Morning Rose

I'm 24 and got 25 as my age, so I guess that's about right? Quiz aside, i'm honestly not sure. In some ways i'm probably a lot more mature than some people my age, but in others I could say that i'm probably a lot farther behind than I should be. I would consider my situation to be a mixed bag.

I don't think many people would dispute the fact that I am (all things considered) a total failure, >.< . I mean, objectively speaking... I just am. I don't even think it's realistic to say that I have a "life", considering that I barely exist at all.

I don't really go to sleep for the night, per se. What I usually do is take three (sometimes four) short naps a day. I consider 9am-10am to be the start of my day, though, so maybe that?

1. It's covered in hearts. I love almost anything with hearts on it, so seeing them as my decorations makes me feel more at ease. 2. I have a lot of Disney-orientated decorations, including (completed/framed) puzzles, poster, pictures, etc.. 3. Its natural state is to be a dump, but i've managed to keep it clean the last few weeks. 4. I'm still in the room that I grew up in. 5. The doorknob on my door is broken, x.x . If I shut my door all the way, it can be really hard to get it open again. 6. It has some pieces of old furniture, like one of those circular (moon?) chairs. 7. I have two bookshelves and another shelf that has some books on it, but it mostly has other things on it. 8. I have two Precure wallscrolls and one Hyperdimension Neptunia wallscroll hanging up. 9. The are plushies all around my room. I like collecting plushies, and while most of them are on my bed, I couldn't possibly fit them all on it, x.x 10. I have a lamp with Frozen characters on it, but I almost never remember to use it... Instead, I tend to keep the light on my ceiling fan on.

Certain things can set me off almost instantly, but my temper is almost always under control. Plus, even when I do get angry, it doesn't take long for it to subside and for things to go back to normal.

My online personality and my offline personality are almost exactly the same, with the main difference being that my social anxiety inhibits me a little less online than it does IRL. Maybe a lot less, but i'm still pretty shy even online. If I don't know or trust you IRL, I tend to not talk very much... if I do come to know and trust you, though, my personality becomes pretty similar to my online counterpart. Another way to describe it would be: At my best, I consider myself to be caring, generally good-natured and accepting, humorous (because I like to make people smile, if I can), and maybe a bit mischievous, too. At my worst, I can sometimes be cold, bitter, and emotionally unavailable... Fortunately, i'm in a better place (emotionally speaking) than I used to be, though, so those traits don't have a reason to pop up very often.

Mostly because I felt it was a cute picture, Sunset Shimmer will always be my favorite, but I was going through a Silver Spoon mini-phase when I picked it, I guess.

If I had to directly choose between being alive and being dead, and there were no adverse consequences to either choice, I would choose to be dead... However, because that isn't the case, I have to continue on. Especially for my family's sake.

Steins;Gate 0. I dunno, i'm not liking it as much as the visual novel. I feel like they're skimming over too much content, and frankly, i'm not sure how they're going to make the anime last another 11 or 12 episodes...

Oooh, pink Starbursts are great, <3 . I like yellow starbursts a lot, too.

I like red and pink pretty equally! My favorite shooting game is Unreal Tournament III, <3 . It's a lot of fun, imo.

As a transgender person, it really gets frustrating to be called something like a "social justice warrior" just for wanting to be treated humanely. Wanting to be recognized as who I am feels like asking for the impossible oftentimes on the internet; would it really be that much trouble just to show an ounce of respect? I'm not trying to force anyone to date me or anything like that, but just simply being recognized as a girl really does give a strong sense of relief. It would likely be a problem in real life too, if people knew about it, but I am very fortunate. My transition has gone very well, and i'm never misgendered. They would never find out unless I told them. There ARE people out there who are extremists, but the general hate has made it harder for the more reasonable people to have their opinion genuinely be heard.

Watching MLP, Strawberry Shortcake or watching Fresh Precure (my favorite anime) usually helps me cheer up a little, . Talking to my boyfriend helps, too.
