A calm topic, nothing mindblowing  :o
But.... i have a burning question
Did you ever saw a movie that made you so interested in a certain domain or path  :sunbutt:  , and you took that path with great confidence ?
A path like a doctor , or a pilot or a cook, or a writer, or an journalist or anything that made you feel like ``this is me``. :adorkable:

I loved to watch Horror Movies as a Kid and Adult and those Movies inspired me to want to become a Movie Maker^^

Specially Horror Movies with Monsters in it were really cool.

I wanted to design Monsters and make Monsters fight each other sometimes. Like in a VS Movie.

But...it will never happen.

There wasn't really a movie that helped me decide what to do as a job or something. However i really got interested in media / graphic design by CSS fragmovies and edits. Since i watched them for the first time (back in 2009) i want to become a graphic designer. ^^

The movie "Hackers" from 1995 made me go "cool dogg, I wanna be a hacker and send Pac Man and the Cookie Monster into people's networks to munch their data"!

I mean, I don't do that nowadays even as a Security Analyst, but I still look forward to the day when I do.

Not a movie but I watched all of scrubs and wanted to be a doctor. then I noticed that you have to train alot and it's really hard work and the banter that happens in scrubs didn't happen in the real world.

Same here! Not any specific movie, but seeing the possibilities of what you can make. I guess it's the same with any kind of art, be it music film gaming or anything else, it's all about the passion and willingness to do it

But...it will never happen.

Don't doubt yourself! These things don't happen over-night, if you get a chance, grab it and follow your dreams. If you don't get a chance, go out there and make one for yourself, never think you can't achieve what you strive to do. If it's any consolation, I believe in you :)

I was in a school for media design and got so nervous every day, that i felt very sick, even so sick that i almost felt every day, like i had to trow up.

In the beginning it was very very hard.

And then my struggles continued and i failed the school.

So, my chance is already over. But thanks for believeing in me^^ But there is just no way, i can achieve the job Movie Maker.

Yes, I think Friday the 13th is what made me a serial killer.

I'm not a medical expert, psychologist, psychiatrist, teacher or love doctor. Take my words with a pinch of salt, yeah?

I am an experienced cook, musician and care worker though, so that's something.

I cannot think of a movie that has cemented anything like that for me, BUT, the movie Fight Club, that is a film that makes me reflect on life as a whole every time I watch it and it is kinda relieving to think about. Makes life feel less stressful. That film is an experience that no other film has given me.

Not a movie. But mostly a channel I used to watch ALL the darn time when I was a kid. And that was Animal Planet when they had a lot of animal cop shows and real wildlife stuff. It was then when I AT LEAST knew I wanted to be in the animal sciences field. It wasn't until later when I got older I wanted to be a Veterinarian. Given the many years it'll take to do that, I figured it was safe to start out with short term goals and work up to longer term goals IF I was still up to it. So it's why I am starting over in college to get into a 3yr program in which I can become a Veterinary Technician. And if I'm still able, maybe even study further.

Thanks childhood animal planet shows!!!

nope... GTA and Battlefield made me want to get a pilots licence.... FiM Fic gave me a desire to write... MLPF gave me a desire to draw... and my uncle inspired me to join law enforcement... a movie has never inspired me to do anything...

Samsaara, this documentary just blew my mind away, It was the first thing that got me into wanting to know about indian gods (such as Kali the goddess of war)

I really loved that movie because it actually is almost a compilation of things about the world, we see animal slaughter, prostitution culture in Thailand, poverty in different countries, and a lot of things that really made me think about the world in general

It's something I would recommend everyone to watch to be honest  :icwudt:

I still don't know what I'm even gonna do with myself. Movies have given me a lot of brain food, but never directly inspired me. I have employment history, so that's at least a bonus. Honestly, I'll probably end up as just another chump working a minimum wage job for the rest of my life. I know for sure I'm not going to college.

I guess the only movie that has ever come close to affecting my life is V For Vendetta. Aside from the fact that my Birthday is the 5th of November (fist pump), it has ironically made me consider joining law enforcement (probably not happening, though).

This show helped put me on the path to becoming a writer, which I previously had not even considered.

In terms of actual movies, it was more a re-introduction but Ip Man along with Man of Tai Chi, Ong Bak, and a certain other cartoon centered around martial arts philosophy that begins with the letters "a" and "v" that kind of reignited my passion for the martial arts in my own life and put me on the path to pursuing Kung Fu rather than my base style of Karate.
