  1. I'm going!! I'm driving from Wisconsin in my conversion van and picking up people along the way(Already have 3 people including me). Heres my rideshare thread if you're looking for a ride or have room to give a ride LINK There is also a meet-up thread going LINK if you want to meet-up with others from the forum. Can't wait to see everyone there!
  2. I would start with the new series (2005), thats what I did when I got into the show. if you ever feel like "What is going on, I don't get it" just keep watching as a future episode will most likely explain the past situation. As for this topic, YES! Love these two fandoms so much, both have great followings and are great shows For the Doctor Whooves fans make sure you read this comic, it's long and awesome!
  3. I have a 2007 VW Rabbit 3 door hatchback (Stock Image, same color) It has been my daily driver since I got it in December of 2006, it's a stick, and it has just under 50k miles on it. It's fun to drive and you wouldn't believe the stuff I've hauled inside that thing (Washing machine, kitchen table, 18ft pool, 800lbs of tile, etc) I'm currently looking to pick up a 2nd car as a hobby car soon!
  4. Well just thought I would give an update, I still have 4 spots open in my van. I updated the original post with a route map and a time schedule, if you are going to the con and live near the route and need a ride or just want to convoy along that would be great! I also have a person in Virginia that has 3 spots open for a rideshare, if anyone in VA needs a lift let me know and I'll get you in contact with them. Time to get everything planned as there is less than 100 days to Bronycon, WooHoo!
  5. MLP-MSP June 6-8th Minneapolis, MN Just wanted to see who is thinking of going to this convention in Minneapolis. It looks to have a good guest list and venue but I'm not sure how big the draw will be for it. Here is a link to their site MLP-MSP I plan on going but I just need to secure my time off with work which I'll find out in the next few weeks. If anyone wants to do a room share I'm in the hunt for a roomie!
  6. How is MLP-MSP coming along? I plan on going (Located in Appleton, WI) and I'm really impressed with the guest list that was put together for the con. Also a helpful hint, should rename this thread MLP-MSP so it's easier to find, just want to make sure you get the best turnout possible. I just started checking out your Facebook and Twitter pages and I'm glad I found this con so close to home! As for everyone else, who plans on going? I believe the deal for the free suite room is still open if we can get 10 people together. If anyone is interested message me or post it on here. See you all in Minneapolis!
  7. The Grand Illusion, by Styx, is a song I need to listen to from time to time. The message is right in the lyrics. Another song I like is You Can't Always Get What You Want
  8. Dan Harmon's new cartoon Rick and Morty, typical adult swim stuff but it has some very clever writing. If you like the comedy of Community you'll like this show.
  9. waiting for the lunar eclipse to start

  10. Packing for my trip to Minneapolis tomorrow, how the hotel has free Wifi!

  11. Wow, I fell for the April fools joke on Cheezbuger http://cheezburger.com/8130076928#comments

  12. Just watched the series finale of HIMYM, many feels were had

  13. Well, I plan on bringing my GoPro and capturing footage on my drive from Wisconsin to Baltimore so I could just bring that along (Initiate hemet cam!). If everything goes as I hope I will have a new camera to bring to the con, well not new but different I guess, so if all goes as planned I bring that too. As for the wrestling video, would you mind elaborating on it as I don't watch wrestling but I'm interested in making a video clip.
  14. If anyone is interested they are still looking for volunteers for this years con. You need to be 18 but you get a free badge to the con, Link to their page.
  15. I'll try to avoid the common pet peeves, such as bad drivers, and find things that make me completely flip my lid. Ranked most annoying at the top: 1. When I use a line of code for something and it works the first try but not the second time without making any changes 2. Poorly designed items that I have to assemble 3. Slow computers
  16. I have been following the whole thing but didn't know it was due to him making money off his videos. In that case I agree with you, while it still may suck they had to protect their copyright.
  17. Here is a photo of me (On left) with a Discord cosplayer from Kitsune Kon, a local anime convention that I went to last week. Had a blast there and got a few brohoofs for the Dr.Whooves shirt!
  18. Going to a local anime convention tomorrow, found out that they are having a few sessions on MLP! Maybe I'll finnaly find some local bronies!

  19. There are a few people coming from Durham, Maine and somewhere mid state Maine that are driving down that are willing to pick up people along the way. Don't know their route but I could get you their info if you would like.
  20. Preparing for Titanfall! Time to waste away my spring break

  21. Here is a pic of me from my trip to Boston from NACA. Sorry for the blurry photo, low light and bad camera phone. And yes BOWTIES ARE COOL!
  22. Can't believe no one said Seth Green yet! Could be luna's gamer buddy! Some other ones I'd like to see would be: Stephen Colbert (Rainbow Dash's dad) Betty White (Pinkie's Grandma) Robin Williams (Pinkie's Uncle) Bryan Cranston (Fluttershy's dad, more Hal than Walter) Definitely like the idea of having David Tennant (Or Matt Smith), Adam and Jamie(Mythbusters), Jennifer Lawrence, and Sir Patrick Stewart.
  23. i just got done going over a rough draft of the schedule for the convoy, let me know what you think. As of now I was calculating the time for the trip and here is what I have at the moment: I will be leaving from Crivitz, WI (On vacation up there that week) 12:00 am 7/31 I have a group of people that I am planning on meeting up with around the Chicago area and I plan on arranging that around 5 am (7/31) and I'm adding 30 min to the schedule for delays/load time. The next stop would be in Indiana (Either Fort Wayne or Indianapolis, waiting on a response from someone) around 8:30, with another 30 min for delay'load time. Then I planned to stop just outside of Columbus, Ohio for lunch. I found a nice area that has a few food selections just off the highway. lunch from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm. Then it will be about a 3 hour drive with a stop planned in Uniontown, PA which has some decent food options. Arrive in Uniontown 3:45 pm and leave by 4 pm After a short stop there (15 min) it is the final leg of the journey and we arrive in Baltimore around 7:15 pm. Now these time are not set in stone yet as I haven't confirmed meeting time with everyone and I do understand that there will need to be stops for fuel and bathroom breaks. I have added a little time into each stop to plan for this. I will also have walkies for communication between the cars. I hope you this is helpful! On another note, I still have 4 available spots with 2 on hold so If you are still looking for a ride let me know! You get to ride in an awesome High-top conversion van with leather seats and a TV! Also I'll have lots of snacks and drinks aboard for the trip.
  24. Curse you CS2, I can't believe how addicting you are! http://futzi01.deviantart.com/art/Canterlot-Siege-2-409853402

    1. SCS

      SCS

Dude, I love that game. Played it a ton earlier today.

  25. I'm in! Sounds like a fun way to meet some of the faces on here. I'll be arriving in Baltimore Thursday night (The 31st around 6pm) and as for a place to meet I don't know the area that well so I am going to just suggest M & S Grill right on the bay although part of me really wants to suggest Luna del sea simply because best princess. :comeatus: Can't wait!
