What should every pony taste like?

Monsters from the Everfree Forest are multiplying and spreading all over Equestria. The princesses haven't figured out how or why it's happened, and they have yet to come up with a solution to get rid of them all.

BUT, Twilight has figured out a way to help the entire population survive until they do. A city was recently discovered underground that's large enough for everyone to take shelter. It has been abandoned by a pony civilization older than Celestia and Luna. All the princesses agree to relocate every pony there and set up a magical barrier that only they can pass through.

And in their stead, Twilight decides to use the mirror pool from Too Many Pinkie Pies to create clones of the population for the monsters to eat. It seems logical, because for all she knows, this outbreak could have been caused by some asshole wanting all ponies exterminated. But to keep the plan moral and just, Twilight uses some of her own magic on the pool so that all the pony clones that come out are nothing but empty shells. No one's going to mind sacrificing them if they're not alive to begin with and they can't feel any pain.

There's one problem though. In one experiment, it is observed by the Mane Six that the cloned meat has no flavor, and the monsters will just spit it out and keep ravaging the continent until they find the real ones.

Therefore, Twilight has to enhance her spell and assign a unique flavor to all the clones. And Pinkie's more than willing to help give her ideas. What are your suggestions?

Great premise.  You put a bit of thought into that!  That could be a two-part episode.  They should do that.  When you said underground city, I immediately thought Zion.

 

Anyway, nice try on the flavors, but you were both way off on Twi.

 

Twilight - cardboard.  Or oat bran.  In other words, cardboard.

 

Fluttershy - Starburst (the pink and yellow mixed together)

 

Pinkie - classic birthday cake

 

Rainbow - skittles

 

Rarity - Um...teriyaki and....uh....siracha.  Sure, why not.

Check the OP. They're clones from the mirror pool that unexpectedly came without any flavor.

 

That's the point. Twilight's trying to give them different tastes.
