I'd actually be surprised if Lightning isn't on the reserves, because dispite her transgressions she is one of the few ponies who can match Rainbow's 16.5 wingpower.

If I had to guess I would say; Thunderlane, 'Bulk Biceps', and Cloudchaser since they were all at the Wonderbolts Academy.

 

I believe Lightning Dust has the potential to be in the reserves if she used her skills as a flier to bribe Spitfire and/or Fleetfoot given their loose morals shown in both 'Wonderbolts Academy' and 'Rainbow Falls' when it comes to competition-especially since Dash's example hadn't stuck the first time.

Well, from what can be seen: Thunderlane, Cloudchaser, Vapor Trail, and Sky Stinger are in the reserves. Outside of that, we can assume a few of the other cadets made it in since some of them appear in the backgrounds of episodes taking place at Wonderbolts HQ. It would be cool if angel wings made it in; that way she could hang out with her favorite ponies in all of Equestria. 

Now thinking about it, we should've gotten to see more from these characters. Oh well.

Same. I feel like the Wonderbolts in general were greatly underused in the series, though at least we do have endless amounts of fanfiction featuring them! 

As for the OP question, I can name Thunderlane for sure because he (like Rainbow Dash) went from being a reserve (as seen in "Wonderbolts Academy") to a full-on Wonderbolt member as seen in the episode "Marks and Recreation". I can also name Vapor Trail and Sky Stinger as being Wonderbolt reserve members because they were seen in the background at the Wonderbolt's HQ in their reserve flight uniforms in the episode "Secrets and Pies".

On that note: issue 81 of the comic had Scootaloo hear the story of Wind Sock, an earth pony who got into the Wonderbolts after inventing some glider thing - in essence, hinting at the possibility of her one day getting in as well.

At this point, it's kind of debatable whether she'd still want to become a Wonderbolt all that badly (or whether that was all about wanting to be like Rainbow Dash for the sake of being like Rainbow Dash), but it's still an idea worthy of exploring, in fanfic if nothing else. You could even get a disability-related moral out of it if you're into that - have her academy partner take a look at her equipment and be like "Holy crip she's a crapple!", and change their tune upon seeing what she's capable of.

Also, "The Last Problem" had a shot of Gallus in the Royal Guard. So as Equestria develops closer ties with the surrounding kingdoms, it's logical to assume that the Wonderbolts might also open their doors to griffons and hippogriffs as well.

She understands the theory, but putting it into practice is another matter altogether (especially for somepony with no love of athletics).

Watching her try out and learn that lesson the hard way would certainly be amusing.
