  1. She's either going to go full villian or get some kind of redemption arc. I hope it's the latter because I liked her better when she was more morally grey, but it's probably the former because Blizzard loves making bosses out of former heroes.
  2. They were going to do more with her in cata, with a raid in Vash'ir and everything, but they ran out of time and scrapped it. That's why you never find out what happens to Neptulon It's about time for a troll expansion, they've been in damn near every single one by now. I can see it now, the first raid is Zul Zul
  3. Snakes. Why'd it have to be snakes?
  4. I think its going to be a really crucial expansion for them. Lots of people we're unsatisfied with WoD, they've lost like 5 million subs since it released. WoD had the least amount of content out of any xpac, yet they have the most amount of people on their team as they've ever had. So, my hope is that they're using all those guys to really pull out all the stops with this next one. They need something spectacular to stop hemorrhaging subs. I don't want WoW to die, but they need to step it up. I mean, I'm going to buy the expansion anyway because I'm far too invested in that world, but I want it to be able to hold me longer than WoD did.
  5. Who's excited for the expansion announcement tomorrow? I'm honestly shocked that it hasn't leaked yet. Ever since Cata I feel like I found out what expansion it was going to be before it was official.
  6. I will rarely listen to talk radio. For music, plugging in my Iphone is a better option as I don't have to deal with ads. Works nicely for podcasts too. Just doesn't seem like there's a point to regular radio anymore. There are now options that allow me to listen to whatever I want without interruption.
  7. Truthfully, the only thing I care about is the WoW expansion announcement on Thursday. I feel like I got my announcement hype out of the way with E3.
  8. The Youtube comments section is not exactly a bastion of discussion and discourse. It's not just MLP. People are willing to fight over just about anything in a low stakes, anonymous environment. Just don't take anything you see there seriously. It honestly matters very little what gets said there.
  9. Eh, its the ideal male form from the eyes of a child. It's bound to look somewhat silly. It's kinda the point.
  10. Walking out of a Japanese buffet and notice that it got a B rating by the health inspector. I'm going to regret this, arn't I?

    1. King Sejong

      King Sejong

Perhaps, I got sick from eating from a second rate Chinese buffet, mostly vomit and bloating.

  11. I had that happen to me one time. I was at school, wearing the only pony shirt that I own (an Applejack shirt). On my way to class, I walked passed a guy who was also wearing an Applejack shirt. We shared a respectful nod of approval and went on our way. It was pretty neat.
  12. She's said before that her inspiration for the show was the stories she made up when she played with her pony toys as a kid. Whether religion has anything to do with it, she hasn't said. I think not, as religion hasn't even being mentioned in the show before.
  13. I think looking up to and trying to imitate a certain gender is a mistake. It implies that one is better than the other. Instead, we should look up to people. It's the individual that matters. While both genders tend to think in somewhat different ways, what matters is what they actually do, and I don't think that should be defined by what gender they are.
  14. Sure. The fandom is made of up people, and sometimes people do things worthy of criticism. God knows the pony fandom isn't perfect. We generate our own drama all the time. The problem is that people often criticize us simply because we exist, which is dumb.
  15. So, I was really curious what you guys thought of this one. I apologize if there is already a thread for this, but I couldn't fine one. "Ponyville is attacked by sentient apples" is probably the dumbest premise for a story I have ever heard. None of it makes sense. At the same time, its so absurd that I'm having a really good time with it. It was stupid, but it was a lot of fun. I actually enjoyed it, which is more than I can say for some of the main series' recent stories. As long as you don't take it seriously, I think it's pretty solid.
  16. I only just read this because I'm a bit behind, but I was really pleased with it. I was expecting it to be mostly about bullying, but they turned it around into "you don't have to be the shining star to be a great person", which I thought was neat. I'm coming to like that artist, too. Didn't like it at first, but its growing on my pretty strongly.
  17. Damn son, that sounds great. I hope it turns out good
  18. Call J.G. Wentworth, 877-Cash now Thats right, I remembered that stupid song
  19. I consider Sunset Shimmer to be the best thing about Equestria Girls. I like her a lot. That said, MLP would have continued without her. It started just fine without her. She did not make FIM happen. Its weird that you say that season one couldn't have happened without Sunset when it literally did happen, as Sunset as a character didn't exist yet when they were making it. It's nice that they made her fit in to the backstory, but they didn't need her.
  20. I always like to name my guys. I don't name' my dogs "Dog", so it makes sense to me to name them.
  21. Swat Kats is the first thing that comes to mind. Furry characters is somewhat out of style these days. I think most of them are going to be in older cartoons.
  22. Little of both. I typically just sit back and enjoy it (or not, if its not a good episode). If something strikes me as particularly interesting, I can dig a little deeper. I enjoy world building and growing characters, but trying to find all the flaws just kills the fun for me. I feel like I enjoy a few episodes that lots of people dislike as a result. (Trade Ya and Rainbow Falls comes to mind) I've never felt the desire to really go in an analyze the episodes like a lot of people do. It's just not my thing.
  23. I know exactly why I watch. I watch because it's a show that I enjoy.
