  1. Clowncore is definitely one of the bands of all time. And for some reason every time I listen to them, it always ends up being non-stop on repeat for weeks Something about their style really gets stuck in my head like nothing else and this 1234 EP specifically I'm REALLY digging right now!
  2. Jalapenos for sure, especially the pickled kind! I used to always have a jar in the house. Nowadays I mostly eat them when I get a kebab or a pizza or something, still as delicious as ever though! Jalapeno Tobasco sauce is also insanely delicious
  3. Probably not very, I don't think I was ever super well known but I did do a bit of shitposting back in the day which would occasionally draw a fair bit of attention so maybe there was a period where I was somewhat recognized but I've never been a forum celebrity so to speak.
  4. Does anyone know what the optimal dimensions for profile banners are here both in the shrunk and extended view?

Hmm, and it looks perfect on my phone as well, I see the bottom text at the bottom, with no unused space, nor anything awkward. :darling:

Now I kinda wonder if they made these banners on mobile have a more fixed displayed dimensions or if it's a coincidence, that it looks the same for us. At least back then it was absolutely all over the place, as each mobile device saw different things and 1310x597 would be okay for some, but too short for others. If I recall correctly, on smaller displays the banner could be shaped even almost like a square, hence why I made green box + yellow box equal to 1:1 aspect ratio. :darling:

I'll totally have to take a closer look at these banners again.

Ohh I see, that's interesting. That would definitely make banner design awkward. :please: Fingers crossed it's fixed now :yay:

You'll have to keep me updated when you do! :D

Yeah the inconsistency was really bad to work with, let's hope it's better now. :P

      Sure.

  5. This is an interesting theory, I don't think that I would necessarily agree exactly, I can sort of understand your train of though here though. I have a fair bit I would love to add to this topic but unfortunately I do not have the time right now to elaborate since it is rapidly approaching the end of the night where I live and bed is very much on the horizon. But I do intend on posting a much more extensive reply to this thread later though when I have the time to do so
  6. Me! I have a very strong interest in Magick, Mysticism, Religion, Occult Philosophy and general Esotericism as well as the more scientificly grounded side of things such as depth psychology and psychosystems analysis (honestly there's a pretty good argument to be made that a good way to think about magick is as 'metaphorical psychology'). In fact this stuff has quickly skyrocketed to one of my biggest interests in recent years. I've been on and off studying the theoretical side of things including different magickal systems and their associated philosophical frameworks on and off for the good part of the last 2-3 years, especially those of the Western mystery tradition such as Qabalah and Enochian Magick, and for what has essentially been cobbled together book learning, I feel like I've started to develop a pretty sophisticated understanding of at least the overarching theoretical and philosophical concepts which underpin all of this stuff, at least for someone who has only had a handful of serious spiritual experiences within my life so far. As far as practical magick, I am still very much a beginner having only begun to really experiment with some basic ritual and meditation over the past couple of months. It is something that I definitely plan to follow through seriously long term though as one of my primary pursuits, at least until the universe tells me otherwise
  7. Showering, getting ready for an early night so I can make an appointment without running empty.
  8. Thinking about starting up a music/musical philosophy blog one my hands are feeling a bit better.

Both for those who might be interested and also for me to fully think through some ideas. :dash:

  9. Not sure what I was expecting but this is awesome! Love the energy and the production quality is great. You did this all by yourself?
  10. Does anyone know if we have any ETA on when the blank status and unresponsive post count rank bugs will be fixed? Couldn't see anything addressing it in the throne room.

Well, not that I'm aware of it either. Most likely @Rikifive could tell you

Sadly, I have no clue either, and the lack of any updates regarding this bothers me just like everyone else. :c

  11. Welcome to the herd Ponyyo! If I could have any supernatural power it would probably have to be the ability to fully understand the structure of sound and music as we experience it. I can imagine you could make some truly beautiful music with an ability like that~
  12. This was an amazing set. Thank you for the experience! While I'm here...WAR!
  13. Probably putting off doing laundry until the last minute or letting recycling pile up
  14. I personally tend to prefer listening to DJ Sets/Mixes as I find the transitions between songs and the live mashups/edits to often be my favourite part of the experience. Especially as a Techno/Tech House listener where the DJs don't usually MC over the set. When it comes to less progressive genres like DnB, Dub, and the like I will usually prefer to listen to individual songs over sets though.
  15. I don't think the pursuit of money is what I derive meaning from so I think financial freedom could afford me further happiness if it meant I was more free to pursue the things I find truly meaningful.
  16. I've recently started playing GTA online again with a friend and have been enjoying it immensely. It feels like our teenage years all over again and it's funny to see how much the way we play games has changed since then.
  17. Maybe sleeping without my usual crutch won't be so bad after all
  18. I know a couple of people who recently went through this journey after having very similar feelings to this (one of whom being my sister), and they both have told me that it was one of the most important and rewarding things they ever did. Wishing you all the best
  19. I feel like there is some things currently going on in my life that I could complain about; but overall with all things considered, I'm feeling pretty good
  20. This came out looking really cool! It almost looks more like an OC than pinkie herself. This could actually be an awesome way of generating ideas for OC's if one's artistic skills aren't great.
  21. No song in particular, but I am currently getting right into the sound of Dub Techno. It's been amazing background music for work and also for encouraging my creativity.
  22. Probably either Tim Heidecker's 'On Cinema at the Cinema' or 'The Midnight Gosphel' although I would probably consider the later more Esoteric than Weird. Sam Hyde's 'Million Dollar Extreme' also seems like a pretty weird show although I have only seen clips, never the show itself.
  23. Graphic Design would be really cool! Do you know what type of clients you would primarily like to focus on?
  24. For those of us who are attempting to focus their attention on long term careers and/or specialisation. What are you working towards? Where are you now and what is the next step in your plan? For me I am trying to stride towards a position as a Business/Data analyst. Within the office environment I work in I've managed to work my way up into a place where it is relativley possible for me to move across into an entry level business analyst position. My current goal is to work on my discipline so I can commit to educating myself in the correct areas to be a potential candidate for this position. I'd love to hear what everyone else might be working in this area, be you an Artist/Musician, Business/Medical Aspirant, athlete or anything in between
  25. Probably physics. Always found it super interesting but I didn't have the discipline, nor the maturity to learn and memorise the equations.
