web When Do You Dislike YouTube Videos?

I don't often dislike videos. I only really dislike them if the title is pure click bait or if it's racist/sexist/mean for whatever reason. I may dislike the odd song if it's really bad -cough- Kanye -cough-

I'm not a hugbox so I'll dislike anything that I don't like. Even if the content has effort put into it, I still don't always end up liking it.

I only dislike Videos, if there are just Troll Videos or very offensive Videos.

 

Normal Videos i dislike, dont get any rating because i dont like to dislike something.

Mostly I dislike videos if they have explicit lyrics or if they contain suggestive material (i.e. women in bikinis or similar style clothing) or contain hatred towards people who don't deserve hate. Even then, it's the people's actions that I dislike, not necessarily the people themselves.

i agree with the other opinions others have written. I absolutely find Youtube videos EXTREMELY unlikable whenever these so-called stars talk about something that offends me to the worst level

I rarely even use the like/dislike system. What I do, is watch them, read the comments if I have to, then I jump to the next one.

I only like a video if I find one that I want to share and genuinely makes me laugh.

I only have ever disliked a video once. Only once. When this guy made like what, 7 or 8 jokes about his ex-girlfriend in an informational video or something.

Some videos are based upon opinions. And people dislike them because the video doesn't go well with their opinion. So following your logic it should be taken down?

One more question, do you think it's okay to dislike a video of a bad vocal cover of someone who's not a singer?

I've run across a few of those. While I admire the bravery (or perhaps stupidity ) of the people who upload them, they sound awful. I avoid disliking those so I don't look like an ass.

Yes. Do avoid disliking things like that. Some people dislike covers because they don't like covers in general and that's just idiotic. It gives the person ill confidence for what they're doing, which is not alright.

No, I meant more like discrimination. If there's a person discriminating a skin color, person, sexuality, animals, whatever. It should be taken down, yes. Instead of being disliked a million times because that doesn't do anything.

 

If you have an opinion, state it in the comments. The dislike button is not neccerssary.

Precisely. Many people only use the dislike button to be rude and a bully anyway.

I have many dislikes on many of my videos and I haven't done anything in them to displease anyone.

It's just a miracle if one of your videos DOESN'T have at least one dislike. Because people are really generous with dislliking videos, no matter what it is. And honestly, it does sting a little for most people. Having a dislike button isn't very nice at all to begin with.

I never comment on them let alone dislike/like. Usually the video I watch I would like anyways. I'm one of those people who doesn't put their voice or opinion on a video, just watch and that's it.

I find myself disliking a video if:

• The person is collaborating with someone
• The video takes too long to get to the main reason I clicked on the video
• The video is racist, abusive, etc.

Then why do you spend the time disliking that! Spending time dislike a video just based on it's length? I can understand you not liking the video and being like "waste of time", but disliking the video?
