  1. I mean it's always after midnight where you are. Except when it's exactly midnight.
  2. Doesn't it depress you to know that you have to work for your whole life?
  3. Between when the sun sets and when it rises. Especially when all the daywalkers are asleep. Like I say when I watch Gremlins, it's technically ALWAYS after midnight.
  4. Yeah, pretty well. But I haven't done it in a while so I may be out of practice.
  5. What dies everybody think the "saucepan" song means? Am I missing something obvious?
  6. I've never played a Five Nights at Freddy's game but I've seen the movie and plenty of stuff online and a creepy haunted Chuck E Cheese sounds awesome.
  7. Calcifer is a cool character. In the movie he's cute. In the book I get the feeling he's actually intimidating looking.
  8. The future's so bright I gotta wear night vision goggles.
  9. That's what I was gonna say. Also Quark's from DS9. (trying to think of things that would be unique, not just fictional versions of real restaurants...) From MLP Hayburger Sugarcube Corner Donut Joe's
  10. "I am never lonely, Galahad. Or rather I never suffer from loneliness. I suffer much from the idea that my loneliness might be taken away from me by a lot of mercilessly well meaning people." - Leonora Carrington in The Hearing Trumpet
  11. Wednesday has so many great lines. "I don't evolve, I cocoon." "I liked it better when I was feared and hated."
  12. Well I read a lot and I have time off work now so I just finished it. I'll look back at the chapters when it's time. In the book the castle just kind of hovers along but I like the walking steampunk castle in the movie a lot.
  13. I liked it a lot. Don't want to give away any spoilers. I'm gonna watch the Ghibli movie tonight. It's been a while and I want to compare.
  14. Bob's Burgers (The latest episode, not this one.)
  15. I still haven't seen that. I'm so used to the Anthony Hopkins trilogy it will seem weird when I finally do.
  16. I really still don't understand exactly what makes a furry. Other than the fursuits I think I could probably agree with them about most everything. That looks incredibly uncomfortable and I just don't understand how it could be enjoyable. But it's their life and they have every right to do it if they want. I don't understand why otherwise sane women wear high heels either.
  17. I was thinking: Of course somebody beat me to it:
  18. Yeah, exactly. I hate when threats, ultimatums, and commands are dressed up in flowery language about how great it will be and how much you will love it. OR ELSE!
  19. Oops, sorry. Anyway, I totally blew by the first paragraph that Fanny was a stepmother. I doubt she's totally evil, she probably just takes Sophie for granted. The book seems to be about Sophie learning to stand up for herself. It's been a while since I watched the Ghibli movie but I'm remembering a lot of things.
  20. Yeah, it was funny hoe Lettie and Martha switched. But I think the story will just follow Sophie from now on. And the mother's kind of the villain.
