  1. Say, not bad! I like the little filly Celestia and Luna's. Dash's ears look a little longin the first photo, kind of like a donkey's. The nose looks fine, I hear it's difficult to draw ponies straight on.
  2. Hi there, welcome to the site! This place is full of Bronies, so I think you've come to the right spot.
  3. Well, that is a cute little pony. Love*Potion seems to have asked the question I was wondering - name is Avocado, Cutie Mark is ice cream? Anyway, the legs could use a little work, but the body looks nice as well as the mane and tail. I don't think the head is at quite the right angle, but at least the eyes don't look derped. At least we can tell it's a pony.
  4. This song gives me feels: I just get so sad listening to this, and when I first saw it I was like, "Marceline don't cry!" D: dofaingoin feeeeellllssssssss.
  5. I know planning a convention sounds awesome and fun... But it is a HUGE responsibility. Not to mention, in the end if you don't break even, you'll be using your OWN funds to make sure everything is paid for. Trust me, my friends ran an Anime convention for three years. Conventions cost thousands of dollars, and whether or not people show up, you still have to pay the hotel, the voice talent, the agents... just to name a few expenses. If you don't make what you've spent back in the end, you could end up thousands of dollars in debt. No joke. I mean, I've staffed a few different cons in my time, and I gotta say I would never want to be financially responsible for one. And considering there is already a convention happening ONLY 150 miles away, I'd say that frankly, a convention wherever you are would be a terrible idea. You would be in competition with that con, regardless of your date. Some people can only afford one con a year, and likely they'll pick the popular/more established one. 150 miles is not far to go for a con.
  6. Well hey there! Dang, where did you get that fancy pants signature banner? This place is full of cool people ponies.
  7. Hello there! Welcome to MLP Forums. This is a pretty nice and cool bunch, I'm sure you'll like it here.
  8. Princess Luna had seen it all. Day and night throughout their journey, she'd been watching them, straining herself between the group of saviors, Canterlot, Ponyville, and the rest of Equestria. If any threat attacked Ponyville, Celestia would be alone, and if any threat attacked anywhere else in Equestria, Luna would have to tend to it. That still left the herd of heroes on their own, and for awhile that hadn't been a problem. It pained her to see Ice Storm struggling with her insecurities, but she didn't dare leave Equestria unattended for something as trivial as bed wetting. She thanked the stars for the acceptance of Iron Wing and Daylight, despite the icy mare's shortcomings. Besides that, the journey had been rather uneventful so far, and the princess was grateful for that. But such peacefulness, in such a time as this... it just didn't sit right. Something was going to happen. And then there they were, the monstrous trees. Still, they would have to hold their own. Even if their opponents were larger, there were an equal number of ponies to enemies, plus the dragon. They could do it. Princess Luna had faith in them. They had been chosen, just as the original Elements of Harmony had been. And they'd made it through the Everfree Forest that night, all the way to the Moon Palace, and taken down any foe that stood in their way. Yes, this troupe could do it as well. Luna sighed with relief once the battle was over. As injuries had begun occurring, her faith in the group had faltered, but she hadn't given up on them yet. In the end, they'd been able to defeat the enormous opposers, by working together. They would be safe for now, and the princess relaxed. She was still worried for them, of course—after all, the journey was far from over. But hopefully that would be the last enemy they would see today. And then it happened. Just when everypony had thought the worst was over, something even more terrible reared its head... if any part of the spectral energy could be called a head. She gulped. Princess Luna could feel the magical energy emanating from it. Why hadn't she sensed it before? Where had it come from? She gave a frustrated snort, she should have been able to anticipate something of this size—at least, a magical creature of this size. There was no time to stop and think. It was evident that after the battle that had ensued just minutes before, the group was unprepared for this new challenge. Where once the princess had had faith in them to be able to take care of themselves, that feeling was gone, with good reason. Maybe, without this new threat, they could have refreshed and gained health and moral. But this was too soon, and everypony was unprepared. The Everfree Forest was not far away, even for a regular pony traveling from Canterlot to Ponyville. So for the princess, with her massive wingspan and increased speed, it took but a few minutes. An achingly long few minutes, even as she dove from the tower to give herself momentum. She was watching the scene unfold, her heart racing and her wings beating so fast she felt they might tear away from her. There was a flash of blue as the princess blasted through the creature, and it let out another pained roar. ”LEAVE. THEM. ALONE!!!” The bellowing voice rang out. Luna landed on the ground, hard, so much so that to those in the immediate area, it might have felt like a small earthquake. But the source of the disturbance was clear, right in front of all of them. Immediately, she engulfed them all in a large dome shaped shield, preventing any outside attacks. Dozens of tentacles slammed against the surface, seconds too late for the enemy. She was concerned for the newly injured dragon, but... she couldn't help but go to Ice Storm first. ”Ice Storm!” The princess rushed to her friend, nuzzling her gently and quickly. ”I came as soon as I could! I'm sorry, I'm so sorry...” Her throat tightened as tears threatened to bubble to the surface, seeing her friend in so much pain. She should have never let them face the Treants alone. Her thoughts were broken, as a mighty force pounded against the shield, shaking causing a wave to ripple across the surface. The ethereal being had grown two giant fists, and was currently raising them for another blow. The princess winced, her