Another update on MLP McDonald's toys- ponies!

Hello everypony,

 

Another update and some new pics about the toys coming to McDonald's. This story features a pic of EQG Pinkie Pie and also pictures of ponies in the bags- leading to speculation about ponies also being included in the line. I'm not sure exactly how this works out with both EQG and ponies, but the article is below if you're interested.

When do they come out? Do they come out in Fall because that's when EG3 comes out. By the way it's going to look weird having teen/adult males getting the girls toys instead of the boy toys. I wonder how the McDonald's employees will be like when they see bronies getting the toys normally for girls.

I haven't heard of any release date yet, but Fall seems like a reasonable expectation. I guess we'll just have to see.

 

As for McDonald's employees seeing Bronies buying the toys- it's really not inconceivable that an adult would be buying them for a child at home. Still, who knows for sure...  :lol:

Are these available internationally, or do you think they'd be exclusive to certain countries?

As an employee of McDonald's temporarily i have not heard of regional toy's. From my understanding it should be in your area. The only way to properly check is by checking the McDonald's happy meal website and it will automatically load your region so only you can properly tell.

Also the only instance of a different toy as of i know was a toy that was found racist by a certain country on accident and was recalled and replaced and i don't think MLP can offend anyone but hatters.

They thought it was weird to see a 12 year old Pegasister/female brony (me at the time) demand a My Little Pony toy. They considered me "too old" for liking My Little Pony or wanting a Happy Meal toy in general even though I was just 12. I wanted to yell at them "Listen to me Mr, grown up other girls and grown men or teens would demand for this too!" A brony with a Pegasister girlfriend both supported me. Luckily my parents were both in the men and women's bathroom at the time and my mom took longer with my little sister. Or else they'd complain about strangers.

 

Eventfully I got Vinyl Scratch and my little sister later on got Princess Luna (the Rainbow Rocks toys.) :3

Well I figured they would at least let girls of any age have those toys because if I was working there I figured teen/adult girls would want pony toys to relive their childhood or something.

I got Pinkie Pie too! Actually the Pony and EQG versions are both available- you can just specify to the cashier which one you want or get them both at the same time.  :)

Well I just stopped by Mcdonalds and straight up asked them to just buy the toys separately, and sadly all they had was a Pony twilight but I will hunt down the rest.

My store location has them.

We had the pinkie anthro as well but as an employee i can only get 2 a week free.

 

  Blast. The only one I really want is the human Twilight. So far I've gotten pony and human Applejack.  :o

I would honestly want pony applejack over twilight since i could just buy another

I went to a McDonald's today, and they only had toys for that "Home" (I think that's the title) cartoon! What's up with that? 

That's what they had last. Mcdolands is required to get rid of their old stuff before switching to the new stuff to increase profits. Thats one possibility and the other is they did not get their next shipment of food. They get new toys when they order new buns.

At least at The McDonalds I go to they don't give me funny looks like the one I had gone to out of town. Either they know I'm a brony or these are for a sibling or someone. And I actually like how the EQD dolls look like
