Shrine Maidens are what Last Stand, and Hawk Eye, were before returning to society. Fighters at a shrine, they had protected for a millennia, over generations. Their main enemies, being the manetids. Essentially a head and a half taller than ponies, and reminiscent of large preying mantises, but more robust, and with both a pair of bladed arms, and one pair of regular arms. The reason Drone starts all talks with some variation of "Kffrthtr", is that she needs to ease up her vocal cords, before she can speak ponish.

Hawk Eye does not know, that Drone is - via circumstances - more of an ambassador, than an enemy, so her first instinct were to do what they always did, to one another: Kill or be killed.

Also, from your post, it seems you are envisioning a forest setting. If it is the Everfree Forest, there's a few out there.

Delilah Dusk is the wife of Caerulean Deep. She has a charcoal grey coat and half pearl lusta mane with eyes the color of crimson glory. Her life has been rather difficult, but with plenty of upswings, and she's grown stronger from all of it. Currently, her wings do not work and she can only tenuously feel the embrace of weather magic. She is able to walk, the result of the surgery that fixed her hind legs and some of her spine after the very difficult foaling of Sal. She couldn't handle the foaling of triplets, so her other two, Dusk and Cloudy, were had via surrogacy through two other mares who are actually her herd mates, Clouded Setting and Maree. Her own biological sister is part of her herd, who has two fillies, the older of which is Aura, and the younger is Terra. The thing about Caerulean Deep is that he is not an Equestrian pony, but a Mythralian pony. So he stands taller than Equestrians stallions do, as do Clouded Setting and Maree.

Anyway, so Delilah has built a rather good life for herself. Actually, I am envisioning a generic outdoor setting that can be anything it needs to be for another character to find her.

So, the situation now is this... She's not in Kansas anymore. Her life, her everything, exists in another timeline altogether that she has been unceremoniously separated from. She doesn't know this yet, of course, because she's still very much from Equestria. Although her hometown is actually Tall Tale, she moved around a bit as a weather manager. It was her specialty and her passion, so she understands weather magic better than most other things she understands. She's mortal, though, and mostly out of touch with her personal magic. She was waiting on a surgery to fix her wings, after which she could begin working on getting them back to strength. So, her limitations are pretty severe... Since she's basically been reduced to a winged earth pony. Well, she did grow up the daughter of a farmer and a canterlot noble who threw away that life to run off to Tall Tale.

She's also one of six foals born to Twinkle Jewel and Maverick. She is the third, the oldest is her sister Ruby Lilly, then next is her older brother Swift Sprint, then we have her oldest little sister Ivory Moon, and her baby sister Thalia, and finally her baby brother, Brisk Tail. They have the family name of Aura.

So your char is out of their own timeline, unable to use her wings, and unsure where she is, but it involves grass? Alright, we can work with this.

Few options that comes to mind...

Well, first off, the groups in forested, or plains areas right now. Which primarily would be the current area of the Everfree Forest outskirts, with my characters, Honey Dew (earth pony honey maker and flower vendor) and Nerzhei (Dragon scholar, and geomancer), along with @AuroraGlimmer's character, Skittles (Unicorn, I think. I forgot. Woops. She can speak with animals). They're in the forest, having a chat. They could well stumble upon her, and help her to town, then see later where things would lead them. Aurora would have to agree with this too though, so we'll have to wait and see what they say.

Other options... Well, one is still in the everfree forest. Okay, three are. There's a little pixie-like creature, called Rose, that are taking chances to stray around, and watch things in the forest. And there's Briar and Brittle. An oddity, with his nervous changeling sidekick. They live in the forest, and Briar have rather good ears, so he could well hear her. They both like to help, so they'd lead her to someplace that could help.

Then there are the forest near Deltrot. I have a draconequus there, named Fright. She's a bit of a spooky look, but she radiates calm, and runs a temple in a pocket dimensions, that have some entry ways in that forest. Her, or one of her disciples, could well run across her too, and take her back to the temple to rest for a little. Nothing to worry about though. Fright isn't like Discord. Her temple, is for meditation. She have long since moved past her want for random acts of madness, and use her gifts more constructively these days. A good place if you think Delilah have some sort of fear issues.

In towns, that could go into forests, or parks... I have a doctor too, in Ponyville. A hyper-energetic zegasus, that would do what she could as a medical Professional, for Delilah. She's not a surgeon though.

