    Some S8 episodes are in Top 50, i am hyped now. Most hyped S8 episodes: Horse Play Surf and Turf Break Up Break Down Parent Map is kinda 'meh' and The Mean 6 is just decent (the lack of background musics might ruin my enjoyment a little bit).

    Boring is a sin. If an episode entertain me in some ways, i will try to find some positive things to say about it even it was bad. If that episode is boring, i wont even try. Predictability is not a terrible crime. We consumed media for years so there is nothing new under the sun. Just dont be painful obvious, a little twist and a bit self-awareness can make up for the predictable plot. Good character interactions is a key of a successful episode. Dialogue should be decent at least. I love snappy dialogues. Never underestimate the power of dialogues, good acting should go along with good dialogues. Be a cartoon, just be silly, just do some crazy stuffs. I watch cartoons to see characters do their cartoonic antics. Standing and talking characters can be a bit boring, more body-language. Discontinuity is a sin. The writers should watch previous episodes to stay consistent. World-building is cool but not this show top priority. Afterall, best episodes from the show take place in Ponyville. Try not to play too safe. I love the show when it took risk. Explore more interesting theme.

    Yeah, it kinda make sense a little bit if you put it that way but still, those words come from her mouth are very nasty, especially the raccoons. Fluttershy didnt realize she could hurt their feeling? She could scold them with more... you know... kinder words? When Fluttershy being nasty, her words are just sharp as knifes. That what happen to the actors who act too 'in character'.

    *After rewatching Fake* The 'nastiness' of this episode is that they dont treat Fluttershy behaviors just as bad as her other "out of her element" episode. The racoons just forgive Fluttershy too easily, they should get mad at her and run away and she had to find them and apologize or sth (too dramatic, i guess). The ways Fluttershy acted toward her friends are confusing me. Is it just that Fluttershy just play her 'fake character' too believably or is she just being nasty like she did in the past? Which one? It starts out just an act but then she's getting more frustrated with those nasty customers and then it become real?! Is it the answer? That's what Manehattan did to ponies, everyone, to adjust it's life style, you have to play a character then the character become YOU. That what i get from the setting of this episode. Fluttershy being nasty to animals is nothing new, she did it in Best Night Ever and PYHD (which are considered one of the best and one of the worst). Until now, i dont use 'out of character' or 'character assassination' to describe the character so often because i still want to speculate the character like they are actual people (or ponies) more than 'meh, out of character, this episode sucks!'. This ep got worse the second time i watched it but i cant bring myself to hate it. 5/10 Now, i am spending my time to find out what i could like more from this ep. Even i could find a lot of thing to enjoy in What About Discord?...

    *Watching Fake it Til You Make It episode...* What a very long prologue. Angel acts like a dick? Great! At least he didn't kick that bowl away like he did in Putting Your Hoof Down or Mr.Enter's blood will be boiling up to 100 degree. You always have your bossy inside you, you don't have to fake it, darling, just release it. Wait, Flutterbitch is back?! So....... What I get from this episode: You live in the city for too long, YOU WILL BECOME A CITY PEOPLE, especially you are a salesperson, if you want to survive, you have to be a bitch. That's what it takes to be a salesman, THERE IS NO NICE SALESMAN! I'm glad Fluttershy still act like THAT in the end, I expected some bullshit conclusions, but I am glad there are none. Fluttershy just enjoy her new personality too much, at least she didn't act nasty to her friends like Putting Your Hoof Down, they didn't cross the line so Mr.Enter's sanity still be safe from now. *Finished* A very uneventful episode, it's just a very repetitive montage of FlutterBoss. Better than what I expected, at least it is not Fluttershy Leans In , I have some fun with this episode. Not the best Josh Hamilton episode ever, just a middle of the road one, but it is not a Triple Threat or Honest Apple, so It's a plus, I wished the humors would be funnier. 7/10, not bad. Random afterthought: The mane 5 is kinda useless in this ep. Wait, they didn't shove any extreme optimistic morals to this 'real' episode??? As a Salesman, be a dick to someone else but not to your friends and family. OMGGGGGGGG! IT's Great!

    So....... What I get from this episode: You live in the city for too long, YOU WILL BECOME A CITY PEOPLE, especially you are a salesperson, if you want to survive, you have to be a bitch. That's what it takes to be a salesman, THERE IS NO NICE SALESMAN! :angry: I'm glad Fluttershy still act like THAT in the end, I expected some bullshit conclusions, but I am glad there are none. Fluttershy just enjoy her new personality too much, at least she didn't act nasty to her friends like Putting Your Hoof Down, they didn't cross the line so Mr.Enter's sanity still be safe from now.  ;)

    A very uneventful episode, it's just a very repetitive montage of FlutterBoss. Better than what I expected, at least it is not Fluttershy Leans In :squee:, I have some fun with this episode.     Only his Triple Threat is dumb, his Parental Glideance and Secret & Pies are laugh-inducing. His episodes are funny so i hope Fake can be very funny at least (but not dumb like Triple Threat).

