Would you care if the rest of the Mane 6 moved in with Twilight?

As unlikely as it is, the thought of the rest of the mane 6 moving into the castle is still a possibility. would you care if they did?

Idk if it would really affect me that much honestly, I mean they usually end up meeting up with each other most of the time anyways. 

 

The thing is, if they moved out, Rarity would still have to go to her place to work, Pinkie would still have to go to Sugarcube corner to work there, Fluttershy would still have to go to her cottage to feed and care for her animals, Rainbow I guess wouldn't really have to go to her house necessarily. And Applejack has to work on Sweet Apple Acres, so honestly them moving in with Twilight might be kinda impractical for them anyways.

 

But if it does happen I wouldn't necessarily be opposed.

I personally would not be against this idea (I don't really care, to be honest). But, it would be impractical as someone said earlier and so it is indeed unlikely to happen.

Although, I have to say that there are six "thrones", so they would still do a lot of things in the castle (at least have their meetings there).

It's both really probable and improbable. It looks more like Twilight's home will now be used as some sort of "team meetup base cave-thingy" rather than a new house for the whole mane 6 now that it's a big crystal castle that literally popped out of the ground.

 Having Discord to live there sounds like a pretty cool idea, though.

I wouldn't really care, myself. Most of the episodes involve them all meeting at one place anyway, so it wouldn't change too much. Also, Zygen brings up a good point, about how they'd all still have to leave for work anyway.

They practically live together anyway, and most major plot moving and adventure episodes involve hem meeting up. They'd still leave to do their various activities, but really as they are a unit it wouldn't effect anything.

It would be interesting to see how they would act. Being around friends too often can sometimes be a bad thing, possibly leading to some sort of conflict between them?

It wouldn't really affect me that much. The castle does seem big enough to fit all of them in. My only concearn is how much the other minor characters would be shown.

But Applejack's family needs her on the farm. If they had separate rooms set up with things they do for a living, they could, but Applejack would have a hard time with the farm work if she has to haul herself there and back.

Applejack moving away from Sweet Apple Acres ... that might be the hardest pill to swallow unless they actually address it as a character moment in the show. In fact I think only Rainbow Dashes house in the clouds in the only home we haven't seen some aspect of emotional connection with, so there is an opportunity for the others to share some poignant 'moving out' moment. Done that way ... I could buy it.

 

But if not ... if BAM they live there with no emotional moment for AJ, Pinkie, Flutters, and even Rarity ... I would be lamenting a missed opportunity.

They could be in Twilight's Castle for occasions but I don't think they would move. Twilight's friends still have jobs where they live. For example Applejack and Rarity would still have to work at their places.

Perhaps they can stay there for extended periods due to friendship things, instead of just living there, unless they address AJ & Sweet Apple Acres, possibly Rarity & her boutique, Pinkie & her bakery, Fluttershy & her animals and perhaps Rainbow Dash & her place of residence we don't really know to much about other than it looks nice inside.

 

Extended sleepover at Twilight's massive and somewhat out of place Crystal Castle...Tree..thing..

I wouldn't mind it. But it wouldn't be practical.

 

Besides, I don't think Fluttershy would be all that willing to move out of her quaint little cottage on the edge of the forest. She'd be rather reluctant. She's got to much emotional attachment to her cottage. Not to mention how much the animals depend on her, to be at the cottage. It'd be quite the scene to see a bunch of wild animals romp through town, in a herd, to the castle, only to see Fluttershy. She wouldn't be able to properly care for the animals, since everything she needs is at her cottage.

 

Same dealio with AJ and her farm, it'd be highly impractical for her to travel between the castle and Sweet Apple Acres to do her chores.

One line from the animatic might make the others moving in a bit more likely. "Why would the tree of harmony want us to stay in a castle in Ponyville?" notice twilight says us

I wouldn't be mad, but it wouldn't make sense.  They have their own houses and businesses to run, I doubt they'd give that up to share a residence.  The castle is probably just a place to meet up in and discuss royal duties.