I don't have any surgeon OC's really. Though if mechanical enhancements would be more the thing, I have a tinkerer. Molotov Boom. If he can make wings from scratch, he can work his mojo in other ways too, I figure. Though he's a bit of a dunce sometimes.

This is what I have for now at least. I can elaborate, if you want details on anyone in particular, and we can take it from there.

To clarify, yes, she is unsure of where she is. She is, however, confident that she is in Equestria, and does not know or realize that she is in a different Equestria... although the variety of characters that will be alien to her will make that easier.

Now, I like either the first or the last option the most. First is mot appealing though.

As for fear, Delilah doesn't really struggle with that so much as she struggles with trauma. But she has met, in her own timeline, Discord, Celestia, Luna, Twilight Sparkle and her friends, Starlight Glimmer (who, in her timeline, has evolved into an Alicorn), Cadance, Shining Armor, as well as several gods from another pantheon entirely. Deities don't intimidate her anymore, and she tends to have much more reverence and respect for Luna than for Celestia. There's history there, even personal between her and Celestia, to be sure, and Celestia has more than marred her own name in that timeline.

Her trauma is from two things, one being infected at one point with the same corrupting darkness that once took Luna into her darkest urges and saw her attempt to fulfill them, this left her temporarily feral yet conscious of her actions without being able to properly control her rage or animalistic compulsions; and another from being abducted by a group of hatemongering racists called Ponda Mythrali that, it turns out, her grandparents were members of. Said group, after abducting her, tortured her, sawed off her wings, force-fed her meat and branded her cutie marks with foreign script that reads "Race Traitor" whose scars are faintly visible beneath her cutie marks.

The fear comment is mostly since Fright's temple, is mostly for those who have a lot of it, and need to work through that, or some other traumas, that requires them to be in a soothing, calm environment. She doesn't intend to scare others. She helps others work through their fears, and her calming presence, have a lot to do with her simply taking the fear away, and feasting upon it, though it isn't possible to see. Like I said, she's found a more constructive use of her powers, when it comes to fear, that does not make her a hunted down pariah. I like turning a twist on my characters. Gives a bit of spice.

To go on to your last paragraph... Bloody hay, that's rough. O.o I think she'd find more of a kindred soul in Briar then if it were. In his society, being born with his abnormally, means he got disowned by his parents, tossed in a ditch, and raised up to be a slave. And Brittle were kept in a cage at a freak show circus, and brought out to be tormented for others entertainment. So there's them if you want some degree of understanding, and Fright if we're talking more eventual assistance facing those things. Might be something for more down the line. Will have to see how things goes.

Anyway, as for the ones in the forest... Will still need @AuroraGlimmer's approval, for mixing things up (I try to accommodate, and nourish the stories folks want to tell, rather than force them to mingle, if they prefer not to at first), but there'd be some manner of understanding there too. Nerzhei's not one that is seen upon, with favored eyes back at the Dragon Isle's, due to what her main study is. Fair few comments of treason sent her way there too.

Maybe I can provide some description of folks too actually. Most I have pictures off. Nerzhei and Fright I do not. I'll cover Fright later, but Nerzhei is a human-sized dragon, wearing an adventurer's robe, a shoulderbag for books, and knows earth magic. She's parch-ment yellow, with purple spots, and she have a companion. A pink bunny called Lotus. Lotus likes to beat up creatures. Being raised around dragons, have given her some bad habits.

when the large form of Fright would wander out from the darkened trees, walking on lily pads, floating calmly in the air in front of her.

Eight spindly, long legs would gently wander on them, and as she stepped off one, it would suddenly appear in front of her, to step on that next, rather than hit the ground. Each of the legs were a different color, and leading into a dark-multicolored torso. Behind it, an abdomen dangled, following the same pattern of darker rainbow colors that the torso did, with a marking on top. One that looked like a cackling, malnourished equine face, which if you looked on it, would move to look at you with its empty eyes. Sockets carrying a sense of malice, yet there were a circle of mint-green clouds dancing around and through it, which radiated a sense of calm. It would mean that the more you looked, the more there would be both a duality of fear and peace that would go through you, though which one were noticed the most, would wary by how the viewer felt. If they were balanced, it would be neutrality, and the face would be smiling in their eyes.

