  1. For some reason, dreamt that I was in a universe in which Israel Kamakawiwo'ole did not exist.

  2. Just opened the lid of my coffee maker to brew a cup, and a spider ran into the water reservoir.

  3. I love these, keep up the good work!
  4. My favorite movie is Ghost in the Shell, and my least favorite movie is the aptly named Max Payne.
  5. Just found this awesome fanmade episode on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57Y2rTW1mLk Really well made; I could almost see it as something the creators would do, if it weren't for the crossovers.

  6. One of my friends was wearing a Rainbow Dash shirt to the gaming club meeting tonight. Finally found somebody else on campus who's a brony, and I've been hanging out with her the whole time.

  7. One of the clubs I'm in on campus watched Troll Hunter on Thursday night. It's a Norwegian film about a film crew following a man who's job it is to keep the public unaware of the existence of trolls in Norway. It's fantastic, I definitely recommend that people watch it (it's available on Netflix).
  8. Every once in a while. I've figured out which classes are the worst for this, and drink some coffee before showing up. I had a pretty funny incident last semester, though. Two of my friends were getting married on a Sunday in another state, and I had an 8:30 am class the next day, so I stayed at the wedding until 7 pm, drove home, and got as much sleep as I could. Then I showed up to class with a large coffee (the professor let us bring drinks to class), and ended up falling asleep still clutching the coffee cup in my hand. I think the professor didn't wake me up because she realized that I was really doing my best to stay awake.
  9. PONIES. Also my cat, good food and drink, pulling off something really stupid in a game, correctly performing chemistry calculations on the first try, and going really fast downhill on my bike. Lots of other things, of course, but this would be an enormous post if I kept going.

    music Roadtrip Music?

I'd personally recommend George Thorogood & the Destroyers. A lot of their stuff is definitely what I'd call music for the highway.
  11. Honestly, the Smile Song does wonders for me. But there's other music which calms me down a great deal, as well. The most effective thing for me to do is to spend some time by myself, away from other people. Deep breaths and walks can do wonders, too.
  12. Five years ago I had very low self esteem, made a lot of stupid decisions, and still lived with my parents. Now, I have very high self esteem, have my own apartment, and, while I do definitely do stupid things now and then, I don't do them nearly as frequently or as severely. It's difficult for me to grasp that this was just five years ago.
  13. Aside from Discord, the one who comes to mind is Angel.
  14. I grew up wearing my shoes around the house, and I always did so up until August, when I moved into my new apartment. Because, unlike my last apartment, this one has really nice, light colored carpeting, and I want to keep it nice and soft for as long as possible. It's really nice to walk around barefoot on this carpet. If you felt the carpeting in my last apartment, you'd understand why this is so important. When it comes to other people's homes, I follow the principle of monkey-see, monkey-do. If they remove their shoes, I do the same. Otherwise, I'll keep them on.
  15. ϕ (phi), which represents the Golden Ratio, 1.618. Try multiplying 1.618 by itself, and you'll get 2.618, or 1.618 + 1. Then, try dividing 1 by 1.618, and you'll get 0.618, or 1.618 - 1. I love it! It's found in Fibonacci Sequences and a myriad of natural and geometric phenomena.
  16. A cannon (a little cast iron one). I think I've done well here. -_-
  17. I like it. He reminds me of the time I woke up an hour late for a physics midterm.
  18. So, earlier today, one of my friends posted College Humor's "My Little Brony" video on his Facebook page. Personally, I think the video is funny, but he was using it to lambast the brony community, and garnered support from one of his friends, so I called him out for his use of a stereotype which is totally wrong. Hours went by before he commented again, and he totally ignored my post, only addressing his (by then) two friends who agreed with his negative point of view.

Exactly. What's really irritating about this little episode is that even though I pointed out his error, he just ignored it. He isn't even willing to argue about it, so there's no way I can change his mind.

By the way, apologies about the multiple posts. I noticed some things I wanted to edit, but there's no edit option.

      Pokemons are gaaay

Its fine, but I agree. If you're not willing to listen to the other side of the argument, I makes you sound close minded and rude.

  19. I don't know what I would do following this, but I think I would immediately open a window and shout "yay!".
  20. I strongly doubt that anyone else in my family is a brony. Also, I think that I would be the subject of harsh criticism if certain family members ever found out about me being a brony.
  21. Saw them play this live in Philly last year. Sooo powerful in person.
  22. I'm having some severe communication issues with other people on campus. I feel like I'm doing my best to be clear with everyone, but nobody else is putting in any effort at all. And this is a problem, because I believe that one of my biggest vices is my lack of confidence in other people. How can I begin to have faith in other people if they keep making things more difficult for me instead of easing some of the stress? This is a very unhealthy attitude which I want to discard.

  23. My worst nightmare doesn't really make sense in that context. I was very young, maybe 4 or 5 years old, and I was dreaming that I was in a massive room with walls covered with those little mailboxes you see inside post offices everywhere. My perspective zoomed in really quickly to one corner of the room, where a sewing needle was laying on the floor, some scary music played, and I woke up immediately. And then it turned out that my younger sister had had the same dream. I had some other, understandably scary dreams within the past few years. In one, I was standing in the middle of a street, and the surrounding neighborhood was completely destroyed. From down the street I hear a monstrous roar, and look to see a huge gorilla bounding down it towards me. It was about ten feet tall, with powerful muscles, but what was most conspicuous about it was that it was rotting, like a zombie, with open, festering wounds coursing down its whole body. I stood rooted to where I was standing, not because I was too afraid to move, but because I knew that running would be useless. It reached me, and grabbed me in its hand, and I woke up. My other dream took place in a room with a floor made of sand, as though the building were constructed directly on a desert, and with a stone platform in the middle of the room, from which a stairway descended in a curve to the floor. I was standing underneath the platform, as there was room underneath to do so. Then I started to feel stabbing pain on the top of my head, and when I say that, I mean that I could actually feel the pain occurring in my dream. There were fingernails descending from the ceiling of the platform, brown, dirty, and shriveled, and in groups, as though there were dead hands lurking inside the stone of the platform, and they were digging into my skull. My perspective shifted, and suddenly I was another person who was in the room, laying flat on their back on the floor. Then I felt that same stabbing pain, this time all over my back. I got up to see hundreds of shriveled fingernails ascending from the sandy floor. I ran up the stairs to the top of the platform, but now the pain was in my feet - they were rising through the stone floor of the platform. I finally ran downstairs and forced open the door to the room. I don't think I woke up at this point, and I'm pretty sure there was more to the dream, but this is the only part which I can really remember.
