  1. PONIES. Also, theology and philosophy. But mostly ponies
  2. I tend to call anything like that outside the Star Wars universe a laser sword. Lightsaber just seems like a very Star Wars-specific designation to me.
  3. I was really sad when I heard that Alan Rickman died. Then one of my friends posted this picture on Facebook and I felt a little bit better.
  4. You COULDN'T care less, not COULD! COULDN'T!!! *flips a table*

  5. I'm currently reading A Canticle for Leibowitz by Walter M. Miller, Jr. for one of my clubs on campus. I'm a little over halfway done, and I'm really enjoying it. It's a story from the post-apocalyptic world from the perspective of monks trying to preserve the knowledge almost completely destroyed after the bombs fell. After I finish it, I have one other book to read for the club, Neuromancer by William Gibson, which is said to be the first cyberpunk novel. I've read it once before, but it's really trippy, so I'm hoping certain things make more sense a second time around.
  6. That guy sounds like a jerk. But no, you can't tell if someone is a virgin just by their appearance or mannerisms. People usually don't change their behavior once they experience sex for the first time. If they did, I would have noticed changes in many people I've known. I'd like to add that if someone gets embarrassed when sex comes up in conversation, that doesn't mean they're a virgin, either. Maybe they just don't like to talk about that sort of thing.
  7. Merry everything!

  8. The last three movies I watched were all Star Wars Episode VII.
  9. These are the fandoms in which I've been active: Brony Furry Star Wars Code Lyoko Star Trek Currently, I'm only really active in the brony community. It's the one I've been most passionate about, and I'd say the runner up is Code Lyoko. Unfortunately, it seems like that community mostly dissolved over the years, which is a shame. I'd like to find fans of the series again. I'm also considering beginning to get into the Metalocalypse and Nerdfighter fandoms. I was only just introduced to the concept of Nerdfighters (very new subscriber to John and Hank Green on Youtube), and I've been a fan of Metalocalypse since the beginning. I'm not sure which show I like better: My Little Pony or Metalocalypse. That's kind of weird when you think about it.
  10. Star Wars is even better the second time around.

  11. The aptly named Max Payne. Never again.
  12. I actually really love that video because it's so funny. I think it's just satirical and not meant to be an attack on bronies, so I can appreciate the humor. Some people seem to take it too seriously, though, including both bronies and non-bronies.
  13. Awoke at 2:00 this morning to find myself standing up in my living room.

  14. I've had a couple, but the only one I can remember (and not very well) involved me trying to play with Opal. I remember being scratched pretty badly, so it wasn't really a good dream.
  15. I couldn't help myself. I just bought the Rarity and Rainbow Dash 4DE plushes from Amazon.

  16. Fallout 3 and Oblivion come to mind. It's tempting to get the rest of the franchises and play through them all, but that would be a huuuuuge time commitment. Incidentally, I've put more hours into playing Oblivion than any other game I've ever touched, although it's hard to go back now that I've experienced Skyrim.
  17. I'm actually really enjoying this season so far. There have been a few episodes that I don't like so much, but I really like this story arc and a lot of it has been really funny, at least to me. I especially love PC principal and how he's always so tense and angry when someone does something politically incorrect.
  18. It's catchier, but my goodness is it longer. I couldn't help but think of Too Many Cooks when I was watching it.
  19. I played Second Life I think between 2007-2008 (it's kind of old, isn't it?). It was pretty cool at first, and there are a lot of neat things that people make, but eventually you run out of things to do and find yourself spending money on fun items and clothing. Granted, you don't need to spend a dime, but the really nice stuff usually costs in-game currency, which you can buy with real money or earn by selling items in-game. Aside from shopping, there's not much to do except chat with people. I'm not great with just hanging out with people online unless we're playing a game that feels like a game, so I eventually stopped playing. I did have some fun times, though. My fondest memory is my friend and I discovering a server based on Tatooine. He put on his sandtrooper setup, and I donned my clone trooper gear, and we sat on a mine droid that patrolled the area. We each had multiple cigars sticking out of our helmets, he had a drink in his hand, I was periodically activating a bubble gum bubble animation (complete with popping sound), and we were saluting anyone who passed by.
  20. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of all. It's about food, family, and football. What's not to love? Although getting presents on Christmas is great, I think Thanksgiving is much more personal and less stressful (except for the ones doing the cooking and cleaning). But I refuse to do any shopping on Thanksgiving, for a couple of reasons. First, I don't want to be caught up in that madness. The commercialization of Christmas has gotten way out of hand, and people now trample each other to death on the appropriately named Black Friday. Second, it's terrible that people have to work on Thanksgiving to provide for all of those shoppers. By shopping on Thanksgiving, I would be promoting the practice of forcing those people to work during that holiday.
  21. We had to use freshly killed frogs in biology lab today. The professor invited anyone who was interested to follow him and view the process used to eliminate sensory function so that the frog wouldn't feel anything. I decided it was important for me to see what the frogs had to go through for us, so I joined everyone who followed. I ended up passing out in the prep room.

  22. There will probably be some people who won't stick around on account of a year-long hiatus, but even without episodes, the comics and other official merchandise still exist, not to mention all of the great fan made content which is constantly being produced.
