  1. 20 years apparently. t. Texan You do realize that a nice big chunk of mainland U.S. is desert right
  2. I'd like to say that there's clearly a lot of talent behind the live action remake coming out tomorrow. That said, it's lifeless, colorless, unexpressive, and has no character.. I wouldn't rather watch a Lion King themed nature documentary than the original. This and every other live action remake are gonna be a hard pass from me. That's exactly the issue. The original Lion King is good, so of course the remake is gonna be good by default as long as it's true to the source material. The visuals are definitely impressive but they're unfitting, and the story itself is impressive but that's because it's literally from a movie that already exists and nearly everyone loves.
  3. G5's fanbase will probably mostly be carried over from G4, with maybe a few new viewers from the press the show will get when it first airs, so no. The only way I could see G5's fandom being as big if not bigger than G4's is if they manage to create a lot of press for it. G4 got a lot of free press but they're going to have to put in a bit more effort for G5.
  4. I actually don't remember if my insurance covered it or not. I'd ask your doctor about it.
  5. That's understandable. Just a warning though, patches don't come cheap, a month's supply ran me $300 when I was on them. Injections are a really cheap option but they have a learning curve and ofc the first few weeks of having to stick yourself with a needle are really scary.
  6. Have you considered trying injections instead? Are you dissolving them sublingually?
  7. Only show on Nick that I cared about and wasn't canceled after like 1 or 2 seasons was Spongebob, and they didn't always air it. I liked almost everything airing on CN though, so I usually watched that instead.
  8. Find a doctor who'll prescribe you HRT on informed consent. I'm sure there's at least one where you're from, but they can be pretty difficult to find if you don't know where to look.
  9. Probably a crow or raven, or some other type of goth birb.
  10. thinking about renewing my wow sub probably won't if anyone still plays, how's 8.2?
  11. I consider myself straight. Mostly straight, anyway. I've crushed on and even dated a few girls. I'm just not typically attracted to them.

    mega thread Metal Thread

I imagine the comments on that video are very good.
  13. Love it in the sense that it's fine example of this world's natural beauty and has nearly perfect weather? Absolutely. Love it in the sense that it's well run, has a respectful population, and isn't a shit place to live if you're LGBT+? Hell no.
  14. I like having something to do but I also like peace and quiet, so I really can't choose between the two. Solution: I like the suburbs.
  15. As shit as the political situation was down in Texas, I do often miss it and would honestly rather live there than where I grew up.
  16. I used to be one, I could probably still be considered one, just depends on what you mean by "atheist". I still reject the teachings of most major religions and nearly all religious labels, including "atheist".
  17. Probably Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, for what they both contributed to political/economic philosophy. And these two as well, for what they contributed to the LGBT+ rights movement.
  18. This is a weirdly specific question. I suppose all the redundant ones like q and c
  19. Dunno. I've only been here a few weeks.
  20. I like coffee but caffeine is a problem for me in higher doses. I tend to grind my teeth a lot and become restless and anxious when I have too much.
  21. Garrosh Hellscream and Arthas Menethil from the Warcraft series. Both really interesting and well-written tragic villains in my opinion.
  22. My view on them? I look at them with my eyes, that's how I view them. Serious answer: Disney quality is hit or miss. The only relatively consistent period in Disney's history was the '90s, and even then, Pocahontas existed. Nowadays Disney movies all feel soulless, including Pixar.
  23. Former-former-fan, if that makes sense. I started watching in season 1 and stopped after season 3. Glad I came back, because I found some new favorite episodes that came out long after I stopped.
