I have an episode idea that came into my head all of sudden. And you can thank the Season 2 episode: Putting your Hoof Down, plus the Season 7 episode: Once Upon a Zeppelin. The episode idea involves Iron Will taking up an Alex Jones-like role, sending out lies to the good folks of Equestria on how much of a tyrant Princess Celestia is. Most of the ponies end up believing the lies and it causes a commotion for Princess Celestia. Iron Will then scams her into buying a self-help book on being more courteous. And while it made Celestia friendlier, it also made her more of a shirking violet, which caused alot of concern for her allies(Ember, PRince Rutherford, Thorax and Novo) as well as Twilight Sparkle, Starlight Glimmer, and Pinkie Pie. The tipping point is reached when Iron Will does a report showcasing on how weak Celestia really is, and even rubs it in on the number of times she was beaten by the likes of Tempest Shadow, Queen Chrysalis and even Lord Tirek. This causes Celestia to break down crying over her failures. While Twilight and Starlight go to comfort Celestia, Pinkie Pie pulls a Bugs Bunny and tricks Iron Will into saying some really stupid things on air. This makes him the joke of Equestria, and it's all topped off when he falls into one of Celestia's over-complicated traps to further the humiliation. It's just something that just popped in my head, recently. What do you all think?

Just what is the best MLP:FiM Figure ever?

Now folks, I'm doing a poll based on villains. Mainly My Little Pony. But you'll find that I put in a 3rd villain from the Star Wars franchise just for fun. Anyway, here are our entries. 1) The Pony of Shadows: While his form was indeed scary, he was rarely used and didn't do a whole lot to the Mane 6 or the Pillar 6 in Present time. Some say he had as much screen time as Nightmare Moon during the Series Premier: Friendship is Magic Part 1 and 2. In the end, he was banished back to the void, but without Stygian. 2) The Storm King: We barely saw this guy in the early part of the film. He doesn't show up till way later, and he is not as powerful as many other villains like Nightmare Moon, Chrysalis and Tirek. He ultimately double crossed his second-in-command Tempest Shadow, only to meet his end courtesy of an Obsidian Orb meant for Twilight. 3) Supreme Leader Snoke: The Star Wars villain. He was brutal and intimidating. And while he did torment Rey, he was brought down by his student Kylo Ren, who slashed him in half just so he could take over the First Order. So out of these three: Who came out ahead? Vote and find out.

Characters are enabling Starlight's actions

I've collected alot of My Little Pony figures throughout the decade. I was lucky to get some great ones(Especially a personal favorite of mine: the SDCC 2012 Derpy Hooves). But I wonder. In your personal view, what would be considered the BEST My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Figure EVER? One that is worth the space in your collection.

This is a small tribute sketch I did of SPike the Dragon as a Ronin Warrior, similar to the legend known as Miyamoto Musashi Also doubles as a shout out to Stan Sakai's Usagi Yojimbo franchise.

BAsed on Last MOnth's Splatfest. I tried to get around to doing it, but I got tied up with other stuff. Well, better late than never P.S.: Who should be the Action Queen: Bon Bon/Sweetie Drops, or Tempest Shadow?

It's possible to create a Complete Monster in a villain without resorting to violence. As I stated, Chrysalis was the one villain that came close to being a Complete Monster with what she did to starve off her minions for her own personal gain, how far she would go to kill off a traitor like Thorax, and the way she treated Starlight Glimmer during her fight.

A Complete Monster, according to TV Tropes, is a villain with no redeeming qualities. All the negative qualifications of this villain, with none of the positives. A completely terrible being that evokes fear, revulsion and hatred from other characters, and are completely devoid of altruistic qualities. Examples of Complete Monsters include: Tirek from the G1 My Little Pony special: Rescue at Midnight Castle(His G4 variation is nowhere near as horrible as his G1 counterpart) EMperor Sheev Palpaine from the Star Wars franchise(Grand Moff Tarkin is also a proud example of being a Complete Monster as well) Judge Claude Frollo of The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Scar from the Lion King(to serve as my only Disney examples) There are only a few Megatrons who exhibit this trope. But the Megatron from Beast Wars revels in it. And of course, Frieza from Dragon Ball Z. But if anything, the current generation of My Little Pony does not show any signs of a true Complete Monster. Equestria Girls doesn't truly have a complete monster ether(Abacus Cinch was more like Lady Tremaine from Cinderella). Even the movie villains had no signs of being Complete Monster. The closest we got was And on that note, do you think that Complete Monsters should belong in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, or any future variations of My Little Pony? Or is it too much for the audience to handle: A Villain with no redeeming features in a franchise where redemption is apart of its message.

2018: More MY Little Pony Content than Any Year Ever.
SaburoDaimando posted a blog entry in The Blog of a Bronicorn
As you are aware, this year is the 35th Anniversary of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. But what's really surprising is that there will be tons of content coming out when it comes to the franchise. So far, it's confirmed that one of the Equestria Girls Youtube specials will be due out next month based on the "Friendship to Remember" book. But it doesn't look like Hasbro is gonna slow down, especially with the 2017 Movie out on DVD and Blu-Ray. We know Season 8 is going to be Yuge, I mean Huge with the Friendship School as the theme, not to mention the return of Queen Chrysalis as well as another familiar foe. But it seems we're not gonna end there. There's going to be more Equestria Girls specials this year following the Friendship to Remember adaption. And there's rumors of a But if you ask me, it seems Hasbro and the gang are pulling out all the stops for the big 35th Anniversary of My Little Pony. Never have I seen so much content come out involving this franchise. I feel as if this will be the BIGGEST year of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. And when the year is over, I'm most likely to welcome the hiatus and take a good long break. As for me and my artwork, I am going to double down on it. So far, I have released two drawings: One of Trixie and one of Starlight Glimmer. A future drawing idea would include Starlight and Trixie enjoying some time in a hot tea bath, with a future Lord Tirek drawing I may consider. Question is: What to put Tirek in? -

Even before being a Brony, I never considered myself a Libertarian. Hell, I'm not very strong on Libertarian ideas, ever since I learned about the fall of the Articles of Confederation. If anyone wants to ask, that was the US Government prior to the US Constitution. It focused more on States Rights while the constitution made a more centralized government. But what made it fail were trade wars, the states in heavy debt, too many State-based currencies, and the Shay's Rebellion.

Not so sure. I sure as hell not conservative. But ironically, I do see My Little Pony, especially the current series, as being diverse in a way. We're seeing more of the non-base Pony races in Equestria: Dragons, Changelings, Griffins, Hippogriffs, Yaks, etc. And sometimes, I really wanna see more of these other races interact with the other variations of Ponies. Edit: And on a side note, I think most of the cast and crew of My Little Pony are more left-leaning. Even original show runner Lauren Faust was more like that.

Instead of just Blueblood and Big Mac, I also recorded for Snails, a Chrysalis-Era Changeling, and Lord Tirek Anyway, here it is. Enjoy: http://www.mediafire.com/file/ckbjj878eqdubht/Daimando's_MLP_Audition.rar

Funny thing is, judging by the upvotes I'm getting at Derpibooru, I may be doing a bit more Starlight Glimmer drawings. One idea in the future is Starlight and Trixie having a hot tea bath.

What's this? Two Drawings in two different days in a row? Anyway, this was inspired by my trip to the San Diego Zoo back in November, where I encountered a Panda eating bamboo. I took some pictures and did a sketch. But I also felt like drawing Starlight Glimmer eating Bamboo. So here ya go.
