    Ooh, almost forgot to vote today. Looks like I went with the majority again, voting for Sweetie Belle, Luna, Applejack and Zecora. The toughest vote out of the 4 matchups was definitely the last one, as both Zecora and Chrysalis are very unique characters. I had to give the slight edge to Zecora though as she's a bit more entertaining of a character, and someone I wish we got to see more often.

    Hard to believe we're 2/3rds of the way through the group stage already! I went with the majority in voting for both Big Mac and Spike, but went against the grain a bit in voting for Princess Cadance over Rainbow Dash. I still prefer RD of the two, but I'd like to see Cadance be the other pony to make it out of Group H (no offense to Spike), so hopefully the extra vote will help her if it comes down to a points tie-breaker.

    Hmm, it seems like I've been voting with the majority these past few days, with today being no different, as I voted for Twilight, Vinyl Scratch and Discord. Actually, I think today was the first day of matchups where I didn't have to think too hard about my selections. I mean, I guess I don't mind Lyra, but it's hard to vote against the embodiment of chaos!

    Looks like I'm going with the popular opinion again in today's matchups, as I voted for Princess Celestia, Rarity and Derpy. The only matchup that I actually had to think about was Derpy vs. Spitfire, as I do like both characters. It's tough to vote against Derpy though, even if she's stuck in a more reduced role than I (and I'm sure many others) would like.

    The first two matchups today were easy votes for me, and I seem to be following the majority again with Fluttershy and Applebloom. The other vote was hard for me, as it pitted my favorite member of the CMC against my second favorite of the Mane 6. I originally voted for Pinkie Pie, but I actually switched my vote to Scootaloo after a bit of thought. While I think I slightly prefer Pinkie, I'd like to see Scootaloo be the other pony that makes it out of this group, so even if she doesn't win this matchup, at least the vote difference will be a little less than it could have been.

    The second and third matchup today were pretty easy for me, and I seem to be with the majority in voting for Applejack and Chrysalis. Again, it's hard to vote against members of the Mane 6, and Mayor Mare just isn't a strong enough supporting character in my eyes to get a vote over Queen Chrysalis. As for the other match, I was basically 50/50 with my decision, and looking at the other votes right now (49/52), I guess I'm not alone. Ultimately, I went with Shining Armor, but if draws were a voting option here similar to the real World Cup, I'd have probably gone with that.

    My first two votes in these matchups went to Rainbow Dash and Princess Cadance, both of who I expect will win their matches quite easily (which is unfortunate for Spike, as I'd like to see him do well overall). My other vote went to Sweetie Belle. I'm not much of a Luna fan, and while I'm not the biggest fan of Sweetie Belle either, I like seeing the underdogs win every once and a while.

    I don't get home from work until close to midnight most nights, so I'm naturally up late in the evening/early morning. I just do all the regular stuff that most people probably do when they get off work/school though- eat, do a few chores around the house, watch TV/YouTube, play my 3DS, surf the web, etc. I always seem to end off the day watching YouTube videos on my iPod, though.

    Discord got my vote in his matchup, and I expect that he'll win that match easily. As for the other two matches, I'm not surprised it's so close between 4 secondary/background characters. My first vote went to Soarin, though I was pretty split down the middle between him and Granny Smith. As for the other match, I voted for Big Mac, who's probably tied with Discord as my favorite male character on the show.

    After hearing it at work, I've had Say Something by Christina Aguilera and A Great Big World stuck in my head all day. After seeing that Pentatonix made a cover of it though, I have to say I much prefer their version.

    A little over a week ago I bought a book about the console wars between Sega and Nintendo, appropriately named 'Console Wars'. Before that though, I couldn't tell you what the last thing I bought online was.

    I can't think of anyone that I call exclusively by their last name- the closest would be my neighbor who goes by Cal, which is a short form of his last name.