    The best last RarityFluttershy episode is Green isnt Your Color. I have a feeling Fake cant beat Green anytime soon. I expect it to be a decent episode at least, its Fluttershy and Rarity episode, two my favorite mane 6, what could go wrong? (I didnt watch the animatic)

    Ahahahaha, Starlight, you are really a mini-Twilight even without knowing it. What you really lacks is that you are not a leader of the group so people may not take your words seriously if you don't make the same moral lesson in an epic long speech, but it's OK, you GOT it and that's all matter.:maud:

    Season 6 took me 5 first episodes to finally get my attention. I can get your feelings because at that time, i was very hyped for S6 and felt very disappointed. A lot episodes in that season were not as good as I imagined, it my faults to let my expectations gone wild. I didnt want to mention Starlight drama during that time... Overall, season 6 still a good season, it just 4 first episodes are meh and some few bad episodes there and there but not as much as S4 so i rate it better than S4. S8 so far is good, i only watched 3 first episodes and two leaks, only one of them is very meh (episode 8) so it not a bad sign. Plots can be a bit predictable but the character interactions are just great, definitely better than S6. They use Starlight better this season is already a big plus for me. Hope you still enjoy this season somehow but to me, i like this season so far. Hope they will shove some god-tier episodes to my face anytime soon. I want wow factors.

    Season 8 just aired 3 episode so i cant compare them yet. However, if you just compare 3 first episodes, i agree School Daze is much better premiere than S7 premiere. Even i dont like Pinkie performances in Maud Couple, i still like it better than A Flurry of Emotions because Maud Couple satisfied me more in the act 3.

    Seeing Maud smile A LOT in Maud Couple made me happy. Come on, forum, make some new Maud faces, we have new ones. We need happy Maud emoticons.

    Pinkie is very aggressive in this ep, everytime that guy says anything including 'Technically' will trigger her or something, she annoyed me during the whole episode (not in the funny ways). Mudbriar is another Maud with sticks. Never see Maud smiles that much in any episode, that guy could make her happy. Limestone and Marble back. They are in my wish list. Limestone is very helpful to Pinkie instead of being bossy all the time (yeah, she lived in the rock farm, life is hard I guess). Not many surprises in this ep, we already know Mudbriar is a good guy, its just Pinkie being so over-protective. The humor is dry that I need to drink more water. An enjoyable episodes at least but not anything spectacular. Pinkie in the act 2 is worst part of this ep that hinder my enjoyment for this ep, I don't even know Sheldon character that everyone talking about, but I already see him as a perfect boy friend for Maud already, he is TECHNICALLY a Maud ver 2.0 or I call him "Stick in the MAUD", why cant Pinkie see it? This ep is TECHNICALLY a Rock Solid Friendship ver 2.0 but with more dry humors. Seeing Maud more happy than usual make this ep a 8/10 for me. It just my first impression, if I said something stupid, don't kill me yet.

      I sort of understand the motivation behind her behaviour, but I struggle to reconcile it with season 1-2 Pinkie. I mean, it’s not like she’s never been judgmental before, but it still frustrated me a bit.

      @Lambdadelta I wouldn't go that far, it's just that she's not necessarily showing as good a side of herself as I would have hoped.

    Here my experience with the premiere today, if you bother. Damn, my dentist just pulled out my tooth yesterday, it really hurt while watch this premiere (and happy at the same time). *Watching S8 premiere* I am glad they didn't try to ignore the movie existence but at same time, the movie is not so good so I am glad they just want to get over it as fast as possible. Look at Starlight's face, look like she didn't know anything at all. Even the Princess have to ask association to build a school, even a goddess of the sun herself... Very interesting. I knew where the tax coming from now... These new students from different kinds are not just some random students, they are students picked by their leader of their nations (even by force). Well done, I am invested. These new characters are just too cute. Meanwhile, Twilight try to make her school approved by the association instead of actual genuine education. She look like some principals I knew, care about her school more than her student... Well, they can open school because of association permission, cant 100% blame them, it's very pressure. You are too young to open a school, Twilight. That egdy lord is goddamn racist (if I used wrong word, correct me). The way he teleports is egdy too. Starlight didn't talk very much, as I expected, educations are not her things, all she has to do is follow Twilight like the rest of the mane 6, which is understandable. THey are not prepared to be a teachers. I forgot to mention the song, not great but it tells a story so it not unnesessary. Let see part 2. *S8 premiere Part 2 done* Previously on My Little pony... How about Apples and PEARS, huh?, huh? ...............My god, why I am getting so worked up........ WAit wrong series... ... ......Twilight's Kingdom..... soon~ Party and Diplomacy = Party Pooped, Education and Diplomacy = School Daze. While adults arguing, kids just wanted to have fun. These kids are the future. Just like what I expected, only little changeling pay attention to Fluttershy lessons, look at her eyeshapes, its too obvious, she is Fluttershy ver 2.0. So cute. Even Ember tired of drawn out songs..... I still has many thing to say about this premiere but I cant think anything else at that point because my jaws hurt. I really like this premiere. Much better than I expected. 9/10 (if they could have the better songs, it would be 9.5). *Sr, I have to take some medicine to ease my pain, it look like this premiere gave me 3 hours of pain immune but it started to worn off...................*

      I thought Applejack teaching the kids to like apples was the funniest joke to ever be in the show. I literally paused the episode and started laughing out loud.

      Also, Spike and Starlight were both amazing. Like Spike's "who are you and what have you done with Twilight" line, or Starlight's "skrew the codex" moment. That was amazing. Starlight has become such a good character that she outshines the others whenever she is on screen! :squee:

      @Babyyoshi309 Applejack should promote other products other than her own. It showed how much she learn from Honest Apple, she should be better than that. Maybe i am criticizing a bit much... Still, its still funny :P By a way, she should promote Pear products too....

      I forgot to mention Spike, my bad. He is awesome in this ep even with few line. Starlight and Spike will compete to be the best assistant of princess.

    I am glad they didn't try to ignore the movie existence but at same time, the movie is not so good so I am glad they just want to get over it as fast as possible. Look at Starlight's face, look like she didn't know anything at all.
