In my opinion, I'd say No.

In the UK, we have a channel called 'Tiny Pop', and it airs there. Thing is, if it moves to Cartoon Network, it will be on a stupid o'clock in the morning. :P

But, Tiny Pop is available on Freeview (Which is a license-free for TV shows - I'm not sure if the US has it), but Cartoon Network isn't I don't think.  :(

I don't think Cartoon Network would want to accept a show like MLP especially with its current show quality. But either way even if they would NO! CN isn't the channel I used to be and I don't want to see MLP along with Uncle Grandpa and other weird shows ^_^

That depends on whenever or not DHX are willing to dumb down everything to stay on air on Cartoon Network, which I heavily doubt. MLP's quality is way out of their league, in a good way.

Here's the issue with Cartoon Network: They are a whole lot better at handling their original shows than their reboots.

Their original shows are treated fairly, don't get canceled to fast unless they suck, and tend to be mostly good.

The way they handle their reboots however is HORRIBLE!

Let's go down the list:

Made Teen Titans Go! a thing.

Unfairly canceled Young Justice and Green Lantern: TAS for TTG!

Made way too many spin offs of Ben 10 even when it was passed its prime.

Moved the Sonic Boom cartoon to a 5 am slot.

And is making a Powerpuff Girls reboot without the original voice actresses for the girls.

With all these in mind I can't even imagine what they would do with MLP.

Cartoon network had cool shows like teen titans and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. They have Steven Universe now. All great shows, mlp might do well on CN, but they would also need to stay on discovery. But this is all hypothetical, so :muffins:

Cartoon Network would cancel it because they're 100% for keeping boys and girls as separated as possible. Too many boys-- that is, male bronies-- liking a show targeted for 7 year old girls would definitely mess up their business practice. So no, even if it'd make it easier for me to catch new episodes, MLP on CN is the last thing I want.

If the typical Cartoon Network audience is equally or more receptive to colorful, friendship-exalting equines, yes.  And if Cartoon Network doesn't sentence the show to some ridiculous time slot.  And if Cartoon Network doesn't f*** with it otherwise.

It could also open a wider door to watchers and views and many fans might choose to watch it by more Legal means than

on the net.  Also marketing wise,  would hit more viewers given the wide age range CN tends to cater too! Means more

money on both ends!

With all these in mind I can't even imagine what they would do with MLP.

Now here's one thing. Not all of CN's new shows are bad. Adventure Time, for instance, is awesome. The Regular Show, well people have a mixed opinion on it but I actually like it. Specifically the bit where Muscle Man does jokes about his mom and holds a beer at a concert like you would in real life, it's Beavis and Butthead 2: Electric Boogaloo. And Steven Universe actually did Story Arcs better than MLP.

However, I hate Teen Titans Go! Because it is completely stupid. One episode had Robin get scolded by the entire team for screwing up in front of them, yet he's the leader. Then they go on a mission without him, Beast Boy however, comes in and says he has to be ''One with the Couch''.

Robin relaxes and eventually becomes ''One with the Couch''. But the others need him badly, but he doesn't go. Then there was another episode where Raven tricks the team into thinking the washing was haunted so she didn't have to do Laundry Night.

The Hypocrisy in the first episode is that, first of all, that's no way to treat your leader, you treat him like an underling, second of all, if Batman saw Robin being ''One with the Couch''. He'd probably slap him and say ''Robin, the Joker is out there murdering people and your just relaxing?'', and third, Where's all the fighting action? It focuses more on the average life of the characters back at base than fighting. Only thing I do like about it is Tara Strong voicing Raven.

Also, another reason why it sucks is for the same reason Spongebob sucks today. Every character has a flanderized personality and is a Jerk to one another.

The answer to your question is both yes and no. If MLP were to be on the CN, it would be easier for at least most people to watch it live so long as it was on a relatively good airing time.

However I do agree with C.B. that CN has issues dealing with shows that are not of there original creation. While they have done wonders with Steven Universe, Adventure Time, Gumball, the various superhero shows and what have you, they have had a history of not knowing what to do with original female oriented shows or shows that they won't be seeing the major payout for since one of the big reasons they cancelled young justices was because the show wasn't making them money on merch.

While MLP has no issue with the merch category, they are still a very female oriented show. While Steven Universe has amazingly strong female characters, the show is still centered around a little boy and because of this, I do believe the upper staff are more comfortable with allowing someone like Rebecca Sugar to pull what she does, simply because they can fall back on to the fact that SU doesn't feel "girly" where MLP does.

While for use, girly things aren't bad, there are sadly still many people who just feel like putting real money into things that are "girl" oriented is a waste. It follows the very old logic that boy watch things like cartoons and anime more and longer where girls barely watched or simply didn't. This is total bs, but they do have a small point, since for a very long time, girls were pushed away from their toys earlier then boys since they had to grow up faster in a lot of respects when it came to toy/cartoons specific areas. No one by the time they were 10, were playing with "dolls" when I was growing up. This line of thinking is VERY old fashion and doesn't come close to reflecting the current cartoons/anime/toy watching and playing that goes on with girls, but people are slow to change.

Even though I like Cartoon Network, I don't think it would treat MLP FIM very well.

Seeing how it would be an acquired show rather than a first party show, it would be given the Sonic Boom/Transformers Robots in Disguise treatment.

Where it would only be shown really early in the morning and not advertised very much if at all.

Cartoon Network has lame commercials.

I don't get Discovery Family.

As long as Cartoon Network has no control over what is in the shows, I would be fine with it. I just have to pause at the beginning of each episode, wait, then watch it and skip the commercials.

Since I don't think the ability to pause and fast forward or rewind when watching TV, I don't think it would be great for most people.

So keep it on Discovery Family. I will just watch it on YouTube as long as I get there before Hasbro does.
