Whoops, didn't even see the post you two had going around the 11'th. O.o Real sorry about that.

If you want a target that's the sort you'd have to deal with with some degree of effort, I could do that, and have it include some initiate cat-napping. I do have a character I have eluded to vaguely before that I could use that would not be as simple as a little snap of the claw to defeat. I'd just have to push the start of her story along myself, and that shouldn't be much of an issue.

As for my dragon description, I base some of what I say about lava towards basic elemental strategy, and in regards to Spike, he is really more of a Fire Dragon variant if anything, which would make him initially more resistant to fire regardless of where he grew up. Just look at his magical flame, as an example of his likely affinity. And the belly of a dragon is in many stories their weak point, as the scales tend to be less hard. Figured it made them softer and squisher.

Also one question regarding Nada, it is Serenade that came in right? I just want to make sure since she was controlled by moonlit last time.

Ya know what you're right about the fact Sapphire was inside the Element of Deceit. The reason for this element being in play is it's illusions and such, But the element Shadow Streak has to be a different one entirely since there can't be two of one element.  That scene of Opal stealing it in my first post also has to be different if we can't use that element too, it has to be a different one entirely.

I can't think of what other element would work other than the Element of Deceit basically, The renaming to Element of Lies is just me thinking it sounds cool however. I don't really like retconning but if I could make it something confusing within the story itself that has to be a mystery to be solved could also be fun, But for now, Warlock's blurry senses and Astral mistaking the element for another can be explained I'm sure.

This will mean I may postpone replying until us two can figure out a feasible explanation in the story.

I don't take over another person's OC, but since @Moonlit have vanished without a trace, and have not been on for nearly two months, I figured I'd have her come back, so that nada had someone to talk to that, y'know, actually talked. I considered pushing time forth further and have Berry there, but she is currently in something that I don't know what the repercussions of will be. Until I do, I have to be a little patient, so... Ziggy's back.

Deceit could just be another name for Betrayal. Stabbing someone in the back sounds like a deceitful act to me at least, and it could fit better in with the story between Emerald and Sapphire. Betrayal broke them apart, rather than Lies, which makes more sense as they've been pretty honest to one another so far about thinks. Not too hard to make that fit I'd say, and it's not like we had Betrayal in play anyway up until now, far as I know.

As for the rename... Well, Emerald wouldn't like using something called Betrayal, as it sounds like she's the one who were wrong back when they fought, and she still thinks that Emerald did more of that than her. So going by another name, which were perhaps not the most commonly used, but still were a fitting moniker, would certainly be something she'd be partial towards doing.

can you remind me at what point did Ziggy and Nada meet (if they did?) I have trouble remembering names of character from earlier from the rp and thus don't really remember who she was

Doc *Ziggy* Zinger.

Far as I can recall, she knows of Nada too, since this over-sized zebra/pegasus hybrid takes residence along with Serenade, and are the *owner* of Fah'lina. The mimic that Agni hates. She went with Serenade on a trip to see the siren's family, which left the house for Nada to hide in for a while, but again, Moonlit is gone, so I'm bringing her back and just hiding it behind Serenade needing some family time on her own for a bit.

She's a doctor, about a head taller than most ponies, and wears frames without glasses in them. She's also a die heart hugger, and contains enough joy to overfeed a medium-sized Changeling colony. A bit too far maybe, but still, just putting these things here as a reminder, in case.

Then again... Been looking through pages now, and I can't find anything about them meeting up until now. I think I mixed her and Berry together in my head, so this is gonna be a... Peculiar situation that Nada's gonna be faced with. Whoopsie.

Now that you mentioned about her, I do remember the name, but yes, I don't think Nada and she have actually met before, so until there's picture of her in the house somewhere, Nada has never even seen her, so she will have a small heart attack from the new visitor

Just in case my previous playing or other mentions didn't make it clear (I don't remember what I have said and what not) Cerberus as character is similar to your Widdershins, the biggest differences being that he's a cat pony and that he isn't aware of his relationship to me (the narrator), and thus just sees everything being oddly convenient.

The reason I'm saying this is to inform that similar things to the start of my latest response may appear in the future too, but it won't be as frequent as it is for Widdershins.

 I did intend for Monolith to help the constable colt. Draw that line that the tired policeman would want terse, direct to the point answers and Mono can be the most honest and descriptive. I want more focus put on him, if but temporary, to show the part that he's only intimidating because he's fully unaware of how to be anything but blunt. A sort of Maud personality. It's kind of why I designed him to have lucked into the beauty end of the side effects of taking a ponyform. I wanted to try pulling him off in a social situation because he's the sort to not see why you'd talk to him outside of direct question-answer.

