    I wish I had your tolerance for some lackluster episodes through out the series, but it's just really hard for me to enjoy them. Some eps just made me mad... that made me want to tell everyone how bad it is.

    This ep is damn good, Nick did it again. Only thing bothers me in this ep is CMC subplot, they don't need to be there, should just focus more to the main plot. This ep made up for the cringeworthy episode in season 7 (Hard to Say Anything). The visual is nothing amazing but the dialogues are just so good, I love the scene Discord teaching Big Mac how to love himself. Another good holiday episode, 8/10. Random: Skelenor is the best cardboard. Leaning against something is cool. Lyra x Bon Bon is real now. You cant fool me anymore, Hasbro. Best friend my ass. Spike:As a great dragon poet once wrote to his beloved, "I love you with the utmost clarity. I love you, dear. My sweet, sweet Rarity—" . No no, Spike, you are too young for this. Spike: Ogres & Oubliettes? I thought you'd never ask! Oh, and... just wondering. No biggie, but... is Skelenor gonna be there? . Oh fuck, you never get Rarity so you jerk off over a 1 dimension cardboard? And she is an undead character??????????? What the hell... Please, Spike, get a real dragon girlfriend!

    All they need is making 6 episodes feature each member of student as the main character, interacting with their teachers, or Spike/Starlight. If they want to save episode slot, make student pairing episode instead of some pointless filler episodes.(i enjoy typical filler episodes of the show but it hurts whenever an extreme pointless episode like AJ's Day Off could be saved for some character development or world-building episodes).

    I think they finally crossed the line when they let Yona drown. If both AJ and RD stop their petty arguments to save Yona right away and learn a bit lesson in the end of the day, then i am fine with it. Since mlp is a 'cartoon' so i am fine with characters are being exaggerated and goofy but mlp is not Looney Toon or South Park, they has continuity and character progression, some certain lines cannot be crossed or... at least do it in an EXTREME FUNNY ways so i wont notice (this episode failed to do that either way). At least Fake it til You Make it is super funny.

    So this episode is Fall Weather Friends: School Edition or Fall Weather Friends: These two friends still arguing with each other until the end version. This episode is so cringeworthy but not in the good ways. AJ and RD are supposed to be teachers to teach the young generation what they learned about friendship in the past 7 seasons and here they are, what a shameful display! AJ and RD are not worthy to be the teachers, even until the end of this episode, heck, I'm glad these students still call them "professors". This episode isn't even funny enough to distract me. 5/10. Teacher ranking: 1. Fluttershy 2. Rarity 3. Pinkie 4. AJ 5. RD To be fair, RD is much worse than AJ. AJ at least still concern about her student safety and her earth pony status is her shortcoming (her bridge is not bad, she just need help), unlike RD who is much more flexible but all she did are breaking stuff. RD is the WORSE TEACHER because she give no shit about her student's safety. AJ is the second worse because she LIED. Fluttershy still the best teacher of the month, I wonder what happen to Pinkie or Rarity, I hope they tried their best. This is the worse school episode and I wish it would be the last. Back to theme-episode of season 4, AJ and RD are the worst of the mane 6 (Rainbow Fall is the worse key episode and Leap of Faith is the second worse) so I hope the next school episode will be spectacular.     "Why couldn't we have been sent to stop a war or something?! " - Starlight Glimmer. Yeah, the movie, you guys missed a lot of things. Even the writers knew Starlight's specialty, then why dont they give us some awesome episode like that?

