I feel there should be multiple contests each having a winner and then have the finalists go against each other if we were going to do that.

My suggestion is that we should have had a vote on what KIND of banner that people want to see, like theme or character, so then the playing field would have been more even from the start. Here, it felt like the banner had to be for a specific character or something. I am not saying anything bad about any entries here, but I seeing the 10th entry get 11 votes almost as soon as this began and now with its lead, the fun has dropped almost entirely for me.

 

This is all my opinion though. I do not mean anything harsh to any of the entries of course, this is just a suggestion that I think would really help.

'No offense'? You just told 4/5 of these people that their banner was crap.

 

That's really nice to say to all of these people. Including me. Thanks for the insult. Do you mind telling me what was exactly wrong with the so-called terrible banners in a way that isn't personal preference and is actual criticism?

In my opinion, 9, 10, 8, 5 and 6 look the best out of all of them. Good job and good luck to all banner-makers!

Saying the other banners are terrible is very rude. The people who worked on them worked really hard and they put a lot of effort into them. Everyone has different tastes but saying something is terrible especially to someone's work is not right. Edited September 22, 2014 by FadedSkies

Hard to decide between 2, 4, and 6. 6 is awesome because it represents the gamers around here, 4 is awesome too because it includes Rainbow Dash and Derpy (2 favorite characters [Derpy is finally official]) it also incudes the rest of the main characters but who cares about them, 2 is cool because of the same reasons for #4 but doessnt include the other main characters (except for Pinky Pie and Rarity).

Entry 4 is simply gorgeous! I love the colors, and the expressions of the characters are hilarious. It is well-designed, and the whole thing just makes me happy! It evokes all the positive traits of MLP forums: fun, silliness, friendship, and pure glee. I really hope it wins!

I wouldn't count on it sadly. I am still getting a 'no contest' vibe from this..Which really sucks for the rest of the entries. I have an entry in there and...well, it feels like mine stood no chance no matter what. Gives me kind of a 'meh' feeling about the whole thing. It makes it harder to actually enjoy.

I have noticed a lot of people voting for #10 for unexplained 'reasons'...

 

For some reason, that bothers me, not sure why...Nothing against that entry of course but...I don't know...Seems like a free pass to me but that's just my thinking of it. I mean, I could be overthinking but to vote for one of the two that he mentioned and not even give a reason at all for it kinda supports his point. Again, this is just an observation from me. I don't mean any harshness with it.
