If the show does not say otherwise (like if she goes her own way after the season 7 premiere) than I guess she will be in the movie. But she would probably not have a big role. She would probably just guarding Twilgiht's castle.

Every offical animation is canon (show, movies & shorts). Comics and books are secondary canon and can get denied by the animations. Lastly come the toys. They can get denied by the animations, comics and books.

Who said that they are a couple? To me it looked more like a vacation love and Sci will definitely be in the specials, since she is one of the most important characters after Sunset. But to be honest, by this point I do not think that Flash will come together with any Twilight. I guess Flash x Derpy would be more likely than Flash x any Twilight.

Yeah, I know what you mean. When I am outside I can look at the necklace and listen to her songs (Rebecca's voice always makes me feel better ~), and at home I have a picture of her that I drew when I was bored at school, as well as merchandise. Sunset simply keeps me calm.

I know that we will probably never see her in the show, since she is THE equestria girl. But it would still be nice, though... The only song in the MLP franchise that made me actually tear up was Sunset's song "My Past is Not Today", but her part in "Welcome to the Show" almost achieved this. I can also relate to her depression and anxiety. If I need a bit courage I am often wearing a Sunset necklace.

To me Sunset is kind of a mirror, but also an idol. I can relate to her the most out of the franchise, especially to the Sunset in the first and the one in the second movie. I might not be a school bully and I have never been one, but just like Sunset I want to be the best and can not stand it when someone is better in something than I am...What can lead to sudden aggression outbreaks. I also do not really respect my teachers and skip school a lot to learn things I am actually interested in and in my own way (I guess, you could count this to "Sunset leaving Celestia"?). But I am also an outcast like she was in Rainbow Rocks, and in Legend of Everfree I could also realte to her teasing Sci. That is kind of how I am when I am feeling comfortable around people. But the main thing, why I can relate to her, is her struggle with forgiving and forgetting her past. The end of the second movie is when Sunset also became an idol to me, even though I am not really interested in making friends. I hope we will see her in the show sometime.
