  1. I landed a few lead roles in all sorts of musicals, so I assume I can sing. l0l. I enjoy singing, yet I don't really ask for other's opinions about my voice, so I don't know what others REALLY think about my voice.
  2. I've decided that it was about time that my OC gets some concept art. My computer is down at the moment, so I had to use Notability on iPad to draw him. Once I get my new computer, I'll add all the finishing refinements to him, and post the final version sometime. This is the first time I've ever drawn a pony, and I'd like to hear your feedback!
  3. Shattered Skies is the only game I have that I actually beat 100%. S Rank on all Ace difficulty missions. Ace Combat Zero and 5 have weird S Rank requirements that I haven't always been able to meet, even on the easier difficulties, as opposed to "Get X points for S Rank" from Shattered Skies.
  4. Underrated Games Thread I'm a kind of guy who goes often against the grains of society. Therefore, it's no question that I'd play some out-of-the-normal games, and many of them turn out to be real gems. What games have you played that barely gets any attention? Ace Combat series- the story, gameplay, and episodic structure of the missions always made the Ace Combat series stand out from the rest. Zero had one of the best stories I had ever seen in a war game, neck and neck with MGS3. Assault Horizon was an absolute bust, however. Airforce Delta Strike- I'm not an Okatu fan or whatever here, but the futuristic, sci-fi, anime style of AFDS really set it apart from other games. It had a lot of airplanes at your disposal (130+), a ton of different missions, ranging from blowing up a space elevator, flying into a subway tunnel with a P-38 to destroy tanks and VTOL jets, and, perhaps my favorite part of the entire game, flying modified fighter planes like F-15s and F/A-18s into space. Certainly, it wasn't up to par with the Ace Combat series, but it's still an enjoyable title that I still play even to this day. Sky Drift- think of it as Mario Kart with WWII planes. It's a neat concept to fly modernized WWII planes in competitive air races through tropical islands, snowy mountains, and the like. The graphics were pretty damn good for an independent game, and the gameplay was high-speed and frantic. Just the way I like it. Enthusia: Professional Racing- all I can say is holy crap did Konami really outdo themselves in their first racing sim. Extremely realistic car physics that surpass that of Gran Turismo 4, and even modern games like Forza 4 and Gran Turismo 5 really make this game a beauty. Normally, it takes a company many tries to get a great racing sim, and while Enthusia not being perfect, really hit the nail on the head. These are really the only games I can really think of off the top of my head at the moment. Share your underrated classic games here!
  5. We most certainly were recording it! Unbeknownst to you, hundreds of millions of people actually got the opportunity to hear you sing!
  6. "Well, geez," Red Talon said, "I'm quite flattered by all of this. A huge dinner to commemorate my new sponsor. That's a pretty good signing bonus, if I would say so myself." After the family finished their dinners, Red Talon, exhausted, decided to head back to his home for the night. "Thanks for the dinner tonight, everypony!" Red Talon said. "I'm gonna have to get going, so I'll see y'all later!"
  7. You said you don't sing? What about Racist Barn, erm, I mean, Raise this Barn? You sang in that!!!
  8. People were so offended by Derpy because she was seen by many as a mocking toward the mentally challenged. "Derp" is often connected with mental retardation, and with the combination of her derped eyes, referral as "Derpy," her clumsiness, and her speech patterns, parents saw it as an attack on those with mental disabilities. I gave you an answer, so here's a question I have, not just for you, but for everypony here. If her name was officially "Ditzy Doo," do you think that soccer moms wouldn't have raised as much a fuss about it?
  9. I use Paint.net very often, as I can't exactly afford Adobe Photoshop. I have some various video editing software, but I REALLY wanna make a decent and funny YTP, but my current software probably can't do that. If only decent video editing software wasn't so damn expensive.
  10. This whole "Dragon Code" thing just seemed all at the spur of the moment. I mean, he's been saved trillions of times in the past, why did the Dragon Code not kick in there? Maybe Spike used it as an excuse to be with Applejack (I bet all those Applespike fanboys/girls were raving about this episode)? Either way, I found the episode to be quite enjoyable. Maybe I just enjoy Spike's silly antics getting him into trouble, or because there's more Applejack, but I think this is one of the best episodes from Season 3 so far.
  11. Let's get this straight, shall we? (Not trying to be confrontational here) Basically, your parents are wanting to change, basically, who you are, and what your interests are. Well, for starters, it's your life. In a few years, you'll be movin' out of your parents' house, and living your own life. Even when you're still in your parents' home, as the years go by, you become less and less dependent on them. Plus, it's none of their business what shows you like and don't like. My parents are huge fans of The Walking Dead, yet I could care less for that show. Do I tell them that they need to stop watching the show just because I don't like it? Nope, because their interest in the show doesn't affect me in any way, shape, or form. So what I'm trying to say here is that you gotta try to get your parents to realize that your interest in FiM has close to no bearing on your parents' life. Let your parents know that their basically contradicting themselves with the whole "be yourself" mentality they instilled in you. Contradicting parents are bad parents. Now I don't exactly know how your parents think, but if you do bring up to them that they're being hypocritical, they'll probably change their opinion about whether you can be a Brony or not.
