  1. And here we are... The end of FiM. I have to say, I never really thought it would end. I knew it would have to, someday. But I wasn't prepared for it. After my seven years with the show, It's all over... And I wasn't expecting anything in the episodes. Sure, I knew the villains were gonna fail and that Twilight would take the crown. But I didn't expect much else. I can now see all the signs that showed us that Grogar was Discord the whole time, as well as his motive behind it all. Most notably, the fact that Grogar couldn't seem to tell that his bell was hidden sometimes just behind a rock just feet away from him. Though, at the time I agreed with DRWolf's theories about that. And how they were defeated by everyone, rather than just Twilight and her friends, via the same rainbow attack style as Nightmare Moon and Discord, as well as being turned to stone. That defeat and punishment was really fun for me. And when I watched it, it felt like half an episode had passed by the time I had elapsed nearly the entire special. I just had fun with the finale. And I think this one will be among my most re-watched episodes, just behind maybe some from Season 3 and the Epilogue. But beyond that, beyond what I did or did not expect, beyond the story of the episode itself. Above all, this episode will go down as one of the three most important events in the show's history for me, Friendship is Magic parts 1 and 2, Magic Mystery Cure, and The End of the End parts 1 and 2. Those three events are the most important, I think, to not only she show, but also to Twilight as a character. And now, I won't have pony to look forward to every week, and I will no longer anxiously wait for the hiatus to end so I can get new pony. Sure, the comics will go on but nothing will quite be like the show. And I'm looking forward to the next movie and Gen5. I think I'll like those. I don't think it'll be fair to compare Gen4 and Gen5, since they'll probably be nearly as different as Gen3 and Gen4, so I don't think it should be looked at that way. But that's beyond the point. I love FiM, and I probably will for as long as I will live. It's something special. It may not be objectively as good as other shows, and may not be the most important show to exist by a long shot, but it's not comparable to anything else since it has just meant so much to me and everyone else here, I'm sure. So I would like to say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you everyone who made this possible. Thank you Hasbro for green-lighting this series, thank you Lauren Faust for the creative direction at the beginning, thank you to the animators and DHX for bringing it to life, thank you to all the writers for giving us the characters and stories that we'll remember forever. And thank you all, the community, for making this past 9 years what it's been. All the art, stories, creativity, socializing... Everything. Thank everyone involved for making it happen, and for one of the biggest highlights of the 2010s. I hope to keep seeing you all keep active, even if it's outside of pony. Doing what you love, having fun. Being a community. Thank you, and I hope this isn't goodbye forever.
  2. Hold up, a K-Mart? I didn't think any still existed. I personally go to Trader Joe's and Safeway but we also have a Walmart and a Target. (I include them because they have a grocery section) Sidenote: I went to SoCal and saw a whole lot of foreign markets, like Stater Bros. and Ralphs which I suspect may be the same people as Safeway or perhaps a Kroger store.
  3. Minecraft, daily. I now realize that I’ve been playing the same game and watching the same show for 8 and 7 years respectively
  4. They're hiding the portal to Equestria in there.
  5. I really like her! One of my favorite details is that the color around her snout is teardrop shape, like her cutie mark! As well as splotches of color on and around the hooves, mimicking socks has always been a favorite of mine. And going by her cutie mark I can assume that her talent has something to do with water? Which is nice with the coat and mane color picked matching that. I suppose you did say that you had been doing art for quite a long time so this should have all been a given, but I still love it!
  6. Aloe and Lotus have always been aesthetically pleasing to me. It's probably the contrast that's made when they stand beside each other, along with the fact that I just like the colors they're made of. And I really like this piece of yours as well! Helped by the contrast being kept with their socks and headbands.
  7. Name: JosieType: EarthGender: MaleAppearance: Rad coat with long, black hair.Cutie Mark: Currently undecidedHobbies: Problem solving, (Attempted) Novelist, Napping (Typically during free time)Additional Details: Josie was created since I needed a 'base pony' for practicing my drawing skills, but I gave him a name and personality. I'ts not fully fleshed out and may still need work, but I'll get there. He is also to be a character in some of the Fan Fictions I aim to write in the future. Photo (Sorry for crappy quality, it's old.):
  8. Same. I have been since 2012 when I first watched it. Only now joined the forums tho. I'ts been at the point where it's the only thing I watch, and had been for some odd 7 years now, with some spurts of other things mixed in for a few seasons or so.
  9. Welcome to the forum! I hope you have a wonderful time here!
  10. I... Never thought of that... "Botanically speaking, a fruit is a seed-bearing structure that develops from the ovary of a flowering plant" You know, that makes sense. Ya learn something new every day.
  11. Welcome to the MLP Forums! I hope you have a great time here! a little overview of what we've got here: Canterlot is for forum stuff like updates, feedback, technical support and introducing yourself! Events is exactly what it sounds like. It's the overview of events such as Fanfic readings, Bronycon Stuff, The Annual Christmas Charity drive and some others. My Little Pony Is just for discussion about the franchise as a whole, of course they have FiM Show Discussion, Stuff about Merch, meetups, all that stuff, Older Generations and more! Roleplay World Is exactly what it sound like. Octavia's Hall is for fan works, whether Written or Visual. There's also Pony Games & Apps and Non-Pony fan work. Beyond Equestria is for topics that have little no nothing to do with MLP. Here you can have General Discussion or get Life Advice. damn this has a lot of hyperlinks. Poniverse is for other sites run by the same service I think runs the forums. And finally, Conventions. I'm not sure why Bronycon isn't listed here. If you have any questions feel free to ask me or anypony else!
  12. I either download then from YT to mp3 via iTunes or in vinyl record.
  13. Oranges and Mangoes! I love both of them about equally, I do have oranges more though. Mango seeds are really hard to separate though.
  14. I actually really liked the episode. It actually gave development to the princesses for one. Beyond Celestia sometimes goofing around what seemed like only twice before, and A Royal Problem the princesses haven't had much development. So it was really nice to see them go out and to what they thought was fun and had always wanted to do. One of my favorite parts of the episode was Luna being so excited to go to the post office. How for the last thousands of years she had been going around ponies dreams and seeing the most imaginative things ever, how the one thing she's always wanted to do was send something through the mail. And even though the plot is kind of very much predictable, I still liked it and and lesson it taught in the end. Oh, and the Mane 6 side plot should have been expanded into it's own episode of them learning how to delegate tasks. It was the most boring part of the episode. I still enjoyed it, but liked the Princess story much more.
  15. Better Way to Be Bad (Remix) -Toby Macarony Love it.
  16. It's got to be a tie between the Kirin and Changelings. (Both pre and post reformation.) I love the Kirin based on not only their design but also the strangeness of their first appearance. No talking or vocal noise of any kind... I loved it especially compared to our talkative main cast. And the Changelings also gave me something I'd never seen before. Before A Canterlot Wedding, the show was set up as a bright, fun loving kids show. Though even then it had many elements that I enjoy. But then you get the Changelings. Able to impersonate anypony we see almost perfectly besides memories and personality, of course. And to see all this play out after what came before. I loved it. I definatley and obviously have more nostalgia for the Changelings, which is why they slightly edge out the Kirin, but looking back on it, I love them both equally!
  17. While I personally liked 100 more, I don't think them to be all that directly comparable. Since 100 is more a love letter to the fans of the show, and 200 is more a love letter to the voice actors of the main cast. So in what each wanted to do, I think they did it wonderfully.
