Howdy yall!

 

I am trying some things out and I drew some of my friends pony OC's for the pony DND game we are starting tomorrow! I kinda wanna try and do commissions and art trades soon but I gotta keep practicing! How do you guys think it's coming along? >////>

your lines look as though they're drawn with uncertanty, what i mean is that they waver when they should curve smoothly or be straight.

 

Work on the mane, hair should look like a separate thing from the actual pony as it is a major factor in the look. The mane should look more flowing and soft as the way you draw it makes it look stiff and plastic. 

 

the eyes look nice, but do take over the face more then it should, to work on the eyes a bit, they seem somewhat clunky.

 

the body shading could use some work as shadows do seem to appear where they should not, or some are larger or smaller then they should be.

 

body weight should be factored in, such as the pink pony, if her hair is flowing in the wind (that's what it looks like) her body should slightly lean as well.

 

the ears positions seems off as they should be slightly on the back of the head when drawing from the side.

 

sharp ending (points and corners) should be highly avoided when drawing a cute pony, Sharp endings are good for older ponies or more serious styles.

 

the eye shading and lighting could use some work as well

 

keep it up, practice means perfect and you are improving very well! :)