    Quite happy to see Scootaloo win her first matchup- was definitely not expecting that one! As for these matchups, I seem to be amongst the majority in voting for Rarity, Twilight and Derpy. As much as I like both Spitfire and Vinyl Scratch/DJ Pon-3, it's hard to vote against any of the Mane 6. And I'm not much of a Sunset Shimmer fan, so picking Derpy was an easy choice here!

    Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie were easy choices for me to make- Bulk Biceps and Angel are great side characters, but definitely nothing compared to the Mane 6. The other two votes were a little more difficult, which is why I'm not surprised to see them as close as they are in the polls. While Applebloom isn't my favorite CMC, I still gave her the slight edge over Octavia, since we just don't see her quite as often as we should. As for Scootaloo/Princess Celestia, it was a coinflip, since I like both of them equally. I ended up going with Scootaloo though, since I think she's more of the underdog in this matchup.

    If I ever come across any spiders or bees/wasps in my house, I'll try to trap these and then let them go outside. Other than that, I don't really care if I see the occassional fly or moth in my house- as long as they aren't getting into any food or clothing, I'll usually just let them be.

    I prefer the sweeter red apples like Fuji and Royal Gala apples. Golden Delicious aren't bad either, but I much prefer sweet apples to the tart ones.

    Definitely not surprised to see Luna, AJ and Zecora in the lead right now, even though I only voted for the latter 2 of the three. Trixie vs. Luna was a tough vote for me, but I loved the few times that Trixie showed up as a minor antagonist so far, and hope that we'll get to see more of her in the future. Luna's alright, but considering she was imprisoned for 1000 years, it's still a little tough for me to believe that she got over things so quickly, so I can't take her quite as seriously as I probably should. Applejack was an easy vote for me. While I did like Queen Chrysalis and the Changelings, it's hard to root against one of the main characters of the show. And my vote for Zecora you will find, was rooted deep inside my mind. Though Mayor Mare a leader true, my vote I could not give to you.

    When playing online at least, I definitely prefer a better framerate to good graphics. Who cares if everything around me looks gorgeous if I can't enjoy it to its full capacity?

    Even if she weren't my favorite of the Mane 6, I still think I'd go meet Fluttershy first. I can assume I'd be the only human in Equestria at that point, and since Fluttershy seems to be good with creatures of all types, I'd probably want to go to her first. After that I'd definitely want to meet Twilight Sparkle though, seeing as she's basically a walking encyclopedia, and has actually had some contact with humans.

    Aha, my work schedule would be cut in half, but I'd still be making the same amount of money! In all honesty though, I'd probably treat a clone of myself as a long lost identical twin, and let them do their own thing while I did mine. The novelty of it might be fun at first, but I'm sure neither myself or my clone would want to hang around with each other forever, so I'd just make sure he changed his name (and maybe alter his appearance a bit) so we could lead seperate lives.

    Very interested to see how some of these groups turn out- with the most interesting possibly being Group H in my eyes. As far as this first matchup goes, my vote went to Sweetie Belle, and though it was a tough decision, it looks like I'm with the majority so far on this one.

    Up until last winter, I'd been using the same computer for 12 years- one with only 128MB RAM and a 20GB hard drive (and it still had a floppy disk drive, so you know it was old!). As for my current computer, I'm just using a cheap Acer laptop. I guess the specs are pretty good, but anything was an upgrade from my old computer. I don't know all the specs off hand, but it has a 15.6" screen, 750GB hard drive, 6GB of RAM, and is running an AMD A4-5000 processor.

    I'm tempted to say Caterpie since Butterfree's my favorite Pokemon, but starting off with a Caterpie would probably make life much more difficult than it needs to be. With that said, I'd probably pick Azurill. Azumarill's always been one of my favorite Water Pokemon, and with the addition of the Fairy type, it got even more useful.

    I'm expecting one of Spain, Brazil, Argentina or Germany to win, but I'm still holding out hope for the Netherlands to avenge their 2010 loss. It'd be cool to see either Belgium or Switzerland win too, as I had no idea that they were so high in the FIFA rankings.
