I listened to the new Iced Earth album on Spotify.  It's official release is later this month but I managed to sample it in December.

I'm not really fan of death growls, but it sounds really good otherwise :)

 

Muchas gracias, dude. I'm not really a fan of death growls if they're a bands main vocal style, but I don't mind having a few growly phrases injected into our songs for a bit of variety. ;)

Yep, and thanks. Might need to re-re-re-record it, actually, since I found a new bass tone the other day that kicks at least 27 more types of ass than the one in this recording.

Shameless plug, I know, but that single my band released once upon a time ago has been remixed and remastered...now with 30% more death growls, 90% less "dying cat" vox, and 100% better quality:

Not going to lie, sounds a million times better than the original recording... plus the bass sounds awesome this time around.

also i'd recommend some Arkona, Rammstein, Sabaton, Brezno, Avantasia, Wisdom, Powerwolf, Nightwish, SoAD and Ghost B.C if you want some more doom-ish type stuff.

Scar Symmetry is one of the best melodeath groups out there if you ask me, and that is one of their best albums. Worth it, if you ask me.

Thank ya muchly! The artist is our friend Race, who I must admit is a pretty badass artist. Designed both our logo and the album cover free of charge, so the least I can do is give him some free promotion. (Also, cool RD sidewalk drawing ftw. He's not a brony, but he seems to appreciate our community.)
