      Meh. No. White and blue are easily distinguishable. Plus, the saturation and value are different enough to see.

      It's not easily distinguishable. They are different enough to see, yes, but it doesn't mean that it's good. I think any design professional would agree. It's just a terrible idea in general and kinda lowers the overall value of MLPForums. albiet, not by very much, but still...

    The character design is how the character is position on the page, the pose, how the white space is handled, the colors used, the proportions, the line quality, the form, etc. All of which are well done on that drawing. The colors form a nice unison, the white space is balanced, the proportions have a very pleasing form to them. for more information about design google "the principles of design" Save images for the web in png almost always. It is only scaleable infinitely if its vector and saved in a vector format. SVG files can scale infinitely I wouldn't pay more or less if you used vectors or vexels. All that matters is the finish product.

    If you vectored then you'd know if it was vectored. Vector art is a type of drawing that is lossless and can be scaled infinitely because the drawing is decided mathematically. It's not tracing. It's well done because the design is better than the other ones. There is more to art than just the style it's done in.

    Id say 2-5$ is a reasonable price range. It all depends on how much time it takes for you to make one of your drawings. I'd think that most would be in the 3$ range since they have no background and the shading is relatively simple. I'd probably pay 6-7$ for the first image though, it's very well done. So maybe like 2 - 3$ for just the ponies themselves, 4-5$ for the pony+other things.

    Who cares, neither of you invented grim dark drawings or that style. Do you know how many hairy lined drawings I've seen? Many. Btw not using references is not something to brag about especially when your drawings aren't 100% accurate.

    The hotel was free because my family travels like it's nobodies buisness, the passes were like 30 dollars and you can spend however the fuck much you want on merch. Around total it probably cost me 150 dollars. If you want to be financially secure then I'd recommend like 500$ depending on how long you plan to be at the con.

    Hello, This is just a thread to discuss social networking links and other methods of sharing your content. Based on a recent (9:50 est, 2/11/13) screenshot from feld0, the current social networking websites included are Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr. In addition we will be able to embed the pony.fm music player on other websites. As you can see from the image, the Facebook and Twitter buttons are the kind that shows likes/tweets as a counter. It may seem small and insignificant, but I am against these kinds of counter buttons. When in the presence of other social networking buttons (that don't have a special counters) they look unbalanced and out of place. I would prefer social networking buttons that are simply the icons of the website they represent and link directly to the page as aposed to showing the likes or tweets from that page. Plus this way you can also more easily stylize the icon to match the website's design. I'd also like to see Google+, StumbleUpon and just plain email buttons added. Anyone else have any comments regarding the the ways to share your content? Any other websites you think should be added? The referenced screenshot:

    That is why you get good grades in high school and go to a four year college. Either way, though, colleges of all types suck. At least a four year you have a higher chance of having more military support? In exchange, however, you get incompetent teachers, prehistoric policies and horrible, horrible, bureaucracy.

    That is more or less what I said with my system except it's just in a different layout. It's hard to say which I like better. The problem with your system is that I would still need to make multiple tabs if I wanted to see multiple notifications.

    Well a good design is enough for me to want to use a website. EQbeats looks very empty with their mostly white design. I currently don't use EQbeats because their options for finding music are rather weak. I rarely know what kind of song I am looking for when I am looking for new brony music. As such, the search bar doesn't really help much. In my mind, EQbeats is for artists only, and stops short of being somewhere to go for new music. It doesn't really seem to allow for much in the way of sharing and becoming known. Not to mention that I can subscribe to an artist and get notifications when they add content, something you can't do on EQbeats. pony.fm is already shaping up to be better than EQbeats. IE: If it looks good and I can find music on it then you have my traffic.
