Nicest people on the forums?
One-Punch Man replied to XxConfusedUnicornxX's topic in General Discussion
ooBrony is really nice and was one of the first people to greet me on this site! -
Write a story about a time something freaked you out as a kid. I will start! As a six year old kid I had a big crush on Raven Symone; the girl how acted as Raven in the show "That's So Raven". I liked the show a lot, and thought it had an interesting premise, with her having the ability to see into the future, so i watched it whenever I could. One night, I was watching the show with my mother, sister, and brother in the living room. The episode started off normal, Raven having to babysit some girl as I recall...and it interfering with some guy she liked. Raven had a "flash forward" sequence pop into her head of her in a big pink room, as she screamed, and fell down, before the sequence ended. I remember finding that funny as a kid, but not for long. As the episode went along, and "That's So Raven" shenanigans ensued, Raven, the guy she liked, and the girl she was baby sitting went to a museum. Raven somehow fell into this giant model of the human stomach....and it just turned from funny to way too strange super fast. I remember getting up and leaving the room because of just how uncomfortable I was, and went to my room and flipped to something else. I could still hear the sequence with Raven in the stomach happening in the next room, so I shut the door and turned the TV on, it was on the Discovery Channel; a documentary about giraffes giving birth, if i recall correctly. xD I never have watched That's So Raven since then, and I don't plan to. That episode just kind of ruined it for me.

I don't like Steven universe. I have tried to get into it, It just feels like it is trying too hard to be an anime...and while the background are nice, the character's designs don't really mesh well with it, in my opinion. Please don't hurt me.

The Iron Giant! I rented it from Netflix with the DVD thing...It is amazing that a movie made so long ago can still hold up today. -

I have two, I couldn't choose. In Dream Team, there was a moment where Mario entered Luigi's subconscious, and inside of it, you saw things flying toward the screen that resembled Luigi, and what Luigi truly felt. Stuff mainly about how Mario is his biggest fan, and how he would do anything. Even referencing the times Mario has ditched him to go on an Adventure without him. It is not only sad, but heartwarming all in one big ball. In Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, The Mushroom Kingdom is affected with "The Blorbs" which makes toads swell up to an enormous size, before exploding. How this is explained in the opening of the game is sad, and it is even hinted at that many have already passed away before the government finally stepped in. Really eerie stuff.

mega thread What MLP Forums Members do you admire?
One-Punch Man replied to Chantilly Angel's topic in General Discussion
I would like to admire all the members that like My Little Pony. So..I am guessing quite a few of them. -
Listen, Morty, I hate to break it to you but what people call "love" is just a chemical reaction that compels animals to breed. It hits hard, Morty, then it slowly fades, leaving you stranded in a failing marriage. I did it. Your parents are gonna do it. Break the cycle, Morty. Rise above. Focus on science.

What do you prefer on chips/fries? Ketchup or Mayonnaise?
One-Punch Man replied to Spikey-Wikey's topic in General Discussion
Mayo is revolting :S I prefer ranch on everything..but since that isn't a choice, ketchup on fries will do. xD -
In Japan, Ronald Mcdonald is called Donald Mcdonald due to a lack of a clear "r" sound in Japanese.

friendship games Is anyone else upset at the lack of Shadowbolts in the movie?
One-Punch Man replied to SolyWack's topic in Equestria Girls
I wanted more Sugarcoat! :c All the Crystal Prep students seemed so..mean...I liked how they changed towards the end, but none of them really had my soft spot until the end. I think that was mainly Principal Cinch's fault...because it is obvious throughout the movie, that she can and will draw fear from other students if it means keeping herself above others; she blackmailed Twilight, and would most likely do it to other students for her own gain. She should have been fired or something at the end of the movie...but I don't think the movie even implied that she was fired. I am glad Twilight left towards the end....but all the other students still have to put up with Cinch now! They will still be hassled and blackmailed by her. At least her reputation was spat on some, and maybe she went to the school board and told them what all happened with Midnight Sparkle, and was promptly thrown in the loony bin. -
How would you rate all EQG combined?
One-Punch Man replied to FlitterFlutter's topic in Equestria Girls
3. The original I never enjoyed it all too much..and it felt more like a plot to sell toys than anything. 2. Friendship Games The only reason this one is second is because the friggin' principal. Talk about an awful antagonist..I really did not enjoy her over hammy-ness and cringeworthy song towards the end. Still, the movie focused on telling a story and being smart with it. It did not focus entirely on the humor, which I thought was awesome, and had a lot of heart...showing that Sunset is alright on her own when it comes to facing these super natural entities. Also, Acadeca is on my top ten list for best My Little Pony songs in general. 1. Rainbow Rocks Trixie sang in this one....good lord, I had a field day with that. The songs were great, the story was superb, the Sirens were funny, and had great chemistry...It showed the redemption of Sunset, whom I hated at the time for how she was in the Original film. This is my second favorite movie of 2014, only being trumped by The Lego Movie. I just couldn't see any fault in it. Oh, and Maud Pie's scene was gold. -

