Today I realized what a nice and lovely community I am a part of here.

My boyfriend is part of a different community based around a game and was just telling me about how everyone acts there. It sounded awful. Apparently everyone shouts at each other and are rude and mean.

I feel so lucky I have found such a nice group of people because if I joined something like that I have a feeling my experience of an online forum would be a very short one.

Seriously speaking though, I'm very happy to be a member of these forums. We have people here that are very similar to each other, but are also very different from each other, and that's what makes each and every one of them special. As a result, lots of bonds and friendships have been developed quite nicely~

 

Also, Feld0 is the greatest autocrat the world has ever graced.

I must agree with you debate buddy!!! this is actuall the only online forums ive ever been a part of and i love it!!!

i usually hate joining groups online of any kind...i even am hesitant of joining xbox live partys half the time because every one is obnoxious and is always yelling and arebt considerate.

 

but this place is amazing im glad to call everypony here my friend!!! im never leavin this place its like a second home to me :-D

Most communities I've been part of always has some people who just love to start a fight. Norwegian communities that I'm part of tend to behave better, but they also have a few immature people on board. MLPforums has definitely provided me the best community experience so far

Given that the communities I've come from have been pretty much tempered by hate and clique wars, this forum is a welcome change. Allows me to wind down like I've been meaning to for a good five years now, you know? It's ran well and - for the most part! - filled with great people.

Yea most other communities tend to have a lot of flame wars and other stuff that really gets on my nerves. That is something that is absent in this community for the better.

To be completely honest, I've never really enjoyed any type of forums or online social type things before.

This is actually the first time I've ever really stuck with a forum for more than a couple of weeks and I'm glad that I found a community so great and so friendly.

Finding nice people on the internet is like... Well, I dunno. Believe it or not, it just doesn't happen that often.