    Only one thing so memorable in this episode is Starlight's edgy room, it's amusing and irritating me at the same time. Am I the only one who feel disappointed because... Starlight dad is a nice dude? Is it all about her equality extremist background story or Are there something more we will find out later? Because I don't find her dad relate to what she has become in later series. Bad people usually have very rough background. How can this nice daddy can produce such a pony who enslave an entire town and ruin timeline or some shits? ............... ............... *something came to my mind* -------------------------------------> -------------------------------------> ....................................... ....................................... Ok, ok, maybe some people are evil from the beginning, these stories didn't try to make them sympathic anyway... Remember when we started to feel bad for Diamond Tiara? It's when we know how bad her mother is. I know there still some people really hate her motivation back to Cutie Remark and this episode just make it more silly. Maybe we will get her cutie mark origin someday. I really like her edgy room, it reflected her states of mind back then. It's really interesting to see such a progression, from a small filly who love magics and boardgame to an edgy pony who like skulls and metals to a dictator who erased people cutie marks to... a pupil of Princess of Friendship who love magics and kites. After my second watch, I still didn't enjoy this ep as much as other episodes this season but I didnt hate it like my first watch. Maybe its because I expected something from this episode...

    Princess Luna went from playful princess in S2 to edgy princess we know today. Her playful side has been thrown into the comics result into 2 different characters for different fans who want to see Luna as a playful princess or a very serious one.

    I enjoyed this episode very much, a very simple and fun slice of life episode, portray Celestia in much more relatable ways. Random: - Celestia always has her joyful side, being a thousand-year-old didn't take it away from her. Look at her jumping animation! It just so cute! - For all this time, Starlight never see Twilight as the true princess? BURN!!! - Sonic Rainboom is a normal thing now. - Twilight finally do something that Starlight did it all the time: tell the princesses that they did it wrong! - Trixie cause havoc even she isn't there. - I remember Fluttershy used to act like Celestia in Testing Testing... - Celestia sit like a human is so weird... - Celestia bad acting is so cringe... but cute as the same time. - Luna knows what Celestia is doing. How can she use that godly power for something so mundane? Did she make the night shorter than usual? Luna is not happy. - Pinkie's obviousness ruined everything... - Applejack honesty lessons never get old. - Awwww, Celestia and Twilight sit on clouds... Alicorns are OP as F$#K! - Celestia got me in the end. Good acting, Celestia, you learned really fast. - Why these student 6 get no speaking role, come on, Hasbro, YOU'RE BROKE!? Celestia episode made my day (she raises the sun, obviously). 8/10

    Some people hate her S6, some people see her S7 as her saving grace. Cant please everyone, you know? I enjoy her characters in S6 and S7, what I want from S8 is a mixture of both.

    A.K.A Every Little Thing You Need To Know About Starlight Glimmer. Making extreme mistakes is one of enjoyable aspect of Starlight character which they don't use it frequently nowadays (the backlash)... Maybe I am the only one who enjoy whenever Starlight use her magics to cause problems.

    I dont know what are you trying to imply. The 'home appliance' you mean the show itself or the character that we are talking about? A home appliance is expected to be functional and work as intended, if you want it to be better than it already has, just BUY A BETTER ONE. Shows or characters can be improved to become better than it already has (breaking the status quo). Invest for the show is more like invest for a football player, not like purchase a dishwasher machine and expect it be much better than the newer version. How so? I will be fine if they stick with the status quo until the last episode but I still want it to be much better than it already has. How is it irrelevant? Then what? The show will end soon and G5 is coming which is a reboot. Are we talking about the same show? And what are you talking about? Be more direct, less snarky, plz.

    @Goat-kun We dont have many seasons left now. If Starlight is what she is until the end, i am ok with this, it made sense to her character background anyway. Starlight character are already GOOD, i just want the writers do MORE, oh well... At least she wont end u like Diamond Tiara. @King of Canterlot Starlight definitely a character that you have a lot of things to talk about, like her or not.

    Sunset filled with many positive traits that make her very delightful to watch but you cant relate to her. Starlight filled with many flaws that make her look edgy, but if you like flawed character then she is for you. With some recent character progression, Starlight character feel more balance now, only things she need right now are some new hobbies and character traits ( seriously, she just play kites too much...)

    Somehow, Surf and/or Turf episode didn't work for me. Maybe, its because when my parents divorced, it ended in a very unhappy note that make the episode look too... optimistic.

