    Not to be offensive, but I feel like I remember Google coming under fire a couple of weeks ago for not having enough women in the Google Doodles. I think this is a response to that.

    It actually isn't that hard, although it is probably impossible if the computer is shared with others. I don't own any brony merchandise or have any brony wallpapers on my computer/phone. I wonder how people can pull off having brony stuff without revealing it, unless they live alone. I have been considering dropping subtle references to start searching for bronies. However, if I found bronies in that way, they may end up revealing that I am a brony in public. That would be bad.

    I have successfully identified half a dozen, although I am friends with none and would prefer to keep my distance from them. However, it is not out of the question that one or two of my friends are closet bronies, like I am. I have not been able to confirm my suspicions, which would be almost impossible to accomplish without telling my friends that I am a brony. Given that all of my friends and most students in general are avid anti-bronies (or at least act like it), it would be a bad choice to reveal that I'm a brony.

    I may actually be better at detecting bronies than I was a week ago, but I can't confirm it because I don't want to blow my cover. References are very rare (if any) from where I'm from, so it can be tough. I wish I was much better at it, but I just don't want to risk being known as a brony since it is highly stigmatized and I am not aware of friends that are bronies. It would be so awesome if I could detect a brony only by clothing, personality, or some other quickly noticeable trait.
