When do you cosplay?

I've never cosplayed but I've always wanted to. I imagine if I were to, I'd be at meet ups and conventions.

Cons, Halloween (if I can find a friend do go with, which hasn't happened in years), and that's mostly it. Sometimes I'll make a costume, take pictures in it, and relegate it to storage (my Rarity fursuit comes to mind). Usually that happens because I make a costume, and a month or so later after my skills have improved, I realize it isn't actually that good and I never wear it again, leaving it shamefully in my closet.

Cons (which I haven't been to in a long time) and Halloween. I believe I spent around 100 something bucks on last year's costume, maybe even more.

So yes, I take Halloween VERY seriously.

This is actually the most I have EVER spent on a costume. I was scowering the internet because I needed to make sure everything was perfect.

I only costume up on Halloweeen. I’ve only been to one convention and I was one of the few people who wasn’t in costume. I like to dress up, and a great costume can really transform a person inside and out, but I’m too lazy to do it for my leisure activities.

I have never had a reason to cosplay. I don't see the charm in it. It might change one day.

I do it for myself then again only cosplays I've had are crossplays yet I do plan on doing a sith cosplay. So like for myself and pretty much I would go to events. Reason why I did some crossplays is to sexually confuse guys at my school.

Not often, mostly because I don't have the budget for multiple costumes. I did cosplay as Jotaro from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure last year though.
