Nope, in the early Sonic games running as fast as you can is only for the pros. Doing so when you first start will only kill you faster. There's only a few parts where you have to run to move onward and that's the loops, twists and in some cases special platforms that only move when you run on top of them like the screws in Metropolis Zone in Sonic 2. Do yourself a favor and take your time. The only time limit in the game is you have to beat a stage (note: not zone, just the stage) within ten minutes because if the clock hits the ten minute mark you automatically die. Trust me on this one, I use to run and run and run and never beat the games. Then I took it slower. Sonic may be the fastest thing alive but that doesn't mean you have to rush. It's like trying to play Mario 1-3 on your first run and rushing through stages, you'll die trying to be fast like the pros.

I've yet to beat Sonic 3 or Sonic & Knuckles with Sonic. Sonic 3 because the final stage is hard, Sonic and Knuckles because I couldn't beat Sky Temple. ...No wait, maybe I did get to the end of S&K Also, no, I don't care if they are meant to be the same game. I always have and always will treat Sonic 3 and S&K as two different games. The S3&K thing just seems more like a DLC pack or something. One thing people seem to think is that because Sonic moves fast that means you have to move fast. That is not the case because taking your time and doing the actual platforming is far more important than doing it faster. Otherwise you get more game overs than you want.

Are you sure? Because in Feeling Pinkie Keen it seemed much more than comedy effect, she was even floating in the air when it happened. It suggests to me that it was more than comedy effect. I thought it was just a comedy effect at first because of the punch bowl being super spicy but after seeing it in Pinkie Keen I could swear it was something more they haven't explained yet. -
So far we've seen a few here and there but do you think we'll get to see all of the powers (kinda) listed in the episode with Trixie in it? Also, what about the fire mane thing? I truly and honestly believe that the fire mane is not a spell but something unique about Twilight. It's happened twice now for no apparent reason without the use of her horn or magic. I believe they are going to use it for something epic involving Twilight.

Isn't it like...illegal to do something like that? The kid could sue his own parents for something like that, couldn't he? They stripped a minor of his home because they don't like a show he watches, it's unreasonable and child services would have a fit at it.

It's always possible to like bad games. Look at me: Sonic 06 is easily one of my favorites in the Sonic series but even I can't say that the game isn't broken as hell.

lol Sorry if I sound stubborn but I have a habit of disregarding all opinions, good or bad, about any game I intend on getting. Letting people influence me before I ever get a game is the worst possible thing for me. I literally bought Star Ocean: The Last Hope International because I was told not to and even if I was a fan of the series so far (even SO3) I would hate it. Guess what? I easily put it on par with SO3 and I have always considered SO3 way better than SO2.

I'll judge them for myself. I've found no game in my life what wasn't worth the money, even if I spent the full 50-60 bucks on it.

Wow, there are so many things I'm surprised I didn't see any of them. They are minor and at the same time...wow. That video goes by a little too fast though. Half the time I have to rewind to even see the text before I can even look at the error. =/ -
Can anyone get me a list of the flash animation errors in the series. I dunno where to look to get it. Yes, I fail. I wanna be able to point them out as I rewatch the series with my ex. (Who I think I can successfully say I turned into a fan)

Wild Guns, Blackthorne, Megaman X, Super Metroid Of all the SNES games I've played, these rank the highest. No, FFVI is not on there, because I don't like that game much at all. Worst FF game imo. Oh shit, add ActRaiser to that too. Love it as much as the others.

Doubt it. I'm the guy who likes Sonic 06, there are very few games that I can't bring myself to get into. The only reason I didn't bother to finish the Black Ops demo was because I wanted the full game if I was gonna put any effort into it. I plan to get every Call of Duty game, I'm told I should play them in order because there's an overall story behind them.

I am, but unfortunately I can't even get it until a couple weeks after it comes out. Oh well, at least I'll have it. I have it preordered from Gamestop so I just gotta get my first paycheck from my new job and I'll head right on over there (it's like a five minute walk from work) The demo further solidified my thoughts that it'll be an amazing game. And then I learned...

Tomorrow I go for the drug test for my job at Wal Mart. I will ace that for sure so I'll be able to start soon. And I'll also get to get my own computer again in a month or two. <3 Whoa, wait a minute, since when was this topic in Cloudsdale!? O.o

I haven't played many FPS but I can say I don't particularly mind if it's got complicated maps and levels like Quake or Timesplitters or if it's just a straight line like Red Steel. Speaking of Red Steel, I feel it is a massively underrated game. People hate it because they wanted to wield a sword but when that mechanic didn't really do well at all people threw it out but I massively enjoyed it. I would say it is definitely on par with it's sequel in a lot of ways.

You should see my Deviantart faves. Since I joined about three or four years ago I've collected almost 9,000 favorites because I just love art so much. On my old computer I had a huge collection of pictures saved to the hard drive as well as a bunch of freeware games that I never play but keep anyway so it fills the thing up. Let's not forget my webcomic and images bookmark folders. I have them pretty filled up right now on my mom's computer and I gotta get everything transferred to a new computer now that I have a job. Plus I gotta get my laptop's stuff transferred.