    This is a very "standard" episode, it has divorce which is a very sensitive subject for kids, I give it A+ for morals but on the other hand, the episode is a bit dull, not many funny jokes, not many memorable moments. The dialogues are just "standard", they are too forgettable, I prefer Nick Confalone, or M.A Larson kind of dialogues, they are usually very fun to hear, even they has many good one-liners. The song visuals are fun to watch but the song itself is meh, it isn't even mlp standard, songs should be the best things from this show that people will sing them over and over. The episodes feel like it take a long time to get to the main conflict, it took 9 minutes to the conflicts, which is weird because Rarity Takes Manehattan and Flight to Finish took over half of the episode to introduce the conflict but I didn't feel like 'I am bored now, where's the conflicts?', because they are just ENTERTAINING to watch. I give it a 7. Random: - It's very sad to not see Queen Novo and her lovely daughter because celebrities are expensive. They have to come up with a ton of Excuses to not show these characters from the movie ON SCREEN. - Twilight is very fine with the fact that she was the one who stole the Pearl from seaponies and returning to that place didn't remind her that atrocity. - Exposition train again. THey have to remind us the movie is sequel of S8. - Terramar is so cute, its good to see more likable male character of the show. - Diving feels like flying to Scootaloo? Oh shit, my heart.... ahhhhhhhhh *Scootalove intensifying* - Twilight feel unnessary in this ep but young kids need adults when traveling to corner of the world so, yeah... - I like the solution in the end, just live near the shore, brilliant! - Damn Sweetie Bell, let Scootaloo enjoy 'flying', please! You don't know how to feel like you are flying again when you are a handicapped Pegasus! - SEA-SCOOTALOO IS THE BEST!!!

    Some inconsistencies, some catastrophes happened throught out 7 seasons (horrible bad writtings, questionable directions) gave me any right to DOUBT them sometimes. To make the S8 finale less predictable, don't reform any villain THIS TIME, I bet a lot of people will surprise because a lot people expected some reformations. Self-awareness is required. Of course, I knew that comic is not canon, I just make an example of how disastrous the forced reformation of a TV-Y rating TV shows COULD BE. This is not anime, you don't have luxury 20+ episodes to make an awful bad guy look redeemable. Luckily, Starlight's case turned out fine because she looks not totally evil even you just watch her first 2 episodes but still, she had to go through S6 not without people criticizing, angry ranting and wish she would disappear or something, it required an amount of episodes which is very luxury for a new character in the late stage of the show. What I want for the S8 finale is: Understand what make the villains turn out his/her way but not nessesarily reform them. COOL!!!

    Reforming Tirek can be the worst thing the show has ever done. Storm King is not a very evil villain the show has ever created but yet he's received the most gruesome death then why not Tirek? We saw Sombra was reformed in the comic and that's ended badly. I hope the staffs know what they are doing...

    Holy shit, I can ENJOY G.M Berrow AGAIN! Because I dislike all of her episodes in S7 and I didn't expect any good episode from her anymore, but she just strike me when I didn't expect. I giggled throught out the episode Storywise, there is nothing amazing about it, G.M Berrow is a book writer for children so I don't expect anything intriguing or too thought-provoking, and I think this is where she's good at, that what I like from her very first episode: FUN! Animation is just so good, I feel lost in Las Pegasus. THAT LEVEL OF MANIPULATION of Applejack is the best part of this episode. Her conversations with RD sell the whole episode for me. Rainbow being haunted by Applejack, just like Pinkie being haunted by Rarity in The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows. Applesause, her voice is just so... seductive, that eyes... No, no, no, Granny Smith, you just too old for that... That blue Stalion with white hair, he must be Trixie's father. This ep is much better than the last episode, I like it. 8/10 Random: Auntie Applesause: Same time next year? Rainbow Dash: I wouldn't miss anything! How about tomorrow? Next moon? Next month? You know...
