movies/tv Worst Movie You've Ever Watched?

I could feel Michael bay laughing his head off, counting money with a cigar hanging out of his mouth. Saying something like, "Man, these idiots will watch anything."

You're not far off actually.

Bay was asked in an interview/press conference something along the lines of 'Why do you make bad movies?', his response was basically 'Who cares, you'll still go watch it.'

Which is unfortunately true (and very offensive), since most of his movies are targeted at young males who don't know better and end up buying their franchise.

If I had to pick my worst movie of all time it would be  Steam boy. The story was good but the dialog and animations were just awful.

I'd say that the worst movie I've ever watched was Aladdin and the Prince of the Thieves. It is the third film in the franchise, but I haven't seen the second one. Apparently, it's even worse! You just can't beat the original movie... Anyway, Aladdin 3 had a mediocre plot line, which could have gone well with better writing and jokes. And there were just too many references to other movies thrown in there! But there are worse movies out there, obviously; I've just never seen them.

Did you watch the English dub? I saw it in Japanese with subtitles, and really enjoyed it.

Road Train (2010). I hated it, it was boring as hell.

There's a few movies I can cite here but there's only one that I visibly shudder at the mere mention of and that'd be Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead.

I like black comedy musicals, but this was just awful.

I strongly hated "The Day After Tomorrow" because I was force to see like 7 time for science class.

Blair Witch 2 Book of Shadows is absolutely abysmal and to me, is the worst sequel to anything in existence. A complete bastardization of the original movie, clearly just cashing in of its success.

And I am gonna go ahead and say, every movie directed or produced by Adam Sandler.

Hotel Transylvania was actually pretty good:

Edit: Oh. He didn't actually direct/produce it, he just acted in it LOL. I thought this was his one good movie but I was wrong.

Only one comes to mind:

The Dogfather. I'm being harsh here, it probably wasn't going to be that great anyway. But (and this was years ago) my mom rented it because it had a bulldog on the cover and we love bulldogs. But the movie was stupid. I love children's entertainment... Hardly watch anything else, in fact. But this movie was too childish for me. At one point the kids are fighting mafia men who have real guns (IIRC)... With nerf guns. And the kids won. Right. Totally believable.

Otherwise, all I can really think of are romantic comedies. I used to be fine with them, until I noticed they all had the same formula, and I grew bored (to put it in one way) with that formula. (Girl runs into/meets guy. Girl clearly hates guy. They fight, and then in the middle of the fight, the guy kisses the girl. They make love. They live happily ever after.)

Meet the Spartans. The humour is so stupid that the movie felt like one giant nuke of an insult to the audience's intelligence. It's not even stupid funny, it's just stupid. All I can say is I'm glad my friend rented it from blockbuster and not me, I would have demanded my money back.

I found meet the spartans quite funny. :(

Another one for me is Alice in Wonderland (Tim Burton's) it's just SO far away from the book. The entire point on Wonderland (oh, I'm sorry it's "Underland" now) is that it's chaotic and crazy. They have a war of all things in this movie :| There's a stupid prophesy thing going on too. Why is there structure in Wonderland? It really annoyed me.

I love Tim Burton and love Alice in Wonderland so this should have been perfect. It was just such a missed opportunity :/

I didn't really like his version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory either.

There ARE far worse films out there but this is the most disappointing movie for me.

For a while it was the extremely loose "adaptation" of Eragon where they changed almost all the major details of how he became a dragon rider etc etc. Ruined my favorite book series with a piece of crap movie. If you knew my best friend he could tell you how vehement I was when that "thing" came out in theaters.

However, The Last Airbender takes the #1 spot on my Worst Movies of All Time list.

When you have 20+ hours of subject material from the first season alone and you screw up the pronunciation of the main freaking protagonist's name in the first five minutes, that's unforgivable.

The bending choreography in the cartoon was fluid and you can see how their actions are correlating to the element being bent; but in the movie, they just do a whole lot of unrelated movements and it takes a squadron of earthbenders to move a tiny boulder...

Whole movie was a slap to the face.

Probably the movie that would have to take the cake is Joe Versus The Volcano.

I felt like it was really trying to be funny in a ridiculous type of way, but it just ended up being headache-inducing instead.

The worst movie I've watched so far is easily The Room. No contest. However, I laughed so hard during that movie and because of that, it was immensely enjoyable to sit though, so I don't count it.

My least favourite movie is probably The Cat in the Hat. I love Dr. Seuss, but that movie is a bastardisation of his work.