 But I don't know How to integrate him further.

Issue with Monolith, is that I really have no idea what to do with him. The way he speaks makes him hard to comprehend for most of my chars, his lack of personality makes them unwilling to mingle, and whilst Scarcity might attempt to poke him some and see what were what, that is really all I can think of here.

Hmm...

Okay, two options then. Either she will talk with him, or I will have her direct some of the ponies there to perhaps go and find the last brother (can't remember his name anymore) and he can take off with Alonsus. Perhaps the overabundance of personality will be a good contrast to Monolith's lack thereof?

That, or the fillies shows up, and they can pester him. Thoughts?

So, uh, @Blitz Boom? I have an RP question!

 I get alot of that "Blank doesn't really understand what [my character] is going on about, so they continue on with what they were doing" bit. Like, I know my characters prattle on a fair bit, but I feel I kinda have to. There's that touch of madness in an eccentric character that you know I like, so I have to put out a lot of what I think gets across that personality I'm trying to portray. Not to mention that happens when its my characters thing that they have issues coping with their own viewpoints; they spend alot of time listening more to themselves than others and that's certainly what i'm playing up in in the Cephalli family. (I forget, I don't think I've had them actually say out loud what their "Last Name" is?)

 So, I know I might give out too much, and wind up giving others nothing understandable enough to respond to, but... in short...

Is it just me or am I getting ignored?

I don't usually see you get ignored really. I setup things, and in the case of where the others are now, Shortstack for example have gotten a lot of attention that he haven't responded to yet. As have the... Leadery type of them (can't remember his name). Sunny is outside and last mentioned, were being handled by her own, and both the ones you still have in town are getting far from ignored. In fact, they're currently being directly addressed, and have been throughout their travel around the place. Why, one even had to explain why a certain question were inappropriate towards him, after having mushrooms eaten from his wings. A certain someone who were dealing with fillies, whom doesn't exactly get the whole way he acts and speaks due to their age. And yet there is now an adult present who might get it. Convenient, yes?

Personally, I sometimes have to ignore certain things for the sake of the flow, or in the case of Monolith, because I really have no idea what to respond to one with, whom stands around and doesn't do much else than speak once in a while, yet others lumbers around like a statue. I don't really get a personality to bounce off from there, like I have with the others. Though as mentioned previously, I have set up some scenarios where he can begin to interact, and we can see if something comes forth. I still need your input on that however, as I can't force it through.

Could you provide some sort of example where you think you're being ignored? Because currently, the only one that's happening to in some fashion are Monolith, and that's partially because the way he's been portrayed before you mentioned it here in the OOC (and with his behavior so far in the RP itself) it seemed like you very distinctively wanted him to be in the background, whilst pushing forth others, such as Shortstack, who seems like he needs to have some attention, to avoid him blowing up and kicking someone.

Hard.

And for the record, him and the... Leadery lad are still getting addressed, but when Sekel came in with some input, I had to respond to that, and that included both sisters. It is but a minor detour, to fill in space between your posts.

I'm having Shortstack back off for now, now that he's had his explosive debut covered. Have him potentially bounce off of Chop as a stern sort who wouldn't accept much sass. Because that's primarily what i'm doing here, is exploring personality by having numerous characters all respond simultaneously. Like Sunny is in the room right now positioned far enough back where she can likely hear SS, but not Blither as well.

 It's like what happened with Cerberus. I pepper out half a dozen minutia that could be something the opposite side can comment on... but its not really pertinent to the situation so it can't be addressed. Slimpsy is aware that fillies likely don't have as much risk assesment as he's trying to get across, but he's going to anyway as he is a Death-focused stallion, to a comedic degree.

 Does "give who i'm rping with something to do" take a backseat to "this is what my character would do?"

If you want Chop to really get into Shortstack's grill at some point, have the later of 'em go after Stare somehow, even if only verbally. Chop will not take that idly.  Beyond that, he is indeed rather no nonsense. Former military man who's running his life on some pretty strict guidelines in the last few years, to keep himself off the bottle. Makes for a somewhat no nonsense, gruff pony in my mind at least, depending on who he's around. His friends and loved ones, he can open up to a bit more. Random strangers causing a ruckus? Not so much.

As for Slipmsy, he now have an adult that can understand him, who also have an extra layer of uncertainty here about a crazed individual hanging around his only daughter. He's gonna react on these sort of outbursts, tired to the bone or not.

I really should let him get some sleep one of these days. xD
