Hate to say it but no I likely would not have watched it. Growing older has widened my perception of things, and allowed me to understand that I can like stuff that doesn't fall into the usual categories of what certain people are supposed to like. Had this come out when I was a child I wouldn't have given it a chance simply cause it was My Little Pony and boys don't watch that. That being said I did watch the occasional episode of Sailor Moon growing up when nothing else was on so I might have come across an episode or two.

Personally I find that the whole debacle about her becoming an alicorn was based around the fear that she would outlive her friends. Given that this show is about friendship this left a great deal of fans hurt. Thing is we don't know that her becoming an alicorn does anything more than make her have wings and a title. For this reason, whether the show continued or not, I personally have grown to be fine with the decision. That being said I do agree it definitely seems like a series finale change rather than a seasonal change, but I digress. I believe that once Season 4 does come out people will start to see they were worried for nothing.

I find myself having to correct my statements when I'm talking a lot. Saying 'everypony' instead of everyone, etc. Also I find that I sleep better after watching an episode or two.

I would say Cloud Chaser. My main reason being that obviously she is athletic given what we see of her in Hurricane Fluttershy and Wonderbolt Academy. She seems to like laughing, so she is likely a genuinely happy character too. Also she has a really cool design!

There is a deprogram all recording in the document if you are concerned about negative side effects. Other than that there is also the 'Revert to Normal' trigger phrase that should also work. Hope this helps

There was something a while back about Hasbro pushing the team to make a background pony a main character. When asked about the 6 stars at the con that shall not be named the writers said that must have been added by Jason Theeison in post production. While Twi becoming an alicorn possibly screws with the 2,2,2 balance (unless you follow the belief that Alicorns are simply a higher level of unicorn which Hearthswarming and Magic duel do kinda hint towards) bringing in a new character would only work if the character had retroactive appeal. For this reason I always felt the additional character, likely being a unicorn, would be Trixie. Outside of the Princesses and the CMC she has a really high following. While Derpy is a popular character they would likely avoid her to avoid further issues, besides the where's waldo scenes with her are quite fun. Now as to this Sunset Shimmer character. The fact remains that the only thing the character has going for her as evidence is her mask. However, I would like to point out that as some others have stated she seems more akin to a villain/antagonist than a main character. For that reason I return back to my addition of Trixie as a 7th cast member. She has retroactive episodes with several mentions in the eps she does not appear in. She also serves as a potential magic replacement if Twilight ascends for some reason beyond the elements (this I find highly dubious). Her episodes do cleanly represent a transition from antagonist to understandable and another ep or two could ease that into friend. For this reason I give my thoughts on her potential element, Forgiveness. Forgiveness isn't something that one acquires as easily as the other elements. You have to be with someone for a longer time for it to show. Now while all this about Trixie is just spitballing theories I tie this back into the discussion so as to explain my tangent. If a recurring antagonist like Trixie becomes a 'good'/main character, you need to have a replacement rival in magic for Twilight. That is where I would see this Sunset character coming into the mix. Also keep in mind that Season 4 has also likely already been written with them in the process of working on Season 5 now. If this character is going to be introduced in a movie or later season than Meghan didn't lie, but you also misinterpreted what she said. The question asked was 'Will she be in Season 4?' Meghan responded 'Nope'. This does not exclude possible later seasons or the rumored movie that has been floating around.

Hey but AppleJack sure can count though. 1,2,3,4... That being said it says a great deal about the talent when the majority of the popular songs are the ones that all 6 participate in. To be honest, in all of those I never had a part in the song where I was annoyed. I have however had issues like that with some of the individual ones.

I can haz luna?! I CAN HAZ LUNA!!! YAY!! or maybe scootaloo, twilight?! ARGH I CAN"T DECIDE!!! Can I have my own little equestria? Yes I believe that would work out best for all ponies involved. Just have a magical gateway to adorable awesome ponies that can talk and do stuff!

Sadly Fluttershy and Dash have not gotten any real solo songs. I don't count so many wonders just as I don't count cranky doodle donkey as a real song either. Personally I love Dash's singing voice but we have yet to get to hear more of it beyond single verses. Sure we had Find a Pet which was great but I want something more. So for that I had to go with Twilight as she sings basically all my favorite songs from the show.

I consider episods like Sisterhooves Social and Sleepless in Ponyville to be character focused rather than CMC episodes. If you don't count them then I would definitely say that my favorite was either Cutie Mark Chronicles because of the history, or Show Stoppers as you got to truly see what their real talents are even if they couldn't.

Basically the main things that are keeping Nick afloat are the Avatar series. Which bugs me that Korra still hasn't officially announced its start date for the second half of the first season. Hoping that it is during the pony drought so as to give me some entertainment over the next 9 months that isn't simply rewatching old episodes of shows I've already seen.

I would have to say that what I have in common with AJ would be a strong connection to my family. Even though we don't see eye to eye at times, and my father and I don't get along at all, we still care for one another. That and I am a southerner, though not country which I tend to associate with AJ rather than true southern.

Well in all likelihood we will find that like most multigenerational shows that they will keep trying to capture the magic of the most popular generation, for MLP it is without a doubt Gen 4, for GI Joe and Transformers this was Gen 1, for Star Wars it was the original trilogy, etc etc. The staying power of a fandom is based solely on its fans, not the object the fandom forms around. For this reason it is believable that this fandom is here to stay like many others. John De Lancie has often compared the fandom in this show to that of Star Trek which still has a huge following almost 40+ years afer the end of the original series that still watches it. The fact is that the writing and the animation are what keep us here, even when Hasbro decides to end this Generation (which won't happen for a LONG TIME given that it has brought them back from bankruptcy) they will keep the fans in mind for the next one so that they can keep the steady milkable income. Once a fandom forms the company that controls the object being followed will almost assuredly follow the fandom with great interest. What I am getting at is that this fandom will stay as long as we want it to. We are in control of this not Hasbro, and they know it. The complaints of pandering is a sign that Hasbro KNOWS we are its 'bread and butter' as Diamond Tiara would say. So as long as we continue to enjoy the show and actively participate the fandom can go on.

As an update, I tried Twilight last night. I got through the whole thing but the biggest feeling I got out of it was that my arms felt tingly and I had issues moving my fingers. I have tried the trigger phrase with little to no avail thus far, but as everyone on here has more or less said it generally takes multiple times before you get the full effect. However, the tingly feeling seems like a good start.

Pretty much this. The fact remains that even with mods and such we will never get to see Fighting is Magic. What we are getting is more akin to a spiritual sequel with the obvious exception of never having seen the original. It is this fact that saddens me the most. I have faith they are going to make a great game and it was AWESOME of Lauren Faust to be so willing to jump in and help them. However, it is not going to be the same game in the end, but I will still give it a try in honor of their efforts. My biggest problem is I am not a huge fan of fighting games and ponies were the draw for this one. Kicking flank as Twilight and others was what I was looking forward to. Oh well we live and learn and move on...

Well assuming you did what would be your preferences? This is all more or less hypothetical anyway . I just like the idea of a community getting together on such a level. It's what I really liked about the episode the most.

I hope you enjoy the game. I've always had a hard time getting into it due to the tiny time limits, but to each their own! Good luck on the job hunt! I'm right there with ya so I know what you are going through while looking! Monster hunter is a game about hunting various species and using their hides and such to create better gear. There is very little story to speak of and it uses a very episodic nature to the hunts. The problem I had with the series is the strictly enforced time limit to the hunts which I felt drained most of the fun for me, but to each their own.
