    Read about this a little while ago actually. But the thing that bothers me about media nowadays is what they consider priority. This girl was stabbed to death because she rejected someone. That's horrible and it sucks a lot. But at the same time, Russia is gearin' up for WWIII. My condolences to the family, but I'm more curios and concerned about the potential war that could break out. (Or that sickness that's killing people in record time).

Luna is the younger, overshadowed sibling. Her sister is bright and brings the sun and the day. The sun is warm and bright, as is Celestia. Luna is darker and brings the moon and the night. The night is cold and dark, as Luna turns into. "The ponies relished and played in the day her elder sister brought forth...but shunned and slept through her beautiful night." After years of being basically ignored by all the subjects, she started feeling bitter. "The bitterness in the young one's heart transformed her into a wicked mare of darkness.." Her jealousy and bitterness took over the love she had for her sister. Moreso, Celestia didn't do much to try and stop it until it was too late. I'm curious as to what Celestia's reaction was to Luna transforming. What we saw was Luna transforming and Twilight's reaction; Tia didn't step in until afterwards. "Not another step." "Princess Luna! Where are we? Why did you and Celestia disappear?" Did you really expect me to sit idly by while they all bask in your precious light?!" "Precious light?" "There can only be one Princess in Equestria..and that Princess will be ME!" .... .... .... "Luna! I will not fight you! You must lower the moon! It is your duty!" "Luna? I am..Nightmare Moon."

    I've seen my fair share of grimdark MLP things, and it doesn't do much for me. I just kind of roll my eyes and shrug it off. It just seems to me like people are trying too hard to make themselves seem edgy while they watch a cartoon show about pastel ponies for children. To each their own. I have my own fascination with gore, but it's not the same with cartoons. I will say that the animation is pretty damn good though. Enjoyable to watch.

    I'm completely fine with grimdark, but it's not..gory enough. Cartoon violence with pastel coloured ponies just seems a bit silly to me. My fascination leads me to a couple dark subreddits, both of which are NSFL. Gore mixed with ponies just seems like someone's trying too hard.

    The thing I've noticed about tumblr is that things are either too simple or far too over-thought. On one hand someone could be one of the numerous sexualities that I still don't understand and be completely accepted, but on the other hand they could be homophobic and suddenly they're worse than Satan. To each their own, which is what they preach, but it's exactly what they're against at the same time. Me personally, I don't care about tumblr's "social justice warriors". They just sit on their asses and hit the reblog button while complaining about how fucked up this planet is.

    I think it'd be a cop-out if they did. As much as I love Luna and Nightmare Moon, seeing a return of NMM would be a cop-out as well. Unless it was foreshadowed that Luna was still jealous and progressively getting angrier, but even then. I'd like more unique villians that have an actual goal that makes sense (unlike Chryssie and her army) and more screentime/backround (unlike Sombrero).

    Well Luna's already been blasted to the moon by her own dear sister. I'm sure she'd be fine. Hell, she'd just go all Royal Canterlot Voice/NIghtmare Moon on whoever it was and kill them herself.
