When's the Worst time to have a birthday?

All right I was thinking, when's the worst time of the year to have a birthday? Like what month. No this thread is not meant for bashing people who have birthdays in said months so if anyone ever mentions your birthday month or whatever, try not to feel offended. 

 

In my opinion, I always think the worst time is around Christmas that is if you celebrate it. From what I've heard, it can be either two things. Either, you get twice as many presents, or people just group your birthday with Christmas and give you one present, saying it's for your birthday and Christmas.

I've always wondered that too. You can't be sure when exactly your birthday is if it's not a leap year. Do you celebrate it on the 28th or the 1st?

Heh, I have to agree with Sunshower there; the actual day only comes around once every four years. Then again, it's not very common to have a birthday on that day, which is pretty cool.

Anything around Christmas tends to be trivial.  Despite everyones best intentions, the holidays are exhausting and there is little time, money or energy to celebrate a birthday at that time.

I would have to say January, February, or march, or any cool month for that matter. Sometimes it sucks living in a part of the US that gets so cold 4 months out of the year and having a birthday on those months sucks even worse because you really can't go out and do anything fun without half freezing to death in the process.

That's another great point. People seem to be focusing more of their time on the holidays than a birthday.

When someone would normally celebrate their 100^th Birthday you will be celebrating your 25^th.

A friend of mine has a birthday where once every 4 or so years, his birthday is on Mother's Day.

Another IRL friend -- one of my best friends in fact -- has a birthday on the same day as my maternal grandfather and my older sister. Yeah, that's one friend's birthday parties I can't go to. :c

I actually had a friend whose dad's birthday was on September 11th. We were at his birthday party when that shit went down. I was really young at the time, but I still remember him sadly proclaim that his birthday was now on September 12th.

December birthdays mine is 12-12 and I can't even get the videogames I want because of my Christmas list lacking but the worst time is most likely on Christmas, I really wish my birthday would've instead been on my half birthday June 12th then I would have a summer vacation birthday so no school pressure over it, and also the party could be better.

Well... Speaking from personal experience, my old Christian school started in August... Specifically around the 23rd, my birthday. That ruined my earlier birthdays, personally. So I would say whichever month school starts would be, as it means you might be starting on or around your bday

Specifically Christmas. Imagine, you don't get presents for your birthday, just Christmas. Sucks.

 

I was born in December 30th, and it sort of sucks because we don't celebrate it until New Years, because there's no need to make two celebrations. And I only get presents on Christmas. Birthday rant, lol.

Because I"m in Canada, and my B-Day is in January...any winter month. It's because of this I've never been able to have a "fun" party, like go-karting or anything. I'd really like to go biking on my birthday, but I know it'll never happen.

If you had it around cristmas it would either be terrible or great because

 

A. You either get way less presents or twice as many

 

B. it's so close to the end of the year all your firends are a year older than you. Or you can just become firends with lots of other people a year younger than you and be the eldest

I can't quite say when the worst is... October 31st maybe? One of my irl friends always has to choose whether to celeberate his birthday or halloween on that day, I kinda feel bad for him.

 

I don't see why everyone's saying December though... My birthday is December 18th and I'm totally happy with that XD
