I always liked Spike best (and it doesn't hurt that it shares its name with a certain dragon we all know). I haven’t had it in a while and I don’t know if they even make it anymore. It was very strong and like many energy drinks it gave me an upset tummer. I gave up on energy drinks though, and can’t even handle coffee anymore. So sad.

I've just about had Red Bull a couple of times years back, of course, I feel like if I tried to drink any energy drink right now it would be an automatic weight gain, so I usually stay away from them.

Mountain Dew gaming fuel cause I don't think I've had any other lol. I don't drink energy drinks cause if I do then my body will rely on caffeine for energy if done in excess.

Coffee, if that counts. Most energy drinks are disgustingly sweet and I can't enjoy them.

The last time I had one was when I had to wake up at 5am to drive across the country to be at a work conference for 9am (I work locally, this conference just happened to be in an incredibly far-away location for some reason), and I took an energy drink in the car with me. It was absolutely vile, but I can't deny that it did the job of giving me some early energy.

My favorite energy drink is Bang because of the high caffeine content (300 mg) while having 0 calories and no sugar.

That being said, I appreciate Shiny's sentiment above and I regret forming the habit of relying on these to maintain peak alertness throughout my day. I also drink black coffee on the regular on top of this so I consume way too much caffeine, and I doubt consuming all the artificial sugars and such from Bang is healthy, particularly over the long-term.

I've also started having severe canker sores inside my mouth for the first time in my life over the past month, which has resulted in some of the worst pain I've ever experienced. It's truly a transcendental level of agony. I have no idea if my energy drink habit is connected, but it's one of my only distinctly new and consistent dietary habits I developed over the past year so it's possible.
