ManaMinori 4,145 November 3, 2015 Share November 3, 2015 I don't , nor have I ever, to my recollection, slept with a pony (or dragon) plush, or turned to one, in times of comfort. But I have a Spike plush I decided to take off the display shelf, for cuddling, since I was feeling pretty lousy, having teeth ripped out my skull, today, accompanied by a lovely migraine once the numbing faded. I'm a few weeks away from turning half a century minus twenty and a year, so is it weird? Snake 516 November 3, 2015 Share November 3, 2015 I've always slept with stuffed animals, including my precious Twilight Sparkle! I'm a girl so i'm not sure if it's quite as strange than if it was a boy. I don't see anything wrong with it either way though! It's comforting!I do not think it's weird at all, they're very cute and make you feel good when you squeeze them in a warm embrace! <3 3 signature by; https://mlpforums.com/user/26424-minikirby123/art by; http://pucksterv.deviantart.com/ profile picture by; https://mlpforums.com/user/36534-prophet/

Queen Luna 22 November 3, 2015 Share November 3, 2015 (edited) I don't think so! I don't have any pony plushies but I sleep with one of my stuffed animals. The majority of people do it anyways, they just don't admit it Edited November 3, 2015 by Queen Luna

tKestrel 243 November 3, 2015 Share November 3, 2015 Honestly, it's not weird at all. I'm a guy, and 19 at that, and I have a fluttershy plushy that I've gotten rather fond of. I can't sleep without it within arms reach, and most mornings I wake up with it in my arms. It's very comforting and relaxing. I know some people may think it's unusual for someone my age and gender to have a yellow and pink pony plushie on my bed, but I pay them no mind since it's a way to help me sleep. And having insomnia, it really helps me ease my overly active brain when I'm trying to sleep lol
Eloquence 2,076 November 3, 2015 Share November 3, 2015 Well, it may be weird in the sense that not a lot of adults sleep with pony plushies, but just because something is weird doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it. I have a Fluttershy plushie that I bought to snuggle during my anxiety attacks, and I later picked up a Rarity plushie at a swap meet. They make me feel better when I'm sad, and if people want to make fun of me for it then all I can really do is wonder how sad their lives must be that they feel so threatened by someone their age having a pony plushie that they feel the need to lash out at them. 3 My Equestrian Empire Characters Fluttershy - Eloquence - Chamomile - Ginseng - Lovestruck Ask Me Questions! ShadOBabe 19,006 November 3, 2015 Share November 3, 2015 Not any weirder than any other kind of plush. And LOTS of people admit to sleeping with them. Tinkh_ 239 November 3, 2015 Share November 3, 2015 I sleep with my twilight and little derpy, but its widely known that I'm a big baby. Things that you love and that make you comfortable are always acceptable, especially when resting. I also sleep with a giant minecraft ghast, a dinosaur, elephant with a rattle, dragon pillow pet, baby ladybug pillow pet..
Celli 4,338 November 3, 2015 Share November 3, 2015 I don't see why it would, I slept with my 4de Twily plush before it got ruined. Still need the get the Twilicorn one, whenever that comes out.

El Duderino 879 November 3, 2015 Share November 3, 2015 I don't own any, let along sleep with them, but I know people who do. It's not that weird, or as uncommon as you think. I mean, I'm the biggest kidult ever, but just hving a plush on the couch (aka bed) with me seem strange... To me it doesn't matter if you're an 8 year old or an 80 year old, plushies were designed for kids, mlp was designed for kids as well....but that doesn't stop us from watching it, so why should we find it weird to cuddle with our plushies? Lord Bradley 1,319 November 3, 2015 Share November 3, 2015 It's not weird at all. Its kind of like going to sleep with a normal plushie but its just a pony. Anyway, i go to bed hugging Lulu and Twily every night. 1 Special thanks to @Proton for making the Signature!https://mlpforums.com/page/eqw-characters/_/approved/drakk-moonshine-r358I Am The One Who Hides Those Things You Never Find... Shawn Parks 1,798 November 3, 2015 Share November 3, 2015 I don't do that, either But body oils get on it, no doubt. I wouldn't want a dirty dragon. Makazi 317 November 3, 2015 Share November 3, 2015 (edited) I'm 24, and I've got a 30'' Cuddlekins lion plush as seen here: http://www.amazon.com/Wild-Republic-80625-Cuddlekins-Plush/dp/B000BIA8XK and sometimes I like to pretend I'm cuddling up with one of the show's many ponies. Unikitty 1,212 November 3, 2015 Share November 3, 2015 Nope. A comfort item is a comfort item. Like others said, it's no different to any other plush, or even just hugging a pillow.

Biggybrony 244 November 3, 2015 Share November 3, 2015 If you don't think it's weird to own one then it's not weird to sleep with it. It's what they're good for. It's no more weird than sleeping with a teddy bear or any other plush. I'm not a medical expert, psychologist, psychiatrist, teacher or love doctor. Take my words with a pinch of salt, yeah? I am an experienced cook, musician and care worker though, so that's something.
Zhortac 1,474 November 3, 2015 Share November 3, 2015 I sleep with my Trixie plushie...mostly because I miss cuddling lol Feel free to add me on steam if you want to play something. Also don't be afraid to message and talk to me. I've had bad luck when I start a conversation, so I more then likely won't start one.
