When will season 3 begin?

Season 1 began on October 10, 2010.

 

Season 2 began on September 17, 2011.

 

If this pattern continues, Season 3 will begin on August 25. Hopefully.

 

(More than likely, though, it'll start in September or October again.)

Actually, I want it to be later, like Winter maybe. I feel like the longer I am away from it, I'll apprieciate it that much more when it begins again. And then it may still be airing in the Summer :3

Although, it could be worse, you could live here in south africa where we are coming into winter now. The long, cold waterless winter (i'm not joking, there's no rain or even dew)

Most likely late fall or winter. Most TV shows like this are produced months prior to airing, or some like South Park and other digitally based shows are produced within a matter or mere days. given the animation, as an animator myself and soemone who has met and spoken with people who do it for hobby, and with some insight into how it works in "the industry" if they are saying S3 is currently in production, the first episode at the LATEST will be late fall this year unless they want to finish all of the episodes firts, which sound inefficient. They have at least two studios working on several episodes at once and so......

 

TL;DR: Late fall or winter.

There is only 13 episodes for season 3, I feel like we may be getting a summer season :3 Dear Celestia, please let there be a summer season! :D

 

About it being only 13 episodes, is that amount confirmed or can we hope for more?
