    I actually like gen 3/3.5! It's gotten so much hate from the community for seemingly no reason. If you think the characters look ugly it's up to you, but I don't believe that's a reason to detest the entire show! Personally, I think the designs are cute. Are the plots simple? Mostly yes, but as a lot of people have said, that's because of the target audience. To me a lot of the songs are good, such as Thing a Ma Do, and Somewhere Super Super New is TOTALLY AWESOME!!! It's perfectly ok if you don't like G3. Just remember that some people have different opinions on things!

    I chose the name TheNewBrony because when I joined MLP Forums I had only been a brony for about a week. I guess I didn't really think about what I should do when a lot of time had passed. Now TheNewBrony isn't the best name for me...

    About a week ago started watching Magic Numbers on Curiosity Stream. I know it's cringy but I love math and science :p Last time you discovered a new place in your area that you had never been to before?

    A while ago (last year or the year before that), I asked my mom, "What's My Little Pony about?" She replied, "Oh it's just a stupid show for 8 year old girls." Thinking back I assume she was talking about the old generations and not FiM because she didn't know FiM was a thing. I asked her if I should watch and episode to see what it was about and she said to not bother because I would hate it. A long time went by, and 1-2 weeks ago, I was bored in my bedroom by myself. I went on my computer and watched one episode of MLP FiM, thinking I would hate it. I was wrong. I loved it! Later I found out I had viewed S9E1. After I had heard about generations (G1, G2, G3, and G4), I researched them a bit (same day). I decided to stick with FiM, and watched from S1E1. I LOVED the program. I heard about these and Poniverse as a whole, and joined the herd. After about a week, I had watched more than 1 and a half seasons, so I decided to slow down and not burn through the entire show. I'm now an active member on these forums. I want to tell my parents I'm a brony (so I can get merch) but I can't work up the courage to do so. Well, maybe one day I'll be able to.

    2 lined spittlebugs and crickets (either field or house crickets)- I have great memories of myself and my friend in early elementary school on the playground catching and observing them.
