A laptop is more convenient when not at home (lugging my game PC, monitor etc to a LAN party is not as convenient), but when at home I prefer a desktop. When on vacation, a laptop (with a mouse connected) is OK, but still not as good - the monitor is not as good (though it does not weigh 40kg) and the specs are not that great (my laptop is pretty old, of course, I could buy a newer one, but parts for a desktop would be cheaper).

I also have a couple of pocket laptops I use a lot, but they are even less convenient to use than a normal laptop, they fit in my pocket though.

I have both, a desktop with windows as my gaming rig and a laptop with linux if I feel like browsing in bed.

I have both, but I use my desktop more often. I don't use my laptop often anymore, though it may be time for me to get a new one someday since it's about a decade old now. Whenever I'm away from my desktop and feel like browsing the internet, I use my iPad.

I use desktop. I do have a laptop, but it's more of a backup device. Last time I used it was when my hard drive died back in August.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

Laptop/Chrome, not sure how many laptop I had since 2006, it keep crash/broken down, one or two lasted two weeks and four months it pain. Now I had Chrone since 2020 and still standing. One laptop keeps not responding and last laptop I had, can't work without changer, laptop meant to work without chargers when it fully charge or like in 50% charger. One of my laptop lasted two years and few months. Annoyed all my laptop keep getting broken down but Chrone seem to be better.

I currently have a desktop, which i do prefer to using a laptop as they are a lot repairable and I don't have good luck with laptops

however to upgrade because of the pricing in my region I may need to go for a laptop and just using it docked (plus i do want to massively reduce my pc's power consumption), as a laptop here can cost even $600 less than a desktop with similar specs right now

I currently have a handheld PC too that I use when not in the house, and while I do recommend for portable use cause its more convenient to use than a phone, I don't recommend GPD win 3, they just don't hold up compared to the modern assort and I have had a bunch of driver and hardware issues