  12. I would sit here and go off on a rant about how stupid it is that a fan character gets her own event just because said character got a couple of lines for one episode, but I suppose that would be improper of me to do so. But hey, like you said, it shows that they know that we Bronies exist! But does it really deserve it's own event?
  13. Here's an old Macintosh advert from, probably, '95. Cracks me up every time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V51OJr0ee6E The NAPA Know How commercials were also pretty entertaining. Now if only Michael Waltrip would stay a race announcer, and never step into a NASCAR stock car ever again. What a beautiful day that would be... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKhcZlDcu4I
  14. International Derpy Day? You've gotta be friggin' kidding me. This stupid obsession over a BACKGROUND PONY is really was irks me the most about this fandom. -_-

  15. For all you guys wanting to stop the Stop the Bronies club, trying to change the minds of a bunch of idiot, narrow minded, 11 year olds that think about COD and nothing else is like beating a dead horse. The Cleveland Browns' Super Bowl chances are better than the chances that the average 11 year old ROBLOXIAN will stop acting like an idiot. Either way, it's still pretty funny to see what kind of goat-shit the ROBLOXIANS will try to come up with.
  16. Roblox? Seriously? Roblox? The biggest excuse of an MMO Sandbox game ever created? That game is chock full of idiot 11 year olds who think they are cool by using "noob" completely out of context and bitch nonstop and accuse people for hacking just because they got killed in a shit COD knockoff game?. It really doesn't surprise me that this is from Roblox. Take everything people say on Roblox with a grain of salt, because 9 out of 10 times, it's from an 11 year old kid who doesn't know any better. Knowing that this is from the Roblox community, I'm not bothered by it in the slightest bit.
  17. Judging by MLP's popularity, it would be a stupid move for Hasbro to cancel after Season 3. That being said, they have to keep the quality of the episodes to an acceptable level, obviously. Should they fail to do so, and ratings go down, THEN we'll start to worry about the downfall of FiM. Other than that, from what I've seen, the show and fandom is still going strong! Besides, Season 3 was only 13 episodes because, allegedly, it is supposed to leave more room for better seasons in the future. Here's hoping that's true.
  18. (facehoof) Did you not read my last sentence? I stated clearly that it was all my opinion. Everything preceding that last sentence was all my opinion. Maybe it didn't sound that way, but that's all it is. An opinion.
  19. "Holy..." Red Talon said, awestruck by the sheer amount of food prepared. After everypony had their fair share on their plates, the family and Red Talon began to chow down on their meals. "Good eats here," Talon said, making sure he wasn't talking with his mouth full (that's rude). "Do you always have meals on this grand of a scale? This is amazing!"
  20. I'd have to say Wrong by Depeche Mode is my theme song. Basically, this song describes my "going against the grains of society" personality. I never really catch on to the whims of society, rather, I'm blazing my own trail. How does this song relate to that, you might be asking. Well, I often feel that due to my nonconformity, I feel as if I really was "born in the wrong place at the wrong time," as I'm pretty different from the average Joe. I often find it hard to get along with people due to differing personalities, ideals, thoughts, and interests. Sometimes, it doesn't feel like this world was the right place for me due to my differences from everypony else. Now, everypony is different, but I feel more... different than others, to be perfectly honest. I don't know of very many people who have similar ideals, interests, and thoughts as me. Like I said, that probably goes with everypony, but I have a VERY difficult time finding common ground amongst people, no matter how hard I try.
  21. With all due respect, and I am saying WITH ALL DUE RESPECT (which means I can say whatever I want and get away with it; it's covered in the Geneva Convention) (free cookie if you get that reference), Rainbow Dash is the most unlikable of the Mane 6. Certainly, RD and I both share a passion of going fast and flying, but the thing is, other than that, she has no desirable traits whatsoever. Well, aside from the Scootaloo episode, she's nothing but a cocky, arrogant, self-centered asshat. Sure, she had some moments where she showed her moral side. But other than that, she's lazy as hell, self-centered most of the time, and I just find nothing to like in her character. She's the most overrated of the Mane 6, mostly due to the fact that she has basically no likable traits, and I'm not sure why she gets all the attention she has. Bitch, moan, and whine all you want about my rant, RD fanboys, but that's my absolute honest opinion about Rainbow Dash.
  22. "Well, thanks AJ," Red Talon replies, "that's quite neighborly of you! I guess I can stay for dinner, after all, I haven't eaten much today." Red Talon enters the dining room, finds a spot, and sits down. Seeing all of the delicious food in front of him, his mouth beings to water.
  23. Really? It may be because I'm an AJ fan here, but I found this episode far from the weakest. Of all of them, Wonderbolts Academy was by far the worst out of all 3 seasons. Weak ending, predictable plot twists, it just seemed half assed compared to the rest of the episodes. Certainly, the song wasn't the best, but it definitely is far from the weakest episode.
  24. -trips mikejr- Don't worry AJ, I got him! (Just messing with ya, mike. No harm done.)
  25. "The name's Talon, Red Talon (l0l @ me trying to slide a James Bond reference in somehow)," replied Red Talon. "I'm the race pony Applejack has been talking about. And if my sources are correct, Sweet Apple Acres will be my primary sponsor for the season! I'm sure business is gonna boom for y'all. I won't let Sweet Apple Acres down, I promise!"
