Who would make the better apple pie Applejack or Pinkie Pie

Pinkie Pie might be a great baker, but could she give Applejack a run for her money when it comes to apple related deserts? What do you think Applejack or Pinkie?

I would say Applejack. Not only would Apples be her specialty but also Pinkie did say that she was pretty much the best baker ever in Applebuck season, those are pretty good credentials.

Baking typically refers to things like cakes, even though pies are baking. Considering a good apple pie depends a lot on the apples, not the crust (but a good crust helps), then I would say Applejack. If Pinkie Pie had access to Applejacks apples, which she probably would, there would be a good pie competition (which I would be happy to judge).

I say AJ because if Pinkie made one it would be stock full of sugar and it wouldn't even taste like an apple. Also apples are the Apple Family specialty and they know how to handle apples

While Pinkie Pie could probably make a good apple pie Applejack has a bit of an unfair advantage with apples being her specialty and having access to generations of family recipes to draw from. What I often wonder is what if any differences are there between the pies Applejack makes and the ones Granny Smith makes? Oftentimes certain family recipes can get their own unique touch with different family members. Case in point is the marinara sauce recipe on my dads side of the family (immigrants from Italy), my grandmothers is much more tart and has somewhat of a spice to it while my aunts (dads older sister) is much sweeter.

Applejack is a specialist in apple products i.e. baked apple products, cider, while Pinkie specializes in all baked goods i.e. cakes, cupcakes.

I think AJ would make better apple pie but only because I think she has a more focused experience making apple goods if that makes any sense.