horn still glowing as she felt the mass of the blow. She glanced around. Everypony was pretty worse for wear—those that could stand were the ones that would have the least effect, and those who were hurt were the ones that were needed to at least have a chance against this monster. Luna looked up, sizing up the opponent before them. Magical beings were difficult, but not impossible—but this one was strong. She braced herself for another hit, the force of this one knocking her to the ground. She quickly picked herself up, still concerned with Ice Storm's well-being—and that was her undoing. A stray vine, one that had either been trapped in with the group, or that had somehow managed to slither under the shield, suddenly wrapped itself around the back left leg of the princess. It snapped back quickly, pulling her down before she had a chance to react, and nearly breaking her concentration on the shield spell. She turned, shooting beams of magic from her horn, trying desperately to hit the vine. But from her angle, and the fact that the creature would not hold still, every beam missed. Luna was drug along the ground for several feet, before being lifted high into the air. The shield apparently let things out, but not back in. Thorns dug into her leg, but she had to focus on keeping the shield up, keeping the others safe. Meanwhile, she continued her barrage of laser-like magic attacks, in an unsuccessful attempt to either stun the shadow enough to let her go, or break its grip by severing the vine. But it swung her back and forth carelessly, and being as she was more or less upside down, she was getting dizzy. The tentacle snaked further up her leg, and then onto her belly, tearing and scratching as it went. It lifted her right side up, holding her clearly before the group below. Still, she did not falter, doing her best to ignore the ever growing pain and keep everypony else safe. Another vine snapped forward, sliding around her neck, as the being continued pounding on the shield. Finally she cried out, a mix of magical pain shooting down her horn, mixed with the numerous cuts along her body. ”AAAAA—cckkk—” Her scream was cut off as the grip on her throat was tightened. Luna turned her head upwards, eyes closed, heart pounding, shaking, sweating, still determined to keep the defense up as long as possible. ”GO! Get out of here! You have to get to the temple! Save everypony! I'll hold it off as long as I can!” Luna sent out a telepathic message, hoping that everypony—at least, everypony that was conscious—would hear. It was what she thought was her last hope of saving them—of saving Ice Storm. She didn't know how much longer she could protect them. If they got a safe distance away, there were a number of high powered spells she could use for distraction, and perhaps even harm—but with everypony so near, it could likely injure them too—or worse. But there wasn't time to explain that. The group could choose to fight, and save the princess. Or they could go on without her, leaving her fate in the claws of the shadowy monster. If they left, would she be alright? Would she survive? But if they stayed... their own lives would be in jeopardy, along with that of everypony in Ponyville. Save the princess, or abandon her and save Ponyville? Neither choice was easy.
  9. Alright, that's great! Thank you very much. All the pieces in the first post look so good. 23 pieces is cray cray, but you've been keeping at it! Awesome!
  10. Let me say that Everfree Northwest is an amazing convention. They already got through their first year, and they're back again for their second this year--which is big hurdle many first year pony cons do not clear. I am on the staff, and let me say that everyone is working their flanks off to make this convention amazing. As I said, EFNW made it through their first year, and though there were some bumps, nothing caught on fire and most people had a pretty good con. I'm just going to say that Everfree was awesome last year, and is going to hopefully be so much more awesome this year as well. Keep in mind that just because you had a bad experience at one convention, doesn't mean that every convention is like that. I'm sorry Crystal Mountain Pony Con didn't work out like you'd hoped, but I can almost guarantee that you'll have a good time at Everfree.
  11. Hi there! So, you said you made a song... do you just write lyrics, or do you actually sing and/or play music?
  12. Well hi there! Welcome to the site! So, what's the story behind your OC?
  13. Ah, sweet! Okay, I shall give you the choice... You can draw Tales as a Changeling, or you can draw my Changeling OC, Shadow. It's up to you! I would prefer the Changeling, really, but I see that you didn't just want people to post Changelings.
  14. Woah, that's some pretty nice artwork! Some of the coloring looks off in the last picture. What medium did you use to draw these?
  15. Hello there, welcome to MLP Forums! Do you know how to play any pony songs?
  16. Hey, that looks great! Sitting ponies is such a weird position, as I don't think it's natural, but really, the FiM ponies have bent in some weird ways as if they don't have bones sometimes! The colors are nice, but I don't see much in the way of shading. Was that intentional?
  17. I'm liking the Cutie Mark, but I think her legs are too long and her snout is too thin. her wings look nice, but that's not the shape they are in the show-but you might just be going for your own style with that, which is fine. Did you draw this with markers?
  18. I'm not sure if I would get a tattoo of a pony. I mean, I've been into other fandoms before, and never gotten a tattoo for them. Of course, that might have something to do with not being eighteen for awhile as well as not having the funds. But like, fads come and go, and I wouldn't want to get a tattoo and then stop liking something. I have been considering getting my pony's Cutie Mark somewhere though, because it's only subtly connected to ponies.

  20. Exactly what I was saying. Only if there's room and no further requests to be done. I just didn't know how fast you would go in comparison with posts to the thread.

I'm sorry, I do not have any references for her at the moment. Hence, why I want you to draw her! XD Being a teen, she'd be somewhere between Little Strongheart and like a full grown Buffalo. So, kind of an age we didn't see in the show.