5. Lesson Zero I love this episode because of how much I relate to it; I understand Twilight's frustrations with having to quickly make and solve a friendship problem, because I have constantly procrastinated writing book reports, or something like that..and ended up having to rush through them. While My and Twilight's problems are on two different wavelengths..I could still feel some of her pain. I enjoyed seeing her in some what of vulnerable position, too; especially when Twilight was about to get in trouble with Celestia for not reporting on friendship. The comedy really shines in this episode, too. 4. magic Duel This episode established my love with Trixie Lulamoon. Trixie is just so hammy and quirky it is hard not to love her, she has such a bad attitude, with a tender side underneath all that. Fluttershy's bit was hilarious in this episode as well, with her dressed up as a spy to get out of the giant glass bowl Trixie put over the town. Also...Trixie fears wheels...so that is a thing. 3. Maud Pie With my Little Pony, you are always expecting the unexpected with each passing episode. I wasn't expecting a giant laser fight at the end of season four..I wasn't expecting Trixie to have such a fun role in Rainbow Rocks, and I wasn't expecting Maud Pie. Maud Pie is one of the best characters this show has created, because she sets herself apart from all the other ponies with her style of speaking, and creative poetry. Maud's humor is dry, and makes every situation super strange when she is apart of it. The writers really went all out with this premise too, giving Maud a pet rock named Boulder, to her eating one of Rarity's gems. Maud may seem one note, but they actually dip into her personality a bit when she saves Pinkie's life too...which is always a plus to me. 2. Make New Friends but Keep the Discord Seeing an entity like Discord become jealous over Fluttershy of all things is such an interesting look into his personality. Discord is hard-headed, filled to the brim with his ego, not afraid to embarrass himself in front of crowds for attention...oh and he gets slammed down by Maud Pie of all things. Tree Hugger, while not the most fleshed out character, was incredibly funny to watch. Her personality, much like how I said Maud's was, is different, unique, and made me want to root for her and Discord at the same time. This episode focuses mainly on the comedy it can come up with using this one simple premise, and man does it work in it's favor. The Smooze should have been around more though... 1. Rainbow Rocks Yes, I love this movie. It has a great amount of my favorite character, Trixie, and even gives her a SONG. I burst out in happiness when I heard her sing, too! Maud Pie makes an appearance, Sonata Dusk is one of the cutest things alive, and Sunset Shimmer gets her chance to show all of her good traits over her display in Equestria Girls. It is a tale of redemption, and learning to forgive others for what they did in the past might be hard, but it isn't impossible. The Sirens were my favorite part of this movie and are probably my second favorite in the villain category.

How has My Little Pony affected you in real life?
One-Punch Man replied to Tranquil Claw's topic in Sugarcube Corner
This may sound cliche...but the show effectively saved my life. I was being bullied a few years back, I had to switch schools to get it to stop. I was ashamed of that...and locked myself in my room. I lost weight...80 pounds...and became sickly and depressed. All the while, I was learning about bronies and what they were. I didn't understand them, honestly. I tried watching the show, but I wasn't convinced. Around this time, my grandmother passed away, and my friends began to move on to other things. I just felt down all the time. I was kind of like MoonDancer...actually. I won't get anymore into it, because it gets sadder..but I watched ponies more, and became addicted. xD Thank the lord I found the show and this group of people! -
On a scale from one to ten, I would rate Friendship games an eight. I didn't like Principal Cinch all that much, she was way too hammy and silly...her song was the worst in the movie, and she even resorted to blackmailing poor Twilight. :c But...other than that, I loved it! I mean the whole movie gave me this sense of awe for some reason. It made me think, Sunset is facing the demon she once was head on, and realizing she is capable of doing what (pony)Twilight can do all on her own. Rainbow Rocks was Sunset learning to walk again, and Friendship Games is her taking flight. I can't wait to see where she goes from here! Also, this story seemed more serious than the others. The writers focused on telling an awesome story, and man did they! I was expecting a cameo from Sonata, Aria, and Adagio though...I was sad I didn't see them scheming in Crystal Prep or something. xD I love the Acadeca song..I have been replaying it a lot today! On my scale for the other movies...Rainbow Rocks is an 8, and the original Equestria Girls movie is a 6.

general media Moments That Made You Legitimately Angry
One-Punch Man replied to Castle Bleck's topic in Media Discussion
I have a bit of a list. xD The ending to Dexter was incredibly stupid. The series should have ended after Dexter's wife was killed off. Dexter slowly began to turn into Deb, and Deb became more like Dexter until she died. It was silly. My TV currently has a bunch of white fuzzies on it, signifying something is wrong with it...but I have no idea what. Everyone is afraid to mess with it. When life injects me into forced mellow drama, and I have to sit back and roll with the punches. Realizing a lot of my classic childhood shows, Dexter's Lab, PowerPuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, Spongebob, Fairly Odd Parents..are all going on too long and becoming a gross parody of what it once was... ..Now all this anger is making me sad.
