Anyone ready for a big dose of the 90?

How about a bonus round ya'll?

Feeling lucky, let's go all or nothing!

YES! This exactly! I memorized these songs word for word. They helped me get through Middle School, they helped me get through High School, and they'll help me again here. Especially the Wacko one about the States & Capitals.

Everybody, sing along! Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Indianapolis, Indiana. And Columbus is the capital of Ohio~! :D

Like 20-30.

I used to know all of them back in elementary but that was so long ago. I'm a senior in high school now as opposed to being in 5th grade so...

Yeah, some of those names slip my mind.

I know all the states, their capitals, and even basics about them in regards to what they are known for producing, their main type of industry, and basic geological makeup and climate....

Of course, I am a history buff too, so I know a bit about each states' history and their role within the overall United States History....

I remember having to learn a song about the states in elementary school...in ALPHABETICAL order too...still remember and sometimes really randomly sing it.

I can name all 50 states. I used to be sharp on my electoral votes, too, back when I regularly followed the national political cycle.

I remember in 5th grade when they made us for a month learn all the state capitals and stuff. I still remember the states but each capital would be super tough

Is california a state? (Facehoof) forgive my ignorance guys. ^_^

Yes.  California is a state.  It is #1 in population and #3 in land area.

I know Washington, Texas and California.

That's about it.

As an aussie, I'm glad there's only a couple of states/Territories to learn over here!

That's true.  ...and as a Washingtonian, I'm glad that my state is one of the few that you can recall.

I'm English, let's give this a try!

California, Florida, Nevada, Arizona, Mississippi, Hawaii, Ohio, Iowa, New York, Washington, Michigan, Maine, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Texas, New Mexico, North Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Alaska, Arizona, Louisiana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wyoming, Arkansas = 30

Argh... That was harder than I thought, and I love maps... There should now be a thread on how many English counties can you name

Well, not too many for me (but isn't there almost 100 of them?), but I can name almost all of the Scottish counties.  The English ones that I can recall now are: Blackpool, York, Portsmouth, Bristol, Cornwall, Essex, Kent, and Greater London.  Oh, and I know that quite a number of them begin with cardinal directions.

What state do you live in? I know I missed Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Maine, and Arkansas, but I can't think of what else I missed at the top of my head. Anything else?
