The Diver 760 September 18, 2016 Share September 18, 2016 I have one in my room for while I sleep during summer and when I have my pellet stove on during winter since insulation sucks in my house. That's when I have it set on low for obvious reasons. 1 "I could have been happy above if I'd never donned the copper carapace and dipped my head beneath the waves to hear the muddled man-made sounds. Distorted and dreamlike droning. The whir and thrashing of a distant propeller, the tumultuous thundering thud of fogbound freighters. Mud underfoot, no sights, except the grasp of a diver's trained hand, dreaming of distant lands knowing all the while this is what I love, not the blue skies and wondering faces above. Canvas, rubber, brass, copper, and glass. Leather and lead, mud and sweat, heaving around in dark, damp depths seldom seen by most yet talked about by all. As if a sunny, happy place where mermaids and seahorses play and chests of gold are lain bare, untarnished by salt and time for all to grasp who are bold enough to go below..." -"Deep Sea Diver", Steven L. Kings&Hooves14 616 September 18, 2016 Share September 18, 2016 I prefer lower temperatures than the average person, so I have four fans in my room. I really, REALLY hate being hot. Holiday Agnaktor 1,436 September 18, 2016 Share September 18, 2016 You bet there is one. Summer is too hot, and we don't have AC here. This fan is the only thing keeping me alive. 1 Awesome signature by FallenTrench People think my soul is filled with grey, but it's actually filled with rainbows! Lisa 5,553 September 18, 2016 Share September 18, 2016 Yeah and I'm gonna have to start using it again soon. Spring's started and it's beginning to heat up. I can't sleep while feeling hot, it's just so distracting and discomforting.

Lisa 5,553 September 21, 2016 Share September 21, 2016 I live in a fairly new house (built in 2008), so we don't have any fans, instead we have ducted air conditioning. Thank god too because it's far more effective than fans.
Bob the Changeling 47 September 23, 2016 Share September 23, 2016 I always have a fan inside my room, I live in a really hot wooden duplex house, so I need that fan for cooling. If I don't have a cooling fan, I get really uncomfortable, and I do not get a good sleep. Whoever is reading this, have a nice day! :3 1 Rawr! KatonRyu 1,033 September 28, 2016 Share September 28, 2016 There is, yeah. I can't do without it in the summer, considering I live in a top apartment so I'm right beneath the roof. On a warm day it'll get above 30 degrees Celsius inside.
SomeRetroGeek 110 September 28, 2016 Share September 28, 2016 Fans are for the weak. In British Summertime, I open my window slightly if it's above twenty degrees. No need for fans in my room! A warm radiator would be more useful since we're coming up to winter! 1 He looks at modern stuff too if your curious! Huge thanks to DanishToenails for my profile picture! Techno Universal 2,575 September 28, 2016 Share September 28, 2016 I live in a two story brick home that is in a private estate that was built on the foundations of a old school. It was completed around (1998) and has a central air conditioner vent system. It's ok but uses a lot of power especially on a 40© degree day in summer. And conveniently there is a air conditioner vent in my room. 1 Message from UNIT: UBC-001 (Original image used made by @chaosprincess signature composed by @Kyoshi) My theory of MLP OC: Techno Universal ask me!: Link

Dark Horse 12,961 October 1, 2016 Share October 1, 2016 I have a desk fan that I take out for about 2-3 weeks of the summer, after which it goes straight back into the closet. Hey, it doesn't really get that hot here. 1 "Always watching - Always lurking." Signature by @Kyoshi
Vulcan 3,254 October 1, 2016 Share October 1, 2016 It's really humid and hot where I live, a fan wouldn't cut it. So I have an AC instead ^ ^
Cash In 22,313 August 2, 2018 Share August 2, 2018 Yes, I do and I usually keep it on when I'm sleeping. Sometimes it isn't even for staying cool, but rather because the sound of it relaxes me. 1 At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do. Guest August 2, 2018 Share August 2, 2018 There is one now, and man am I relieved. The fan is a lifesaver in this heat, especially since my room tends to get awfully overheated in the summer. Now the fan has been blowing air in my face for days and I love that.
