What Kind Of Dreams Do You Have?

My dreams vary from different subjects and genres. They can be based on the past, present, and sometimes I can even see the future if you'd believe it!

Some dreams are so mundane that they feel real and I can predict how someone would react! While other dreams are so out of the ordinary that I'm aware of that they are.

Many dreams last a few seconds, others entire lifetimes.

I think it's so fascinating how our brains work and that we only use a fraction of our brains throughout our entire lives.

I wonder how dreams would be with 100% brain power?

My dreams are either completely nonsensical, or extremely elaborate and vivid psychological horror-esque trauma nightmares.

The trauma train has eased off more recently in my dreams but when it goes there again it's like my brain becomes some frigging horror director lol

Or they're not horror per se but deeply personal and distressing - in the past I've had multiple occasions where a dream was so nice I became lucid because I realised the dream isn't real bc it sounded too good to be realistically feasible and have had sobbing breakdowns *within* the dreams. Funny how I used to want to train my brain to become lucid in dreams but apparently it does that on its own now with a strong enough emotional trigger sbgksbfkdnfnn

My dreams over the years have a recurring theme, on occasion there will be dreams of post apocalyptic cityscapes reduced to ruin by nuclear holocaust, sometimes it will be plane crashes that I'm involved in, sometimes I'm with someone I know (or someone I used to, where it takes a melancholic hue). Usually has some journey or place we're trying to get to with difficulty. Sometimes all of this can be in the same dream.

I have pretty normal dreams. Some that tell me about the day and it actually happens and others that are so chaotic, I can completely understand it.

My dreams are very weird and incomprehensible, usually it's even hard to describe with words what they are about.

People and places from my past often appear in them, but usually in highly unexpected context.

Honestly I'd be envious of anyone who had that kind of dream.

I'd be happy for them, however I would wish I had good dreams about Princess Luna, even a fictional character can be dreamed about.

I had nightmares about zombies before, perhaps she could banish the zombies, or do something funny like scare them away by using her Royal Canterlot Voice.

Sometimes I dream about and enter in a nonsensical sequence of events, or terrifing nightmares.

But nowadays, I find myself having "fall dreams", and sometimes the fall repeats in the same dream

I dreamt about the cat again. This is the second time. He smiled that cat smile at me and I gave him a hug when he came to the window. It was raining. We watched the rain and he swished his tail as he drifted to sleep. In these dreams, his wound is always healed up. Hopefully, that is how he will return.

Oh wow XD Yesterday, a friend of mine told me they had a dream about me getting in trouble a lot at school which was weird since it was so unlike me. Why are people dreaming about meh

Somewhat apocalyptic, yet I always seem to thrive and flourish in them. Outside of them, they seem to be like crazy parties and events that tap into my interests. Others are like mazes and environments that seem to always promise unlimited possibility and potential. There are also ones with numerous recurring locations. A few from my past. but others I have never been to or experienced.

A lot of the time, when I do dream, i just drean about memories that turn out differently from how I remember them, usually it ends up spiraling. sometimes it's good, sometimes bad, but it's always confusing when I wake up. Takes a minute or two to come to my senses and replay my entire life in my head to confirm my false memories are GONE. Sometimes it makes me existential.

a long time ago i dreamed that i was talking to applejack! it was strange but pleasant dream and it was one of the most beautiful dreams i have ever had!

It's ... it's kind of hard to really say because I have such a mishmash of stuff playing in my head when I sleep.  I dream about work, people I know, people I used to know, places I've been and a lot of the time that happens all in one night.  Sometimes my dream will be a random fiction type, the details of which I don't remember after awakening so I can't transcribe them.
