    Everything was sunny and sparkly up until five minutes ago. Now it’s gray, dark, and clouded with dense ice flakes, and I can’t see across the street anymore.

    I got sick this week. 

    I have no concept of day or night, and it feels like weeks have gone by. 

    Maybe by the time I recover, I’ll find out that the apocalypse came and went and that I’m the last surviving human on Earth. :kirin:

    Occasionally. It’s not a habit, but I can do it, and I usually only do it when I’m about to write or in the middle of writing fiction.

    I just ran into someone I know. We were friends as kids, but I recently (and by that I mean this year, so not that recently) learned that they did something not so great (read: horrible). And I can’t reconcile the person I know with the person who did this horrible thing. 

    They said hi to me, and I had no idea how to respond, so I just said “Oh, hi.” 

    I just feel so conflicted. I can’t picture them doing something so terrible.

      You did the right thing responding though. Sometime you don't know what really happened, and you can't be the final judge. It is not your job to be the judge.
