Some Desert Storm stuff I got from a guy during my trip to New York. There was still sand and oil on the inside of the butt pack when I went to clean it.

Gonna have to get more ALICE stuff for the belt. It's in really great condition.

I got the M81 jacket from my uncle, who was in the Navy. I've had that for a while.

Ah, that makes sense. My father served in the US Navy at the same time and has the same jacket as well as the pants to go with them.

I wanted to recap on this picture and say a few things... MA Larson or his facial expression here seems to reflect how he felt during the few days at Bronycon, at least from the things I picked up from him. I remember when we talked with him for a brief time before his panel. I remember him looking towards the crowd of people saying "oh well there's going to be a lot of disappointed people out there" even during his panel it felt as he had no enthusiasm about being there in the first place at least what I sensed from him. I know he is a busy guy and all but his facial expression in this photo just reinstates what I just said about him. To put it bluntly... it would have been nice to see him simile or at least give a bit of enthusiasm in this photo. Most music artists I know always smile or shake hands with their fans and would not dare look like this in a picture. Let's just say I'm rather let down by this in a sense. No offense to MA Larson and I am sure he is a great guy it's just I wish I could have seen a little more joy from him because I certainly did not catch any of that while talking or seeing him.  

 

 

Look at Andrew WK this guy is like the nicest guy ever loves his fans and I got to see him live once at a concert. Truly a awesome person! You look at this picture and ask yourself who would you rather have a picture taken with? Sure maybe MA Larson wasn't having a great day but could a little enthusiasm or smile be too much to ask for one picture with fans?

 

We were all talking with him prior to that. He was smiling, drinking, signing things for people and seemed to be having an all-around good time at the bar. Mentioning the 2013 photo he took with our Poniverse group. (I mean the one he photobombed, which was one of his highlights of that con too I might add) Which led to this pic with him.

 

Immediately after that we all had a laugh and he went off to talk with some more peeps. Maybe it's just me but I know he didn't mean for it to be a negative thing.