As for the rest of the being, the torso would change from the thin, almost bone-like spider beneath, to a risen body of a mare, belly upwards. She'd be thin and much like the face, seeming malnourished, with visible ribs showing. Instead of front legs, she would have no arms or legs, but just free floating dark hands, with clawed, elongated fingers, which were currently gathered together, palm to palm.

Further up the dark-grey equine body, you'd find it ending in an equine head. Malnourished as the one on the back, with the skin seemingly just covering the skull. From her head sprang minty-green, long hair, which despite being clearly rather thin, still somehow managed to spring lusciously and long, and gathering in three formations to the back, and sides of her head. The formations being simple circles, looping perfectly. And within each of those circles, were a small, golden figure. One looking like an open maw, within a maw. Another like the head pictured on her abdomen. And the third of a hand, clutching a coin.

Her teeth were looking like they had been cleaned in mossy water, and as she opened her eyes, you'd find that there were little more than pure darkness, with a small, flickering yellow light deep within each of them.

The whole look of the essentially malnourished, gangly drov-like creature, should be inducing fear to those around her, and yet she radiated only peace and calm. Even in her eyes, one would find only kindness and warmth, though it didn't seem fitting of the creature, which had the height of an alicorn, and floated on the lily pads, a quarter meter above ground

Some other things seemed to be worn by her. Each leg had a golden ring near the *knee*, with three of them inscribed with a name each. *Avarice* *Consumption* and *Fright*. The rest seemed blank for now.

She also had small bowls floating near her, each filled with seeds, or water, whereupon birds would randomly land upon, to take joy in either.

There were also floating a somewhat large assortment of ornaments around her body, in varied patterns. They were all no bigger than half a bottlecap, yet several of them seemed to be too complex to have always been said size, and there were seemingly hundreds of them too.

You don't seem to have misunderstood who I was referring to, actually. All seem like good options, but I'll still opt for the one featuring @AuroraGlimmer, at least to start. They all sound like cool characters to meet though, so I'm looking forward to that as well. But as for more specific: Skittles and Honey Dew to start with, is my preference but I'm not so married to it that I can't try other things instead. I'm liking the idea of Fright a lot, and also of Molotov Boom. Briar, too, looks interesting. Delilah's husband and two of her wives are Omnivores, while two of her foals are also omnivores and one of them is strictly a carnivore. It's taken her some time to get used to having meat anywhere near her at meal times, and recently she worked at preparing fish for her son, Sal, in an attempt to get closer to him. So, she's working out some of her issues with meat-eating, though she can't (and won't) eat meat herself without vomiting all of it and much of whatever she ate earlier in the day.

The politics of her timeline are simple, her husband is a Mythralian Pegasus who travelled to Equestria in order to ask Equestria's gods (Celestia, Luna, Twilight, Cadance, Discord) for help in dealing with a tyrant god who was actively working to destroy his homeland and force his people to worship them instead. Upon arriving in Equestria, he and Delilah crashed in mid-air and he corrected himself in time to save her from falling to either her death or severe injury. Anyway, so with his people... The pegasi of Mythralis are omnivores, the Terrans (earth ponies) are herbivores, and the unicorns are carnivores... Now they all live with each other peacefully in Mythralis, but much of his exposure to Equestria was in Canterlot among elitist unicorn snobs who learned that he ate meat and immediately held it and his other differences against him, so he began getting quite a lot of flack right away for that, and then Delilah made it known that she was in love with him and they even got the piercings to show it, and this made her a target when Ponda Mythrali formed and started to harass what, by this time, was her, he, and the family they have made together.

She, being married to him and thought to be his one true weakness, was abducted in order to hurt him. Her wings are mounted on Castle Canterlot while she was checked in to a hospital in Manehattan thinking that her wings would never arrive so far in enough time to be successfully reattached. Fortunately, for her, it was done in enough time but she was in terrible condition as they had been truly vile to her while they had her. All of his was to prevent her taking on the role of Director of the Interior within the Canterlot government where Celestia intended to place her, and working to enact policy that would protect anyone from discrimination and clean up a fairly corrupt system. It was a mix of a message to her and to him, but she's left more determined than ever to get into office and start making important changes.

Hmm... Well, a few have come to town, but for instance, I don't think that @Catpone Cerberus's dragons would like Light, nor Shark all that much. We do have @AuroraGlimmer and @flutterJackdash's group, that are getting into town though. Might be some overlap there, if Shark and Light, goes to the next day.
